Needed a last minute tailor to a new suit and Mohammad did a great job! I will definitely come back here thanks to their understanding and flexibility. Go local businesses!

Zero stars. I brought my rag and bone here to have them repair a 2 ½ inch rip. They asked if I was in a hurry and I said no. We agreed on Tuesday morning which was 5 days later. I called Tuesday morning and confirmed with them that my jeans were ready for pick up. My jeans weren’t even close to being done upon arrival. Rude service and wasn’t going to refund me for honestly the worst job I’ve ever seen in my life. Colors completely mismatched and bad patching job. Terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all cost.

I rented a suit for my son and was very satisfied. He was very helpful and nice. The price was fair too. I definitely will go back there and recommend it. It’s a small shop but he absolutely professional

Worked out for the price (affordable). Tuxedo quality was OK, plus the shirt smelt and had a bunch of yellow spot.

Got my selvage denim hemmed here. My pants looked great and it only cost $ 10 total.

I would not recommend Bellaz Tailoring to my friends unless they want a place that provides terrible customer service and tries to cover their mistakes with dishonesty. In my three experiences with Bellaz, my most recent and 3^rd visit have solidified the fact that I just can’t go back to place that won’t even say hello when I walk in the door, say thank you when I have chosen to use their services or purchase their products, or try to dupe me into getting something used that is supposed to be new.
My story: I have used Bellaz to rent a tux for my son for 3 different events. I decided to use them because they were local to me and were a small business, which I like to support. The first two rentals were pretty uneventful but I did notice neither the owner or his tailor were friendly when I entered the store, paid for the rental, picked up the rental, and returned the rental. I dismissed it because they got the suits as promised and all was well.
The 3^rd time I went in for a rental, I got the same greeting (little or nothing) but when I was acknowledged things seemed fine. I knew that my son would have several more events coming up and thought it was time to purchase a suit instead of continuing to rent so we could have a suit handy for interviews and other more formal events. The owner had a «deal» of a Calvin Klein suit that was $ 100 off. My son liked it and we purchased along with a shirt and then rented the tie, vest and pocket square. We spent almost $ 400 in his store that day.
When it was time to pick up the suit, things were not ready or even ordered correctly. I was barely greeted by the tailor (he was the only one in the store) and when he couldn’t find my purchase got frustrated with me. The owner arrived shortly after and found part of my order. My order, a new suit and new formal shirt, a rented vest, bow tie, and pocket square were not complete or correct. They had ordered the wrong vest and my new shirt was not there either. The vest was easily rectified but the owner twice offered me a used shirt in place of my prepaid new shirt and even stated the 2^nd used shirt was new. Fortunately for me, the «new» shirt had a stain on it and he had to find me a real new shirt. I walked away disappointed about the horrible customer service and the fact the owner was willing to give me a used shirt under false pretenses.
When I returned the rented items, the tailor was in the middle of the store working with another customer. He looked up, saw me, and said nothing. He didn’t say hello, welcome, I will be with you in a minute… nothing. The owner was in the back and I had to call through their employee door to get his attention. He also did not greet me just went straight to checking the slip if all the items rented were in order to be returned. He didn’t thank me for my business or say goodbye.
I am sorry to have to write this but in this business customer service is important. If it is not important to the Bellaz owner and his tailor, it is important to me. So disappointed.

These guys are awesome. I had an alteration on my pants. They are so skilled experienced in what they do and also so on time. Their service is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

I am so thankful for Bellaz! I was looking for a suit that I could wear to work interviews, receptions and related events. I took me a while to find a suit but finally, when I found one, I had an even harder time getting it altered. I went to Nordstrom to have it altered and was told it cannot be done (apparently shortening sleeves is harder than it looks). Thanks to Unilocal,I then found Bellaz. I went in on Saturday and was told that it can be ready by Tuesday morning and that they can take one button and a couple of inches off the sleeve. The guy helping me was super nice and went over the details with me multiple times to ensure that the jacket will be cut according to my specifications. He called me today (one day early!) and I went to pick it up. I could not believe the amazing job he had done. It was impeccable. I could not believe there was another button and some inches on that suit before today.
Thank you, Bellaz! I’ll be back with my other suit in a couple of days. :)

These guys are awesome. I took in 9 dress shirts for tailoring and they look amazing. I’ve been getting complements from my coworkers, friends, and family on how well they fit.
Tommy and Mo do quality work and guarantee 100% satisfaction. I highly recommend them.

Tommy did an awesome job with my suit that I needed for a Christmas party. I ended up wanting the bottom of my pants to be a little tighter and he did it for no charge.

I have been here already a couple of times to get my dress shirts as well as tuxedo tailored. Every time I was very much satisfied with their work. I am not trusting so many people to work on my shirts or suits but here I know that I am in good hands.

For someone like me, I get my suits from Tom Ford, and my cousin is a designer featured on GQ magazine in Asia. It’s difficult to find a tailor that really know their stuff. Well, look no further.
Reasons I value their services:
— perfect tailor for my suits. Muhammad knows exactly where to fix and he knows how to make it right
— Tommy is very talented and friendly
— I took 6 pair of Jeans, all $ 300+ jeans for them to hemmed, they did a perfect job for all of them, quality work.
— wide selection of fabrics. To make custom shirts or suits. They even have one of the best fabrics from Italy’s best factory and England as well. (I checked)
— Price: to me, if they can make you look like a million bucks, it’s worth every penny
— services: one time I called ahead, driving to Irvine 40 miles away just to come here, they closed at 5pm on a Saturday, they still waited for me 15 mins after they were closed. I was very appreciative.
I’m now considering to make a custom suits here, ranging from basic fabric $ 800-​$ 1200, and high end fabric $ 1200 up to try.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs high quality work done!

We went in to rent four tuxedos for two people for two separate events coming up. I called in the day before and asked when to stop in the next day. They told me 12 so we got there a few minutes before. We announced ourselves to the staff and they told us to have a seat while they finished up with the customers they were helping. We patiently waited and they finished with the customers right before an obvious walk in entered. They immediately started helping him and ignored us. We stood up and looked at them and finally left. I’m not sure what the problem was.
Embarrassing experience and a waste of time.

This place is AMAZING! I was having a wedding dress crisis and Mohammed and the guys at Bellaz saved my wedding day! My dress fits beautifully now and they charged me HALF of what the bridal shop quoted me and they also did it in a quarter of the time. They even beat their own promise and delivered my dress 3 days earlier than predicted. Last week I was frantically trying to find a replacement dress because I assumed that nowhere would be able to alter in time for my wedding (which was in 22 days). Today I tried on my dress and am feeling extremely relieved that I’ll be able to wear this beautiful dress for the whole ceremony and not just in pictures. Thanks BELLAZ!

I like their work, enough said. Their hours are good, and the people are personable and attentive.

I would not recommend at all for tuxedo rental. The owner (I think) hurriedly took my measurements when I came in. He was not friendly at all about the process. Pricing seemed about standard. I left feeling a little odd that I had paid, but wanted to support a local business instead of a big chain.
When I came back a week later to pick up my rental, nothing was ready. Tom (their tailor, works behind the counter) did not know where my tuxedo was. He searched the place and finally found it about 15 minutes later. The tuxedo had not been touched. It still had manufacturer tags on it… and was in the wrong size. It was a 36 chest (correct measurement) and a 30 waist (incorrect measurement. I have a 32 – 33 inch waist and was told to try on the pants. They didn’t fit. What a surprise.
Tom spent the next 20 minutes tailoring the pants and somehow got them to fit. He got the rest of my rental ready as well and apologized for the delay and that everything was not ready. I had to wait an hour in the shop after closing just to get the tuxedo I requested over a week ago.
When I went to return the owner apologized that it wasn’t ready, but that was it.
Tom seems like a great guy and a very talented tailor, but I won’t be returning because of the service and the attitude of the owner.

I’ve taken several pairs of jeans here to get hemmed and they look great after. As mentioned in previous reviews, service is straight and to the point, don’t expect them to fall all over themselves for you.
Note: if you’re planning to go as soon as they open, call ahead. I tried this morning and the alterations guy apparently doesn’t get in until 10 (at least for this morning).

If it’s your first time tailoring your suit or buying an affordable suit, you can ask them what suggestions they have. They’ve pretty friendly and they’ve got you covered from head to toe.
I went here twice and they’re usually busy right after work hours.
It’s expensive, I’ll tell you that. I’m not sure how much it usually cost to alter the coat ($ 95) and the pants ($ 17). I only stayed because it’s for my sister’s wedding. But in my opinion the outer coat was pretty expensive relative to the price of the coat itself. I’m sure you can find somewhere in the 626 area at a much cheaper price.

Excellent craftsmanship. Tommy is a very professional and honest tailor. He explained various options, gave me recommendations and finished everything on time as promised. All prices were very fair and reasonable. 3 Suits Tailored to fit. 2 Custom Shirts. I will go back… found my new tailor.

Bellaz Custom Tailoring is my first stop for alterations in North Irvine.
I have had a few suit and sport jackets along with several pairs of jeans tailored here. The prices are fair and the quality of the work has been spot on every time. The service is no-​nonsense, which is just fine by me and I usually get my garments back and tailored to request within the same week.
