Ms. Bashaw received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1991 and her Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law, California in 1994.

Ms. Bashaw began her legal private practice of law focusing in the areas of corporate law. While working for the representative office of the largest offshore corporate formation company (Overseas Companies Registration Agents) in California, Ms. Bashaw counseled U.S. clients on matters related to asset protection planning, including domestic vehicles and offshore entities, such as international business companies (IBCs) and trusts.

Ms. Bashaw represented and counseled clients in asset protection planning, corporate compliance, contract drafting, negotiations, and reviews, formed and qualified domestic and international companies, including international business companies in various low tax or no tax jurisdictions, 501[c][3] corporations, limited liability companies, «C» and «S» corporations.
