Experience:

I started my career with PrideStaff in 1993 as the Staffing Manager for the Brea office. Over the next 6 years I had opportunities to move into sales, management and a regional manager position. Based upon my positive experience with PrideStaff and knowing what a forward thinking and quality oriented company it is, in 1999 my husband Randall and I made the investment to become Franchise Owners for the South Orange County market.

My personal mission is to build strong partnerships to the benefit of our clients and employees and my team. We also want to deliver our services based on our client’s needs, creating client specific experiences rather than prefabricated solutions. We want to earn our clients trust so that they are able to focus on their core business and know that their staffing is in good hands.

She’ll take the time to listen and get to know your background/career targets — something which is of benefit to both candidates and clients as it helps both sides find the right fit.
I’ve worked with a lot of recruiters over the years on both the candidate and hiring sides — frankly, the ones I’ll work with or think of time and time again are those that take the time to build a relationship rather than treat recruitment like a sales call. I’ve worked with the PrideStaff office in Mission Viejo and have had great experiences. Last week I applied to a position that was posted by the Irvine office (the office I am reviewing here). I was quickly contacted and advised that the position had just been filled (points for an immediate reply!) With each office independently operated, I decided to expand my network of PrideStaff recruiters and met with Jennifer, coming away very impressed with her. The ladies at PrideStaff in Irvine are extremely helpful and kind. Not only did they make me feel good about my qualities, but they wanted to find out what type of job I was looking for. Lori and Donna were the two ladies who helped me out. In a matter of a couple of weeks, I received a call from PrideStaff informing me that a company wanted to hire me! If I had not applied through PrideStaff, I would not have the been able to accept the job that I start next week!
The communication of the PrideStaff is extremely meaningful to me because applying online these days feels like my resume and cover letter goes into a black hole. With the amount of applications companies receive, they barely have the time to give you a rejection email. (At least in my experience). But with the assistant of PrideStaff, they are constantly communicating and helping to make sure their employees are taken care of.

Pridestaff is an amazing group of ladies. Normally I just expect to walk into a temp agency and leaving feeling like another number, and not really hearing much of anything afterwards. Terri was my recruiter in this case, and she was exceptionally friendly and comfortable to be around, and was able to help me figure out my job situation and land me a temp position. This review concerns the services provided by pride staff to my business (as an employer) = I’m unable to rate the services provided to employees
We hired them to fulfill a vacant position (direct hire)
Pride staff of Irvine failed to provide several candidates for the job, failed to check background or references, and… sent us an invoice.
I thought that the invoice ($ 3,000) was stiff for the amount of work, or quality of work involved. I also thought that they did not put too much work or effort into it,
But the manager’s position was to collect the bill no matter what my comments were.

I’ve worked with pridestaff for a couple years now and thy have been such a great help. Just recently I’ve worked with Cheryl. She is amazing. Her customer service is awesome and she’s simply a delight to work with. She made sure I was happy with the job placement and continued to keep in contact with me the entire way they. I can’t say enough great things about pridestaff.
I have worked a bit with other agencies (I won’t name them though, as I feel it is not necessary) and have not felt like yet work with me me and for me than for themselves, as I have with pridestaff.

I have never worked for a staffing agency before so I had no idea what to expect. I went in one day and within a few days I was placed into a corporate company. The staff always followed up on my progress and made sure I received my checks. Cheryl is great. She is so caring, supportive, and helpful. She really wants what is best for you. When I hear about other people’s experiences as a staffing agency, I don’t believe it and tell them to try Pridestaff.
Overall, I highly recommend this agency.

Best staffing agency I have encountered. I have worked with a few different agencies and this is the the only one that actually put in work for me. I contacted them when I got laid off a few months ago and since then they connected me with a few temp jobs that gave me great experience and finally a temp-to-hire job that’s a great fit for me.
All of the employees that work here were very helpful and professional, I personally worked with Cheryl Harmon who is the best. She took care of me and made sure I never had any problems with the companies I worked with. If I am ever job-hunting again this is the first place I will start!
