CSU Fullerton – Irvine

CSUF students,
please take your classes here now,
There’s no traffic, it’s convenient to find parking, and the chairs are soo comfortable especially when you have a 3 hour class lecture. You can purchase a parking parking at IVC/​Saddleback for $ 45 and use it here. I know this campus is trying to pursue students on the main campus to register for classes here by giving incentives. It’s too bad that its my last semester before I graduate, BOO, wish I have known sooner.

The Irvine campus is basically a condensed CSUF main campus. I would totally recommend it to anyone! You can get there with no traffic. The parking is amazing. The facility is new and modern. It is all indoors so there is no walking around in the heat from building to building.
All of the same classes are offered and usually there are even smaller class sizes. It’s really nice and beneficial to be able to have a a decent size class to create a personal relationship with your professor!
I still need to check out the computer lab, library and fitness center– but by the looks they look great.
Definitely check it out!

The CSUF Irvine Campus is a total score. I can always count on getting there without traffic, and there is always parking! Its a small campus so they have a smaller bookstore and smaller library.
Unlike the Fullerton campus, there are never any long lines! I can always count on getting anything I need done there whether its a quick visit to the Career Center, a run at the Fitness Center, studying at the TSU lounge, or any paperwork necessities. The best part about this campus is that if you only have classes here you get priority registration and you can buy a parking pass from Saddleback/​IVC for only $ 45 instead of paying for the $ 235 parking pass through CSUF.
I definitely recommend this campus for anyone located close by. I always find that the classes I take here have great professors. Also, they’re always giving out free stuff here! Seriously majority of my visits to campus I end up leaving with free food– it’s great!

BEST CAMPUS EVER. im telling you now… if possible get all your classes here. i get to class super quick and theres always parking! there is a gym, tsu lounge, bookstore, career center, etc. its the perfect little campus and everything is so clean and spacious! the feeling here is the opposite of the fullerton campus. come here and you will for sure be happy! if you are able to get all your classes here… find a way to buy an ivc or scc parking pass for about $ 15 instead of getting a csuf pass! i havent been able to do that yet since i go to both campuses but it can be done!

This was my favorite campus ever. I was one of the first students to set foot here around 2006 and was somewhat of a secret campus. I could leave work at 3:30 from Orange, drive here, find a VIP parking spot and be in class by 4:00pm.
They only offered certain classes at the time and was pretty much a ghost town. Parking was easy like pumpkin pie. But fast forward to around 2008 when I graduated and the campus was getting crowed. I guess the cats out of the bag, and this was where one should take classes.
They was a computer lab where j wrote a majority of my reports and a small snack bar that had Starbucks coffee.
This verses Fullerton? I say go to Irvine.
Go Titans. I MISS YOU! !

Small campus. Mostly business classes I believe? I came her to give a classroom presentation for a couple Kinesiology classes. The students were nice and the building looked pretty new. Seemed like there was plenty of parking.

I love this campus, have been coming here ever since I transferred from saddleback. Parking is always a breeze! The facility is small and always clean. The class sizes are small which allows for better student teacher relationships. There is a small bookstore that sells drinks, sandwiches and snacks. There is a TSU that often hold student events when students are not studying in it. There is a small library, plenty of private study rooms throughout the campus and they offer many of the resources available at main campus. You can use a saddleback or IVC parking pass here instead if paying for a expensive one (unless you travel to both campuses). I only have a few minor itches — The newspapers often arrive late, you can’t get your grad check appointments done here or that sort of thing (there is an assistant dean who helps you with advisement though) and finally there aren’t many activities or events available during the day, they are usually scheduled at night which makes it hard for the students who attend day classes and work the evenings. Almost forgot they have a little gym too !

CSUF Fullerton students: I promise you won’t regret going here!
This is my last semester of college, and I’m so happy to have class here. I was nervous about so many things, but found myself IN LOVE with this cute little campus.
CSUF Irvine campus has everything the Fullerton campus has, in one condensed building, including:
–Fitness Center
–Titan Bookstore
–TSU Student Lounge
–Computer area
–Student Activities & Clubs
–Campus Police
–Career Center
The are so colorful that it reminds me of High School Musical campus. The campus just has a fun vibe to it!
The classrooms are easy to get to. NO PARKING HASSLES.
ASI is ALWAYS trying to find ways to make your experience as a student more enjoyable. They host career & skills workshops every month, and fun events, such as: Pizza With the Dean, or live music events with free food.
I wish all my classes were here!

No joke — if they offer the classes you need, and you live in South county, this is THE best campus to attend. Period.
Parking is a breeze. I mean, it still sucks a big one to pay $ 220 for a permit, but there is never a shortage of available parking. Ever. Even on a crowded day, I can park so close to the entrance that it’s a 2 min walk.
Worried about long book store lines? Don’t; there aren’t any. I came here on my first day and gave myself around 30 min of breathing room to make sure I could get all my stuff. Walked in and found the place deserted. The guy working grabbed my books and I was out of there in less than a minute. On the first day.
Since this is a newer campus, it’s also immaculate. Everything is shiny & new, with none of the wear and tear that most campuses have. Even the bathrooms look so clean you’ll hardly believe college students use them on the daily.
I know at some point I’m going to be forced to attend classes on the main campus, but I can guarantee I’ll take every single possible class I can here. It’s RIGHT off the 133, so anyone who uses the toll road will have a very breezy commute. I’ve become so used to colleges making everything an expensive pain in the ass that I can’t stress enough how refreshing this campus truly is.

Anyways, new facility, super clean, nice desks, tables, chairs and computers and plenty of parking!

I am a CSUF alum, and during my undergrad I ‘did some time’ at the Irvine Campus (which was then located at the old El Toro Marine Base location). My review is tentative, I will update in 3 – 6 months after I have spent more time here.
I recently transferred to this new campus on Banting — actually, the whole school just transferred — it opened at the start of the Spring 2011 semester after the old location was closed. My first impression was sort of ‘BLAH’ b/​c it just looks like an average commercial office building.
The parking lot is pretty good, lots of spots, easy access, and all around the building, so you never have to walk too far. The worst part is the antiquated parking-​machine which pumps out daily permits for $ 8 a pop. What a joke — it takes $ 1’s and $ 5’s only — NO CREDIT CARDS! OK, not to sound like a total brat, but what kind of fancy LCD screened new parking machine doesn’t accept credit/​debit cards in 2011… I mean really!
The building itself is nice, it smells like new carpet and paint, it is very clean and has a gym, nice restrooms, and relatively large classrooms.
I was disappointed that the classroom (at least the one we have been in for the past 3 weeks) doesn’t have power outlets for notebook power and the seats/​desk are fairly uncomfortable. Also, the bookstore is rather small (its satellite campus, so what can you really expect?) and the facility doesn’t «scream» CSUF (no school colors, no logos, no signage, etc.) but I have gone easy and awarded this campus a «4» since it is brand new, and overall a nice place to attend.
