The pumps are slow for both fuel delivery and transaction processing. Otherwise a great gas station and great staff. Fix the pumps.

…gas station was a MESS.
Because I had Ralph’s Rewards to use up, I drove extra 10 minutes out of my way only to find a tanker truck depositing its load and cars stacked upon cars waiting. Of course at least 6 pumps were out of order.
As I patiently waited in my lane for the car ahead to finish some kid in the next lane over decides to cut me off and move his car to the pump I had been waiting for!!!
Unfortunately, my daughter was in the car with me so I couldn’t go PUNK ASS on the mother F’er!!! I gave him as much a piece of my mind without using expletives and went to the cashier but she was just as rude as he was. «Take it outside» and «go to another gas station» WTH!
I left without getting gas. I knew I couldn’t sit there and wait without totally loosing it.
So to the jerk who rudely complained he’d been waiting 25 minutes only to have the pump he was using fail and thought it okay to move his car in front of mine, karma is a bitch. I hope it comes back to you some day.
To the cashier behind the counter, here’s hoping you have many bad days working at this loser gas station!

Gas is more expensive here but the area is full of corporate people. Convenience store has a lot of options including beer and wine. There are not too many gas stations in the area.

Regular normal gas station, with regular normal little gas station store. Pulling in is weird because you can really only come in from one side…

Fantastic place to get gas. Prices tend to be lower than other gas stations in Irvine. Plus it’s Shell!
Location is very clean.

Terrible service. I filled up today without topping off; however, the pump malfunctioned causing gasoline to spray over my face, hair and my clothes — reeking of fumes, causing a headache. It was necessary to go home, wash thoroughly and change clothes before returning to work. If I was commuting any distance, this would have posed a hazard indeed. It was bad enough feeling nauseus and headachy and worried about exposure to flame. Jovani, who calls himself a manager, showed no concern when I told him what happened. He casually said he would «check it out; expressed no concern towards me. Gasoline is highly flammable.
Last month, needing air in my tires, and not knowing how to work the pumps, I requested assistance. Although there were 3 employees available, I was refused help. I called the manager to ask why customers were treated so badly. He promised to follow up but he did not do so. This station is convenient to my work but based on these experiences, it is not a reputable station.

The air pump doesn’t work and when I asked for help the employee named Efrain said he had no time for me when in fact he had no customers. I also inserted 4 quarters for the air pump and the employee refused to refund. I was amazed by the very poor service in a rich city like Irvine…

This place gets negative stars. I mean, come on! All we are looking for in a stupid gas station is… Gas of course, and the occasional air for our tires. This place is the only place ever in my life, where the idiot working the desk asked to see my gas receipt in order for me to get air for my tires!!! And on a Monday night at 8 o’clock in the evening, when it was not even busy. Oh well, I guess I really can’t blame the guy, as he is working at a gas station and that is possibly his only power trip! Lol. But seriously, we really don’t need More idiots going around making the world a more miserable place. So next time, gas station guy, don’t be a jackass. Just push that air pump button, and see a counselor to sort out your psychological problems. Don’t take them out on others. You have done this seemingly impossible: Made this location a total… FAIL.

It’s cheaper than a lot of the other shells and it’s conveniently located right across from my apartment. Their selection inside is bigger than most gas stations but doesn’t have a really good selection on prepared goods. The gas machines are also really slow…

This shell is very conveniently located as it’s kind of isolated away from other busy places so it doesn’t ever get super super crowded and you always have a route to exit once you’re done! It’s nice because it’s right across the street from Ralphs, Chase, some food places, and other places that might be helpful to have closeby when you grab gas!
THIS SHELL CONSISTENTLY HAS LOWER GAS PRICES THAN OTHERS IN THE AREA! My go to spot when I don’t know there is another place that may be cheaper and close. The Barranca Shell sometimes beats this one, but more often than not, this oine is cheaper

Prices aren’t the cheapest, but it will do. Normal gas station.

fml… i just filled my small car, and the bill came out to be about 45 bucks. 0₀.
surprisingly this place is cheaper compared to the the other gas stations around irvine, which would make sense cuz its usually crowded around night time. i feel like its 2 – 3 cents cheaper.
its tucked away from the major street intersection. its on main street between harvard and jamboree.
the store is clean and have your typical gas station goods. snacks, smokes, lotto, drinks, alcohol.
there is a burger king right across the station, so if you get hungry just walk over and treat yourself to a whopper. :)

Good Shell Gas Station. There is a car wash place next to it in the same plaza and a Burger King if you need a quick pit stop. The convenience mart is kept clean and has a lot of food/​drinks/​etc. Average customer service and it also has a big lot to drive around. However, one thing that i do not like about this location is that to get water/​air you have to pay. Normally if you go to Chevron it is free. It definitely helps pass the time knowing that there are installed TV’s at each of the gas pumps so you won’t be bored just chillin’ waiting for your gas to fill up. This location tends to be quite busy because it is the one place in Irvine that has relatively cheap gas for a Shell because the Chevron/​Mobil is more expensive.

Normally, there is very little need for someone to review a gas station. I highly doubt that one searches Unilocal for a gas station nearby with the plethora of other apps and resources out there to complete the same task.
So, why might I be giving 4 stars to a chain gas station? That would be their awesome selection of energy drinks inside the store (namely Rock Star).
I know that I can’t be alone in my excitement about this considering the number of people I’ve seen patronizing the refrigerated section around the 5 o’clock hour during the week. Sure, this translates to about half a dozen times in the past few months and they weren’t all necessarily purchasing energy drinks but I think I’ve made a valid point.

Shell stations are notoriously expensive, and this Shell station is no exception. I’d normally not get gas at this place, but since it’s the only one (that I know of) that is right off the freeway here, I have to go. (especially if there’s a big red E flashing on the dash.)
However, it is consistently clean and I don’t get panhandled, so this 2 star rating gets bumped to 3.
