Came to Lynda’s to get braids for the first time & it was a great experience! I loved all the girls there, they made me feel like family & I love how they all help each other out. The salon has a very positive & lighthearted vibe. Everyone was laughing & talking to each other & they play great music! & most importantly, I love my braids! They came out exactly how I was hoping they would & it’s very reasonably priced. I highly recommend coming here. Lynda along with all of her girls are amazing

I’ve been a client of Linda Umaru’s for 7yrs. I HIGHLY recommend her. She listens and does exactly what you ask and gives recommendations when needed on what looks or works best. She’s well educated on both human and synthetic hair, hair types & textures. Prices are very fair and reasonable. She does AMAZING work!

The first time I went to the salon the braider that did my hair did an amazing job. The past two times I was saddened to find that quality of work could not be matched. I showed pictures of what I wanted and unfortunately they were severely unsuccessful at coming any where close. While friendly staff. Not skilled.

I have been looking for a place in Orange County to do braids & I am so happy I found them! I recently came in for box braids & I left completely satisfied. Lynda will most likely ask you for a picture to get an idea. I had three ladies do my hair, primarily Natasha & Merveille (apologies for spelling) & they were extremely gentle! My braids look fantastic & were definitely a reasonable price! I will be back.

I love this store because the products are reasonably-​priced and the service is so kind and accommodating. Lynda was more than willing to help search through her entire store to find what I was looking for. After pulling out 10 different pieces for me to try, she gave me some helpful advice, and reassured me that there was no pressure to buy anything unless it was exactly what I wanted. She also offered to help me locate a piece if I did not find it in her store.
The location is located in a big business plaza, so the building numbers do not run consecutively along the street. As a result, GPS may not direct you to the business accurately. I suggest following the signs within the business plaza to locate the building number.

I’m really excited and happy to come here on the first time. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I loved my hair so much when I got it done. I came kinda late that night but I were so happy when they have a chance to squeeze me in. Well… I were happy until I woke up in the morning one piece of hair coming up right after I’m about to go Vegas… Sigh. I were freak out and try to braid it back in but well not working.

My hair looks and feels AMAZING. I called on Monday and set up an appointment on Saturday. I arrived a little early but they were able to get started right away. I showed them a picture of what i wanted and they got started right away with helping pick out the hair and the install. The Stylists were very friendly and even made sure I got out in a timely fashion. This was my first time having a non-​family member to my braids and i must say that i am hooked. I have very fine thick hair and most people cant handle it but the ladies here navigated it well without ripping out any tangles. I will definitely be back and I would recommend coming here. The family atmosphere and friendly personalities make sitting for hours more tolerable.

How long has Lynda been doing my braids? Idk, like 4 years or more. She is amazing. She’s quick, efficient and always does a great job. Natasha has also worked on my hair a number of times and they always have me looking great. Also, affordable. I’ve gotten long braids, Senegalese twists, kinky twists, sewn in twists, sewn in weaves. If you’re looking to get your braids or weave done well, at a great price and not spend an entire day doing it (or 2, yes, that happened to me once before I found Lynda), then this is the place to go!

Lynda and her staff are SOOO sweet and talented! I found her in Unilocal and came in for a few cornrows. Her eye for detail is amazing and her prices are just WOW! $ 10 for 3 rows on the side of my head! Just fantastic! I’m in love!
