Ductz of Orange County & Los Angeles

For being a business owner for a long time, I always pay attention to good customer service. I am really pleased with choosing Ductz of Orange County for my complete air vent cleaning and service cleaning for the HVAC for my new home. Also it says something great about a company when the staff is knowledgable and has a friendly demeanor, and this company had this! They were on time (came on a Saturday even), professional, and Kevin the owner was very honest and receptive of my questions. I have dealt with other companies who almost push your business away or do something weird when you start asking questions but this owner is caring, on top of it, and obviously knows what he is doing! Another happy customer!

I called during normal business hours and their answering service or receptionist did not want to answer any questions at all.
and she said «Just leave a name and number so their tech can call me back thats the best I can do».
I said «forget it then» and hung up.

This is the second time we have used this company to completely clean out our air and dryer vents. They made sure that none of our air ducts had mold, or wet insulation or infested with any vermin! or clogged with dust, debris and particles. The Ductz Work crew of Joey and Cesar, in the opinion of my wife, greatly improved the indoor air quality of our home as well of not having the dreaded fear of a dryer vent fire that happens all to often around the country.
The job-​work went great! The owner Kevin (the owner) & Son and their company did a wonderful job of work and customer service, along with attention to detail, job attentiveness, if not at the job site, then at least with a follow up call to us to make sure that the job was being done and done right. We also got a telephone call from the owner just as his work crew was finishing up, asking how the job went and if were satisfied with his company’s and work crew’s work? (that kind of attention is something you don’t see now a days)
Another reason that we picked them, was that were are the only ones that we could find that were A.S.C.S. Certified by N.A.D.C.A. of proper inspections and cleaning. We also like that they use registered EPA registered products. They are also members of the Indoor Air Quality Association of America, none of the other companies we looked at had these qualities or National Certified Credited Credentials.

I made an appointment yesterday 10 minutes before the appointment time today the owner called me and said that he cannot make it because they are overbooked. the owner hung up the phone with saying good luck with other companies.

Family Owned, call him, he knew his business more then anyone I spoke with and then sent out a crew and delivered at the same standard. Was worried his crew was not at the level and they really did a great job.

I was very happy with the professional job done by ductz. They actually clean your ducts with specialized equipment that snakes through the system and removes all the dust & debris. They even clean the blower in the furnace. The first company I hired came in with a shop vac and was in and out, not even cleaning the inside of the ducts, just the registers. After calling them on it they gave me my money back and moved on to the next one. I guess they were too busy to care.

I was very impressed with the integrity of this company. This was my first time trying to have my heating ducts cleaned. After some research and calling a couple of companies for quotes I decided to use Ductz.
The first thing that impressed me was that when I mentioned to Chris during the quote that I lived in Huntington Beach in an older home, he said cleaning the ducts might not be a good idea because a lot of older homes in the area used materials containing asbestos. He said he would come out and check out my system first before scheduling a cleaning. He said if they weren’t able to clean the ducts because of asbestos, I could chose to just have the closet where the furnace sits and the return cleaned for a lesser price. When he mentioned about the asbestos I immediately had the ‘ah-​ha’ moment that of course… the house might have asbestos and therefore there shouldn’t be vigorous cleaning which might disturb and distribute the material. I also realized that neither of the other 2 companies that I called that were supposedly highly qualified and also NADCA qualified even mentioned anything about being careful of the asbestos. They were both very eager to give me a quote and would presumably do the service and cause more harm then good in doing so.
So flash forward to the day Chris was scheduled to come for the inspection. He called me to tell me he was running 10 minutes late. Again, very conscientious. Then after he did his inspection, he did confirm that the ducts had asbestos material that shouldn’t be disturbed by a cleaning. He also spoke to my husband and recommended that he could do the cleaning of the heater closet himself with a shop vac instead of paying him the $ 150 to do it. My husband completely agreed.
So although Chris didn’t perform any cleaning, I am giving him 5 stars for being very thorough, professional and honest.

Expensive but worth it! So professional too. They cleaned our air ducts in our apt in OC and replaced the old asbestos-​filled ducts in our new house in Torrance! Great guys, very thorough. I had some issues with the furnace not working and Chris offered to come out and take a look. Turned out to be electrical issues in our home and they never charged me for taking the time to investigate for us, great service!

Ductz removed and replaced the air ducts throughout my home. Chris gave me the estimate, coordinated the job, and also helped with the billing. The only issue we had Chris brought to my attention before I even noticed. This company is great. I highly recommend them.

Excellent service quality. Extremely respectful technicians who graciously offered to start work in a certain corner of the house so as not to wake our napping toddler. We were having issues with the flow coming through certain vents and they even came back to double check the system for no charge. Highly recommended.

We were lucky to find this company. Our office had been sadly neglected. The service was thorough, fast, considerate and clean. Everyone we dealt with in the company was great. Customer Service, professionalism, common decency and courtesy could not be better.

, this CLEARLY evidenced that the owner is still clueless of what is good Customer Service, professionalism and common decent courtesy.
There is no such thing of short of money, cash can always be taken out of the ATM. Poor judgement of response and lack of reasoning.
Another accusation of not being able to offer Credit Card. I have plenty of credit cards to choose from, it was your Technician that said Credit Card will cost you a transaction fee (as a business). Another poor customer service.
The place is dirty and YOU or your son were not there to see it. You go by what your technicians said. That’s alright. Even when my place is dirty after the service, I WOULD NOT WAIT FOR YOU OR YOUR SON OR YOUR TECHNICIAN TO CLEAN UP THE MESS. COS I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD AT HOME WALKING ALL OVER THE PLACE. I would’ve clean it immediately. GET IT?
Becareful of who you are accusing of not being a NADCA compliant. Sears Services stated that they are also NADCA complaint in their WEBSITE. So as a consumer, to comapre your business to Sears, is MY RIGHT!
Btw, I paid $ 510 in cash and not $ 515, let me correct this for you, but thanks for the error.

HONEST! We paid $ 100 for «Indoor Air» in Tarzana to come and clean all air ducts (just one of those google searches filled with fake reviews), they just hooked on a small hose to nothing and sat there for 20 minutes and then left with the money. Nothing was cleaned.
I remembered that when we last had our house cleaned, we used the NADCA website to locate a REAL air duct cleaner and were very happy. Looked it up again and found this business. I asked them to come out and check the «work» that had been done and give recommendations. They came out the next day and thoroughly examined everything, letting us know we’d been scammed but that this type of air duct system was too fragile to clean anyways.
5 STARS FOR AN HONEST BUSINESS with ethical practices!

Professional, fast and honest. We had our ducts cleaned when I was 8 months pregnant. So I was worried about chemicals and a messy clean up. I did not need to worry, everything went so smooth. From the estimate to the actual cleaning everyone was nice and professional. We will use them again and would recommend them to friends, family and neighbors.

They cleaned the vents at my house a couple years ago, before I moved in, and they did a great job! Clean, professional, quick, and gave very honest and good advice. Great job!

Had my vents/​ducts/​furnace cleaned today by Ductz. Overall a pretty cool process. They have this huge vacuum and compressed out to blow all of the dirt out of the ducts in to the vacuum. Took just under 4 hours — a very thorough cleaning. My only ding on them is that they showed up about 30 minutes late… but the service was great once they got here.

We had DUCTZ here at home this morning for some long needed vent cleaning. Mike and Joey were here on time, were very professional and specially very careful to protect my furniture/​floors/​walls, etc. Mike gave me a play by play as he explained the process, how long it was going to take and of course how much it was going to cost me which was around the same price quoted by other companies. Thomas, the project manager, came by to answer any other questions I had and educated me a little about my home’s air quality. Overall we were very happy with this company’s service. We will definitely use their service again for our AC maintenance.

This is my first experience with home air duct cleaning so I’m just rating this A-​OK since I have nothing to compare it to. Made a call on Monday and Chris promptly stopped by that afternoon. He walked around and quoted me $ 500 total, including free dryer vent cleaning. The following day, 2 technicians named Mike and Joey arrived. Both worked well as a team and were quick and efficient. Total time around 3 ½ hours. They cleaned the bathroom fan vents and changed our air conditioner filters as well. They cleaned up after and wore shoe covers while in the home, which I appreciated.
The only mishap was that when they moved the washer and dryer back after cleaning the duct, the duct hose was crushed and subsequently torn. Didn’t notice it until the next day, but made a call to Chris and they came out that day to replace it at no cost. Technically a 3.5 rating, these people are nice.
I was tempted to call one of those services that send out coupons for $ 49, but Chris educated us on the difference between those companies and Ductz. I guess those other guys just vacuum the opening of the ducts and don’t really clean the whole system. Good to know.

I had my vents cleaned a few weeks ago and I cannot say one bad thing about this company. Everything exceeded my expectations. This company not only called me back with answers to questions I had, they came out the same day to check my vents to see what services needed to be performed. Mike and Joey were exceptional technicians. They were knowledgeable, professional, polite, responsible and treated my home with care and should be praised for their work. They were not only on time, but early for the vent cleaning. The general manager, Chris, even stopped by to see how everything was going. The timing and the pricing quoted was spot on. No hitches, no problems. It’s hard to find an honest company to do a job properly. Being rated high on the BBB made my decision much easier. This company is completely honest and not only knows how to run a business, but knows how to serve its customers well. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I called about a dozen places when we decided we needed to have our air ducts cleaned. I spoke to Chris, the General Manager, on the phone and I was impressed that they knew what they were doing. They arrived on time, and started promptly. I especially appreciated that they wore protective covers over their shoes while in my home since I have a toddler — and they used corner guards to make sure that they didn’t scratch anything in my house while working. They were likewise very careful moving my washer/​dryer while cleaning that duct — I appreciate that they made sure they didn’t destroy anything else while working. The technicians were friendly and worked fast. My ducts are all clean now and I highly recommend you try them!
