We are located in the heart of Irvine close to Hoag Hospital Irvine and Irvine Spectrum. Located in the State of the Art New Medical Building, we are proud to be part of this location and practice.

Horrible experience with Ravi Chand and I never even met him. Made 3 appointments with him and he bailed on every single appointment. Didn’t even get a 24 hour notice before cancellations. Dont waste your time with this place.

Dr. Ravi Chand doesn’t care about patients and prescribes medications without discussing the side effects with you beforehand. I went to se Dr. Ravi Chand becasue on his website he said if you didn’t have a good first session he would refund your co-pay and refer you to another psychiatrist. I went to him and he prescribed a new medication to replace one of my old ones. I asked if I had a problem with the medication, could I call him. He made some vague reply. When I got the medication and read the side effects, it said it could cause diabetes. I called my brother who had taken such a medication and had developed diabetes. I called Dr. Chand back. He never returned my call. So I tried to get a refill on my old prescription and they said that I had to come in. I told them my insurance would only pay for one visit per month, and asked them to please have Dr. Chand call me. He never called me. He uses a ‘virtual office’, which means the people you talk to are at a call center not in his office, so you never meet them. They were usless. I ended up having to go off of one of my medications. I called his office to get my co-payment back and didn’t get it back, despite what he said on his website. I finally got a call from his ‘office’ when I told them that due to their lack of responding to my crisis, i had found another psychiatrist. Only then they called me back, not once but twice, to see if I wanted anotherr appointment. If a psychiatrist prescribes medications with such catastrophic side effects and doesn’t discuss them with you and then won’t call you back when you are out of medication, he doesn’t deserve to practice medicine. I would not recommend this man to anyone.

Dr. Ravi Chand is very professional and compassionate. I know this place because one of my cousins living in Irvine went to see him before. He carefully listens with a genuine concern, clearing helping in any way to provide the best assistance as he can.
Also he is very knowledgable in several categories; can bake suggestions, referrals and in depth information on any prescribed medications.
I believe that visiting a psychiatric professional maybe intimidating to some people, especially at the beginning, however the comfort level makes the experience a positive one .
I really recommend this doctor.
