Awful and expensive… hate their service and they have problems giving you a receipt… Über next…

Called the evening before to order a taxi for my morning flight out of John Wayne. I was told to just call the next morning. I called in the very wee hours the next morning, two hours before needing pick-​up, to specify my required pick-​up time. I was told «no problem.» I walked out in the dark to the security gate on the boulevard at the specified time and waited alone in the dark with my suitcase for over 45 minutes. I called again at 15 minutes after the specified time and was told driver was en route. A half hour AFTER that call, he arrived with a tale about the other driver being beat up by one of his «fares», which rang totally untrue. I barely had time to run through security and run to my gate for my flight time. These guys are too big to care.

Usually late pick up for departures. arrivals are more convenient. Über offers better.

I lost the business card I used for another service so my phone recommend this company Taxi Maxi. More like «Maxi pad cab» for the level of service they displayed. Phone help was no help and the driver took a half an hour to find me. I mean the Tustin Market Place is not hard to find and its only been here for like 25 years. Then the guy tells me he won’t except credit card and wanted to take me to an ATM with the meter running. What an idiot. If he paused the Meter then I might have not minded, but him trying to make an extra five off of the deal is what rubbed me the wrong way. Avoid these guys like the Plague.
I’m gonna check my other review and save the Yellow cab number to my phone since those guys know how to run a business. Hopefully never ride with these Maxi Morons again.

My friend and I were celebrating my birthday from last month and decided to go out. The first cab company we called quoted us $ 27-​$ 29 not including tip. Given that the drive was a pretty short distance I suggested we get a second quote. Thank God I did because Irvine Taxi Company quoted us only $ 20! They said they would arrive in approximately 10 minutes, and 10 minutes later they did! The taxi itself seemed very clean, spacious, and safe.
Phil, our driver, was simply awesome. Phil was very professional yet at the same time very personable. He talked about how much he loves his job and all the different people he gets to meet which in my opinion, says a lot right there. We asked him if he could pick us up later because we were very impressed with his service, he gave us his card and we were just as impressed on the way home. He was a very safe driver and I appreciated the fact that he didn’t speed or take us on some bogus route just to increase price and consequently his tip, he remained true to the quote. He was a happy guy, which was a great way to start out the night.
Overall I’m very impressed and will be looking to this company for any rides I might need in the future. Very reliable, professional, and personable. I HIGHLY recommend Phil, you won’t be disappointed.

Horrible… do not take this taxi service. I called a taxi — they gave it away to someone else without even calling me, I then called the dispatcher who was rude obnoxious. I asked for another taxi to come, which called me to tell me he was taking someone else and that I should call the dispatcher for a third taxi. Finally taxi three– after about an hour in the rain came. If you want good service that is helpful and consistent do not take this service… they should not be in business. There dispatchers are rude and do not know what they are doing and there taxi drivers don’t show up.
