I rarely post reviews unless they are deeply warranted. Thank you for the absolutely beautiful Birthday arrangement! My sister ordered this from Portland and magically appeared at my door step in Irvine when I got home. I was surprised and she was very happy with the level of detail that was put into the arrangement when I sent her the pics. I know how difficult it can be to randomly pick a florist from out of town and hope they deliver something wonderful. You certainly did that and more! Thank you from both of us. Doug & Ruth.

My partner ordered my flowers and they are PERFECT! Fresh and vibrant! The floral arrangement is so perfect that 3 people have asked if they were real. They have been fresh for 3 days and I’m sure they will last another 3 – 4 days.

Shirin was contracted for our wedding, She is the most amazing unique florist out there! After extensive research we found her through a family member. I can’t stress enough how well Shirin knows her flowers and color matching expertise. Keep in mind she is not your standard stereotype florist, she has her unique eye. We gave her our ideas and she made everything stand out. Our wedding was most amazing, more than my eyes could have pictured it! Sometimes you got to find someone who loves what they do and hire them to do it for you. That is what i did! Prices are reasonable, you get what you pay for. For any occasion Shirin is the right person!

Received beautiful bouquet for my birthday… However after 1 day the large hydrangea which was a big component of the bouquet was all wilty and dying! I tried to revive it in a sink of water but it was still wilty and sad. Terribly disappointing!!!

Shirin is amazing. she has always come through for me personally and for my work. I do a lot of high end catering lunches, meetings & dinners and she has always done amazing work. she is a pleasure to work with and also has helped me out with hectic last minute situations.
I’ve also had new bosses say they want a comparison done with her arrangements and their preferred florists they have used and every single time Shirin has blown them away. she has that special touch with all the arrangements.
I really don’t understand a couple of the bad reviews here. In all my 9 years of using BOP, i have NEVER had a bad arrangement or seen anything done half way or without effort. All of them have always been top notch. I am very detailed and always look at the smallest of details (thats my job!) and I’m always happy with her making my vision come true!

I had purchased flower arrangements from Bird of Paradise before and they were beautiful. So when it came time to hire a florist for my wedding I didn’t hesitate. I met with Shirin and only gave her the vaguest idea of what I wanted: hydrangeas, mini lilies, and I wanted purple and white. When she delivered the flowers they were more beautiful than I ever imagined! They were absolutely stunning – white hydrangeas and roses, purple orchids and sweet peas. And my bouquet was just as gorgeous, purple and white hydrangeas and mini lilies. I’m so glad I chose Shirin for my special day!

I called Shirin because I knew she had the expertise to make a wonderful and unique arrangement for my mom. Had an arrangement delivered to our mom’s office for her birthday today and she told my brother and I that they were the most gorgeous flowers she has ever received and that they made her cry she was so happy. This place has the most unique and beautiful flower arrangements! Whether you want to spend 30 dollars or 100 dollars, you will get a great arrangement that people will remember! I got an arrangement from them 2 years ago and I still say it was the most beautiful flowers I have ever received! The lady is super friendly and helpful!

Amazing service and the florist Shirin is great. Brought in a single Bird of Paradise flower and they turned it into something presentable. I will be back!

HORRIBLE! This lady sold me a DEAD bird of paradise & threw it together with other semi-​dead flowers that didn’t even match or go with the bird of paradise & wrapped it hideous! I will never go back to a florist that would STAPLE the wrapping on to a bouquet! I was super disappointed luckily I found a flower shop close to my work that was able to save me from this nightmare! I don’t understand the name of this shop it should be DEAD BIRD OF PARADISE.

I have been such a happy client of this florist. She has made such beautiful arrangements for me for the past few years. If you want quality and uniqueness come to this florist.

I’m BIG on customer service. I also respect various forms of art. Not in a fartsy type of way. Just in a way that shows the person performing had a passion for what they do. Queue the owner of Birds of Paradise. I was in search of a new florist around where I work and found BOP on Unilocal and decided to give them a look-​see. The owner dropped everything she was doing at the time to greet and help me.
The arrangements were original and appeared to be well put together. I forget the name of the arrangement but it was one of the smaller choices she offered for $ 60. It was a little more than what I was used to paying but well worth it. She made the arrangement from just one glance at the photo and (after a few tweeks here and there) my arrangement was complete. Oh yeah, I should probably mention that she also offered to make a smaller version of some of her more expensive arrangements and charge me less.
Any who, my Wife LOVED the selection so of course that means I’ve found my new florist. Thanks Birds of Paradise! See you again soon…

I went to Trader Joe’s and on a whim bought some very cheap flowers. Being a typical I didn’t think it through that you can’t just give flowers still in their plastic wrap with the price tag and all that attached.
So I had to find a florist fast and came upon this little shop.
I was worried about bringing in flowers not purchased in the shop but the lady had no issues there and speedily went about transforming my flowers into a very nice presentable gift for my S/​O.
Would definitely recommend future business with her.

I dropped into Bird of Paradise yesterday on a whim to get a nice flower arrangement for a business associate. Shirin put together a great arrangement, and a terrific price within a few minutes of me walking into the shop. Excellent experience from start to finish.

The arrangement i recieved was so horrible that I decided to makd a Unilocal account just to share my HORRIBLE experience with you…
My boyfriend ordered an arrangement to be sent to my school for our anniversary which was yesterday. When I went to go pick them up from the receptionist desk, i had a balloon that was half deflated and an arrangement that looked like it was thrown together by a blind person. The ties that held the two bunches of roses together were coming undone and there was this ivy looking thing that was hanging from the side. My first thought was that my boyfriend had bad taste but after talking with him i found that it wasnt suppose to be delivered until 3pm (it was delivered around 10:30) and that there was suppose to be a hand written card. The arrangement was made with such bad taste that I was too embarrassed to even claim them. We came here today for a refund but rather the owner herself decided to argue with me until i was in tears. I attempted to take a picture of themand she snatched them away from me and but them in their walk in fridge. She claimed the 8 heart roses were expensive and rare. I found a boquet of 16 for cheaper online. I am currently sitting in the waiting area for her to fix her mistake. She refuses to give the old arrangement back. My boyfriend paid $ 90 for crap.
After refusing to return our money and the old arrangement she told me I could have whatever I wanted. I picked out 25 heart roses, 2 balloons and a bear.
NEVER EVER GO HERE. ITS NOT WORTH THE TIME OR THE MONEY.

$ 240 bouquet that looks like someone just slapped together whatever was left over from Valentine’s Day.
My husband purchased the «Love Story» bouquet and upgraded to 2 dozen roses instead of 1.
This arrangement is hands down, THEE WORST arrangement I have ever seen. It came with 12 red roses, 12 white roses, a vine of ivy, some woodsy looking berries and then some tropical leaves & 2 small orchids. No theme, no rational, just a bunch of crap slapped together. What a disappointing arrangement!
The picture on the site looks ugly but still better than how I received mine and after 3 days, the water is merky & all of the flowers are wilted.

Just got a delivery today– above average flowers that are beautiful. Thanks to this company and thanks to my amazing boyfriend for thinking of me :))
