I was not happy with this dental office whatsoever. I was told that I had to replace my old silver fillings with the newer porcelain ones because it was hazardous to my health. Insurance did not cover this — and I had to pay out of pocket. They also said I had a few more fillings and traces of gum disease — which come to find out at my new dental office, I did not! Also — I did not need to replace my silver fillings if there was nothing wrong with them. Angie the office manager was very pushy — and I felt like this office was taking advantage of me. My Insurance had called to approve reimbursement on a procedure that was covered and that I was charged for and I received a credit to their office. I never went back to receive the credit because I just could not stand it there. I would not recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Professional. Personable. Persistent. Dr. Don and his entire staff provides excellent service. Word of mouth has always played a crucial part of my decision making. I was first recommended by one of my co-​workers and both of us have had great experience. To those reading this, please know that it is always a pleasure to enter his office, and his entire staff will address any detail or concern you have. Cleanliness, hospitality, honesty, accuracy, maintenance, quality, efficiency, and friendliness are all the highlights of Dr. Don and staff. The usage of the latest technology and wonderful both business and dental practices allows you feel safe, and well treated. Receiving text messages, email, and phone call reminders are extra features that I opt-​in and only a few offices do so. Thus, in the overall performance and customer satisfaction comes with a highly recommendation.

I really really enjoy going to Dr. Don. He is very nice, funny and easy to talk to. He will explain everything. The staff is really nice as well. They really take the time to make you feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Don and his staff to anybody who needs a dentist.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Don for about a year and I am extremely happy. In the year that Ive been seeing Dr. Don Ive had cleanings and fillings. I was always afraid of going to the dentist based off a horrible experience with one. I am terrified of needles and drilling. After I met with Dr. Don, I felt comfortable with him. He was nice and professional. When he gave me a shot, i did not even feel it. He was gentle and did not have heavy hands.
The office is very clean and has a spa atmosphere. His staff is the best and I always look forward to seeing them. I will keep coming to Dr. Don and refer him to any of my family and friends.

While Dr. Don’s office staff could not be better, he needs major improving. Way to aggressive and impatient which are two character traits I personally do not want in a dentist. He was also rude to his assistant when she was the only reason I didn’t leave that office screaming. By far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. When I had a reaction to the Novocaine his solution was to suggest that I be put to sleep for the procedure. When I got the job finished by another dentist awake I had absolutely no problems because she took her time, communicated what she was doing and made sure that I was comfortable. On top of that, I got a bill after I paid the insurance difference which was calculated, check before, and assured to be paid in full before I left the office.

I moved to Orange County about 8 months ago and since then I’ve been searching for a dentist considering several factors including distance, ratings, appointment availability, and such. I phoned several dentists and everything was pushed back till a month or so away for new patients. When I called Dr. Don’s office, they were willing to see me the next day as a new patient. I was super thrilled! I have been there twice already, once for x-​ray exams and once for probing. I have 3 more appointments set up for deep cleaning. The staff has been very convenient and helpful and so far I’ve met Dr. Don, Edith, Angie, Hazel and they’re super friendly. While I was checking out after my first visit, Angie took her time explaining every single detail with me and didn’t mind repeating herself until I fully understood the procedure (s). This sells to me, if they care enough to take their time with you, that’s all that matters, you will be provided with exceptional services. I am actually on my way to see Edith once more in an hour! Pretty satisfied with results thus far! AND, I got a free toothbrush, sweet eh? :)

Dr Dons office is wonderful! Since I can’t keep visiting my dentist in Vegas on a regular basis I tried out Dr dons office and I’m so happy I did. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I had my first cleaning and I feel comfortable with him and his staff. My husband is looking forward to his first appointment as well.

I have an old silver filling I didn’t have any pain until the dentist convinced me to redo my old filling for a healthier and better looking filling. After the anesthesia went away, I continued having horrible pain for the next couple of days. At the time, I no longer can handle the pain so I rushed to a local dental place to have them checkout. It turned out, the dentist had drilled so deep that it touches the nerve so I ended up with a root canal. I continued to have mild pain to this day. :(

We’ve been coming here for almost 5 years now and we still travel from the Inland Empire every 4 – 6 months for our appointments.
My hubby was so anti-​dentist before having Dr. Don work on his teeth. He actually says he’d rather go to the dentist than go to work! LOL!
The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. They’ve been watching (now entertaining) my 4-​year-​old since she was born when it’s our turn to get our teeth cleaned. Even wonderful when we had to stop orthodontics process for my 11-​year old daughter. We HIGHLY recommend them to friends and family in the Irvine area.

For what it’s worth, Dr. Don doesn’t have any disciplinary action against him by the Dental Board of California. This is good! You’re thinking «well, duh», but you would be surprised at the amount of other dentists who have complaints filed against them, or have even been suspended for certain periods of time. You can check it easily at their website, but I found it for you in case you were interested.
Now on to the actual review: I’ve been coming to Dr. Don’s clinic for about a year but I’ve had several procedures done (since I’m so shitty at taking care of my teeth). I’ve had 3 wisdom teeth pulled (one left in due to being completely covered and harmless. for now), a root canal, a crown, a full mouth deep cleaning, and several regular cleanings done. Every visit was short, always less than 2 hours, so you can schedule visits during your lunch break if need be. They are very good at giving estimates on how long things will take so be sure to ask if there are timing concerns.
I picked Dr. Don after researching dozens of clinics based on who would accept my insurance, distance, price, and reviews. Luckily, my choice paid off as my teeth are in the best condition they’ve been in years. The staff is very friendly, and they will always shoot you a reminder call or text if you have an appointment coming up. One of the best things is the goodie bag you get after each visit. Who doesn’t love free floss?
I do recommend Dr. Don for pretty much all your dental needs. If we haven’t been overrun by zombies yet, I’ll try to update this review periodically.

I originally came here because of the great reviews, and they were right. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was very welcoming. When they brought me to the back, the staff and assistants were very friendly and helpful as well. Dr Don was indeed quick but thorough. The hygienist was great as well, and very friendly, as she actually tried talking to me and having a conversation. Overall, great (and painless) visit!

I recently had my first visit to this dentistry. I had a great experience, Dr. Don and the staff are very welcoming. They also cleaned my teeth thoroughly for my normal teeth cleaning.

My husband and I have been one of Dr. Don’s patients for almost 10 years. Having experienced a number of different dentists, Dr. Don is by far the most exceptional dentist we have had. We always feel like he advises us to get dental work that is strictly necessary. I’ve heard too many horror stories about other dentists that perform unnecessary work just to make an extra buck. This has not the case at all with Dr. Don’s office. He is a perfectionist and extremely good at what he does, but also has a good sense of humor and makes his patients feel very comfortable. This is extremely important to me and my husband. His office staff his extremely friendly and personable. Also, I’ve never seen a dental office with so much high-​tech equipment and digital x-​rays. Highly recommended dentist!!!

Dr. Don was a bit rude to his assistants. He kept insisting on selling me veneers, teeth whitening, etc. Not very friendly and acted like a snob!

Super clean office (totally important), friendly staff, and honest. I took 2 family members there and very happy with Dr. Don’s ability to put them at ease. No frills or crazy up sales, just straight up honest work. I would highly recommend them. I really like the results my friends got from the Envisilines from him so I guess I’m next. The results were exactly what he promised.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Don for many years now. He’s quick but thorough, very friendly but professional. His staff is also top-​notch: friendly, helpful, and they’ll go the extra mile. The location is also great, right off of Jamboree, across the street from Whole Foods, Costco, and more. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
