Bad customer service. Screw the fact that I had a rental confirmation. The guy told me to go some place else. Yeah first class service.

I have nothing but good things to say about this business. First, their prices are much cheaper than going into any store and buying the same boxes. Plus, I found the quality of the boxes I bought there (mostly medium size moving/​shipping boxes) to be really great. this is after I wasted money buying boxes online that ended up more expensive and of terrible quality. The service was also extremely helpful and courteous.
PS. with regard to an earlier reviewer complaining about the website prices being different, the website clearly states that the prices are lower online since there is a minimum $ 100 purchase requirement. So the lower price is just a volume discount. Even undiscounted, $ 2.19 per medium box for a high quality box is not bad.

I had the best experience here today buying boxes from them. They had every kind of box and were reasonably priced. Tim, who helped me select boxes was patient and helpful. He allowed me to try them out before buying them. They also had all kinds of packaging materials– I just came in to the store with my huge electronic equipment and came out happy with all the boxing materials I needed for a super great price. They do not offer packing services, only the boxes, but were so helpful and patient, that the only thing I had to do at that point was to place the thing into my box with all the packaging materials I need with all the help they rendered me. So much better than the pseudo Fedex Office packing services store down the street at Crossroads. They didnt even have a box big enough, nor a scale big enough for anything bigger than a tiny computer monitor. Irvine Boxes is located in the same office as U-​HAUL Irvine.

Rented a uhaul from here. so this is a review for that only.
I reserved a 14′ truck on
2 days before, and they called me a day before my pickup time to confirm my order. Showed up on the day of, and picked up my uhaul no problem. The guy helping me was fast, friendly, professional, and up front about everything. The only down side is that he was the only one working, so the people behind me (about 3 groups or so) had to wait awhile for their turn.
I was able to get my truck within 20 minutes of getting there. The location is easy to find too, near the entrance of construction circle on the right.
Returning the truck was easy as well, they didnt charge me any extra and the price quoted online was exactly what i paid for. I did have to wait a bit though (10 mins or so) since there’s only one guy working and there were 2 people before me. I would definitely come back and rent uhauls from here. The location is really convenient for those in irvine since the other uhaul location is in newport beach.

Terrible Service!

Beware of sneaky pricing practices!
Prices shown on their website are lower than the prices charged intheir physical store for the same items. I was going to order 12 small boxes @ $ 1.39/box, and 6 medium boxes @ $ 1.99/box from their web site, but since I didn’t have time to wait for delivery, I decided to just drive over and buy them at their store (the web site doesn’t have a will-​call option.)
Looking at the receipt, I was charged $ 1.49 and $ 2.19 per box, instead of the prices shown on the web site. Not a huge amount of money, but a slimy business practice nonetheless. Next time, I’ll just order a few extras from Uline instead of giving people like these my business.

Service is terrible here. I ordered a U-​Haul trailer here for a recent trip. Upon arriving, I had to wait 15 minutes for the guy to find the rental slip. Seriously, I made the reservation a week before. Upon returning, the computer system was down which completely flustered the guy working the counter.
The trailer worked out great, however.
