History

Established in 1995.

My grandfather owned and operated a printshop in St. Louis, IL from 1904 to 1911. In our lobby is a picture my Mom gave me of my grandfather’s printshop taken in 1904. There is one light bulb for the shop, and the press was steam powered! My Dad had his shop from 1969 to 1983 and thru a couple of career development moves in commercial sales and working with Kinko’s corporate in Orange County, California, Mike Cochran became the third generation to own and operate a printshop in the family.

California Print 2 Copy opened for business in 1995 as copy and print provider for local businesses. Within 5 years we grew 400% and had added custom sign services, banners, displays, web based ordering, and graphic design services to support the rapid changes how businesses communicate. Most of the changes were in direct relations to our clients specific needs and to meet those needs in order to be the best provider in the area.

We are 100% locally owned and operated and are proud of the fact that over 85% of all the labor, supplies, raw materials, and resources we use to create and manufacture printing are purchased from other locally owned companies that support our local economy. California Print 2 Copy has been in business since 1995, and during that time we have printed business forms and sales and marketing materials for hundreds of businesses in the Southern California area.
