History

Established in 1981.

Kenny the Printer has been a mainstay of Orange County business community since it’s founding by Kenny Fisher in 1981. Over the years we have met the printing, mailing and marketing needs of nearly 30,000 customers. Today, Kenny the Printer offers a variety of services through its five main business operations: digital printing, offset printing, fulfillment services, mailing services and promotional products.

Although we’ve been in the same convenient location for nearly 30 years, we continue change and grow in order to deliver on our customers’ ever more demanding requirements to support their success.

Kenny the Printer is now a part of the Western Print Group, a worldwide network of printing and marketing services enterprises. Established in Orange County in 1973, Western Printing & Graphics blends old-​world craftsmanship with state of the art equipment to bring you the best printing solutions.

Meet the Business Owner

David S.

Business Owner

David Smith brings over 40 years of printing expertise to the organization. Indentured as an apprentice typesetter in South Africa, he soon qualified as a Master Journeyman, and in 1966 he proceeded to open his first printing works in Cape Town, South Africa.

After emigrating to the United States, Mr. Smith acquired his first American printing company in 1993. Western Printing & Graphics, originally a four-​person enterprise, was the first of 14 similar acquisitions, and under Mr. Smith’s aegis it grew into a fully-​fledged commercial printing company with a flexo-​label division.

Most recently, Mr. Smith acquiried Orange County’s premier business printer, «Kenny the Printer». This company has been at the forefront of providing customer service and quality printing in Orange County.
