What a horrible place. If you hate your child bring them to this God forsaken shit hole. I’m actually a former student of Elite of Irvine and I’ve never been to a place I felt more discouraged and helpless at. If the Elite of Irvine staff is reading this (which I hope they are) they probably would recognize my face as I was in detention every single day. My learning abilities aren’t the best and therefore I was punished everyday in every subject due to not meeting Elite’s really high standards. It is such a bummer I’m writing such a shit review for this place because it isn’t all that bad. I met a few cool young staff members and I had one really awesome teacher. I forgot my bitch teachers name but she was for math for the SAT bootcamp and she literally gave up on me two weeks in of an eight week course. We once went around in a circle towards the end of the program to say what we wanted to be in the future and I had mentioned I wanted to be a buyer in the fashion industry and she shot me down before I even got to the climax of my plan. She basically told me it wouldn’t be possible and also, I was also the last person to share because she literally skipped over me. Well to you, my former math teacher, I’m currently a marketing major at FiDM and I got an 85% on my final last week. So, you can suck my dick. the head lady of this location, I think her name was Caroline, told me I wasn’t going to college, after I had been accepted to my number 1 school as a junior in high school. Caroline, if you’re reading this, I’m in college and you are a horrible passive aggressive woman and may I never see your face again! I didn’t learn shit from this place. This place is literally fucking hell, and I’m not saying this because I didn’t succeed here. SOME of the fucking teachers are mean as shit. I would’ve rather been whipped as punishment for not meeting there SAT standards than do their detention in that shitty hell hole where I had to see all their faces and relish how horrible it was there with them all. Please find a better tutoring place for your child, I promise you’ll spare them the heartache this place causes. This place was literal fucking hell. I hope businesses can’t delete reviews because this needs to be posted everywhere, the people need the truth. You need the truth. Go somewhere else.

We paid $ 1700 and my daughter spent her summer (8 weeks) at Elite preparing for the ACT test. She is very smart 4.1 GPA. She felt poorly prepared and got an terrible 25 on the test. Don’t waste your time and money at this place!

I definitely recommend this place. My son’s SAT score has improved significantly. The staff is amazingly polite, especially, Hana Lee. She was super helpful and gave us plenty of useful information. She was very honest about what my son needed and really made it personal. Hana did a great job explaining the program and clear about the fees. The other places were confusing and didn’t seem organized.
Also, I recommend taking the extra tutoring session.
However, it’s only useful if it’s taking seriously. My son really put his time to do the work given at the tutoring center.
I’ve shopped around and this is the best place for the price.

HIGHLY recommended! We researched numerous SAT prep courses and decided to send our children to the Elite Institute. Elite sets the bar in teaching, practicing, and instilling the necessary tools to achieve individual goals as well as striving for the perfect 2400. The staff, in particular, Ms. Hana Lee, has been exceptional in guiding, communicating, and following up with us. We will be sending our youngest there soon; there is no where else that will thoroughly prepare your child other than ELITE.

I was very happy with my experience at Elite Educational Institute, Irvine. The director of this particular branch is very knowledgeable and helpful. Hana has advised me on various matters: what high school classes to take, our plan of action for the SAT, and any other matter related to my children’s education. Any time I reached out to her, she was readily available to discuss matters and come to my aid. My daughter and son will both be attending Elite (Irvine) again this summer. The boot camps are certainly rigorous and challenging, but worth every minute, if you put in the work. Elite has been an active partner throughout my children’s academic career thus far.

I definitely recommend Elite as a great place to send your son or daughter to study for SAT. My daughter attended this summer and score a 2250 on her SAT. Although the courses were challenging, it was helpful nonetheless. The teachers were able to really help her and when she took the test, she thought it was easy. She was able to pace herself and know what details to look at. I was absolutely satisfied with this investment I made.

I regularly attended Edvanced Academy during my junior year for SAT class and AP language class, and I can honestly said I had an amazing experience. I strongly recommend Elite for anyone who is looking for either academic support or counseling.
I raised my score from 1850– 2150 and AP score from a 2 to a 4 at elite academy. I am an immigrant so i did struggle with English a lot. My school’s Ap Lang teacher told me that I wouldnt be able to pass the AP class. However, the teachers really helped a lot by going through testing strategies, writing skills, and grammar rules. I honestly think the classes is what you make of it. If you are like me, constantly asking questions and replying to the teacher, you will do great. Elite is NOt magic. You dont go in there and then you automatically get a good grade. You have to work hard like any other class, but at Elite, you will receive better attention and better preparation than you will do at any school.
Also, Hana Lee, which I believe is the counselor (?) at elite, is seriously THE BEST. Why? Well, first she really care about her students. When I was struggling with choosing my class schedule, I went to her and asked her for help. She listened to me and gave me advise not base on solely experience (like many school counselors do), she walked me through all the options and then she researched the statistic and searched for information before she gave me her final advice. She even asked admission officers that she knew to double check her advice. The fact that Hana went through so much just to help me figure out my junior schedule shows how much she cares about the students in Elite.
Throughout the year, I have tons of issues and problems that my school counselors couldn’t really help me solve it. (I mean they rarely take time to make a GOOD decision for you) So I would call or email Hana and she would always help me! Whether it is asking her which AP test to take, which teacher to ask for recommendation, or which school to apply for early decision, she helped answer my questions and encouraged me. I really can not thank her enough.
I really recommend Elite, both the classes and the counseling are great. Elite offers ALL the resources, but you must take initiative and ask questions and approach the counselor. They dont know how to help you unless you let them!

Do not, I repeat, do not go here. It’s a total waste of money and even worse, total waste of valuable time. It’s very expensive and doesn’t even help. Go somewhere else with better review.

If I could go negative stars I would. SAVE YOUR MONEY as this is the most USELESS abuse that you would put your son or daughter through. Just to give you an idea of how overpriced and useless this is, the owner of elite drives around in a Ferrari and the employees/​owner doesn’t send their own kids through this program. That alone speaks volumes as to how useless this is. I would recommend a private tutor instead since they can focus on the areas that each child needs work on instead of the work horse, rote mentality of this program.

Truly an awful program. After spending $ 1300 we let our daughter drop out after 5 weeks. It is without a doubt the most boring and unhelpful SAT and ACT prep program imaginable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR STUDENTS TIME!!! Elite trys to get your son or daughter to improve by shaming them, assigning 30 hours of homework a week, sitting in class for eight hours and monitoring the students remotely. Our daughter’s SAT scores actually declined week after week.

I took this as a SAT prep during the summer before I wanted to transfer. The summer course consisted of me staying at the institution for around 8 hours at a time, and wanting to fall asleep after the 3^rd or 4^th hour.
I’m writing a review for both parents and high schoolers to save you $ 2,100. This class was ineffective, and didn’t help me at all. The head teacher back then was very knowledgeable but the 8 hours consist of several teachers and not all of them were good. Keep in mind that the SAT is so broad, that its really hard to study for unless you just want to learn quick strategies, which can be learned without taking you back over 2 thousand dollars.
