I believe that pregnancy, birth and postpartum are a special and emotionally vulnerable time when women deserve to be surrounded by a supportive and knowledgeable environment to help them along their journey toward parenthood. I also believe that providing lactation and doula services is about more than just giving you a few tips — it’s about building a relationship of trust, enabling you to sift through the barrage of information, and helping you find solutions that are right for you and your family.

Women who feel safe and relaxed go on to have a good birth experience and become confident mothers.

My goal is to provide support for you on that journey.

History

Established in 2007.

I started working with pregnant and breastfeeding women in 2007.

I have a Masters degree in Psychology from Cornell University and a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley. I was trained in cognitive-behavior psychotherapy in Budapest, Hungary at Semmelweis University. In the US, I offer life coaching services only.

I was trained as a birth and postpartum doula by DONA, as well as several European doula organizations. I apprenticed as a home birth midwife for a year, and have taught Breastfeeding and Midwifery Support Skills at the Midwifery College of Utah.

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with in-hospital, in-home and group-based breastfeeding support experience.

Réka M.

Business Owner

My name is Réka Morvay. I was born in Budapest, Hungary, but grew up in the United States. I lived in Winnetka, IL until I was ready to go to college at UC Berkeley, then at Cornell University. In 2001, I moved back to my native Hungary, met my husband and had two wonderful children there. Recently, my husband and I decided to move back to the United States so our children can experience life in the States and meet their American family. We joined extended family in the area, and I have many fond memories of Orange County from my childhood, and I’m happy to be living here full time now.
