I ordered the chicken power plate with the poblano rice and black beans. Poblano rice was nothing but little hard kernels. Either dried out from the previous day or overlooked to death. Got a replacement dish of the rice and it was the same. Chicken was dry. Could be a great dish if it was cooked with some skill

One of the best Mexican fast-casual dining! More choices than Chipotle and I personally like the flavor at Sharky’s better. The main reason why my Sharky’s visits are far and few between is the lack of locations. The only 2 are pretty far from where I live. Even in LA there are not that many. Here’s hoping they expand! I like the ‘light’ menu options they have. Plenty of burritos and salads. I like how they have whole wheat burritos… always a nice option. I ended up having the fajita burrito and it was amazing. Pretty messy though so don’t order this on a first date ;-) All Mexican taco and burrito joints really need to include the chips and salsa bar. Sharky’s does it and they do it well. Unlimited chips and their salsa bar has good options. Their prices aren’t that much higher(if at all) so it is completely worth the price with the free salsa bar. If you have never been I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once!

This is a fast-food Mexican and pizza place. It’s similar to a Rubio’s or a Baja Fresh if you’ve ever been to any of those. They offer burritos, taco plates, salads, pizzas. They have some interesting menu items for health options and they actually looked good such as the salads and quinoa. I opted for a taco plate which comes with rice and beans and 2 tacos and some tortilla chips. Service was pretty nice and quick. They have a salsa bar so you can fill up your toppings as you would like. I thought the food was alright. Definitely good on portions and taste was ok. I had chicken tacos and it wasn’t extra flavorful and even the salsas didn’t have a lot of taste/kick. It was ok to come out to lunch for a quick bite with some co-workers, but I wouldn’t necessarily crave it. There are some indoor seats and outdoor ones as well, it can get busy at lunchtime so you may have to search for seats. I give it an A-OK, 3 stars as it wasn’t bad or good, pretty standard fare.

Fiesta chicken burrito is always fresh and good. Plenty of salsas to choose from in the salsa bar and I love the little candies on the counter while I’m waiting for my food to go. Tacos a little on the pricier side for me. Sign up for their rewards card and get some free food after a relatively small amount of visits(maybe 5 visits I recall)

In comparison to other quick-service Mexican places, this place is comparatively complicated from my point of view since I cannot comprehend the menu very well, so I had to ask a different party member to pick for me.(Going alone made me freak out.) Similarly, the dishes were also not very clear in who gets what and I ended up eating something off a different party member’s plate of side items since I didn’t realize it wasn’t for me. Of course, that means I tasted more than what I was technically supposed to eat, so more food for me! Disregarding any social processes I had to do since I had someone else do it for me, the food was good and the staff that brought the food to the table was nice. This establishment has coupons on the Irvine Company website for a discount. They did not give any hassle when using coupons.

Quick Mexican food that offers local and organic produce, antibiotic-free chicken and beef and wild salon, yes please! Everything I’ve had on their menu is great, from the salads to the tacos. My favorite menu item is the fiesta burrito with beef, organic rice and beans, a generous portion of guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Their hot sauce is also excellent! I don’t feel guilt about eating Mexican food when it’s from Sharky’s! Note: I only get take-out here and have never dined-in but their staff is always nice!

Just another run-of-the-mill upscale Mexican fast food joint. It’s pretty Americanized, so not anything really cool or unique. It definitely doesn’t differentiate itself from the competition. Honestly, I probably won’t go back unless a friend REALLY wants to go — there is just better Mexican elsewhere.

I ordered the Fiesta chicken burrito to go. Wait wasn’t long at all and the place was nice and clean which is always a plus! Got back to my office and devoured that delish burrito. The Fiesta comes with organic rice, black or pinto beans, guacamole, sour cream and a side of chips. The seasoning was perfect. And the serving size was just right. I didn’t even get to try the chips. I was stuffed! They say they use Organic, natural and local ingredients. I’ll have to take their word for it but it was def tasty! Will def be stopping by again.

I decided to come here since it is closer to disneyland. However, the whole experience was awful. I wouldn’t come to this location again. As we walked in we weren’t greeted. Then, I usually order my usual food. However, they wouldn’t separate it into 2 plates with chicken on one plate. Other locations would help me do that and going above and beyond for the customer request. But here, the manager Andrea and the cashier Jessica at this location wouldn’t do it for us. Worse customer service. Also, once I got my food, they put the wrong type of lettuce I wanted. The floors in here were extremely sticky that is near the soda machine and sauces area. Extremely disappointed and the staffs here need to learn how to provide world class service and get the order right the first time. I will NEVER come here again.

I did not expect food this good from a chain mexican restaurant at a strip mall in such a white area. They have some great takes on traditional mexican favorites, and everything I’ve eaten here is above average. Their options tend to also be a little lighter and healthier than your typical greasy taco shop, but still flavorful. My favorite was probably the stacked chicken enchilada, which comes with this amazing green sauce. They also do some solid vegetarian options… I’m an omnivore, but I’d say their veggie and tofu burrito is one of my favorites. Excellent service as well, everyone was very friendly. This is my «go to» spot when I’m in town.

Super!!! My very fussy spouse loved his Bacon Cheddar Burger and I equally was crazy in love with the Wild Alaskan Salmon Burger! Here is the real shocker… Art ‘s burger was 5.95 and I was the big spender 7.95!!! I have not had this good of a salmon sandwich since I was in Alaska. Unique toppings and flatbread instead of a bulky bun. We will be back soon with friends and family.

Fiesta burrito, chicken salad, and nachos are my three favorites. They have a great low calorie menu that most Mexican food joints completely dismiss. Heads up. This place is always clean and quick. Outside seating is usually crowded during lunch. My one main critique; The salsa could be a bit more special. The spicy needs spicier and the green sauce could be greener. Small complaints really.

I really enjoy this place as a lunch stop. The food is quite delicious for the price. I regularly get the steak nacho’s and have yet to be disappointed. I should probably branch out more on the menu, but every time I look at the menu, I just can’t say«no» to those nachos. The staff is polite, attentive, and extremely accommodating. I was very impressed when my friend mis-ordered his food on our last visit.(he SWEARS he ordered it correctly) When the food was brought out he said«oh, I thought I ordered chicken?» The server immediately apologized, took the food back, and re-made his order. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. While my friend was definitely in the wrong, they took the steps to make it right without hesitation.

I don’t think a burrito and chips ever worth $ 9 at a fast food joint. Chips tasted wierd and soda fountain very dirty. Only good thing is the girl that worked there knew about vegan options no problem. .but said she was a rare gem basically. 3 stars cause its not as bad as baja fresh food.

I’ve been coming to the Quail Hill Shopping Center for my lunches every since I discovered this place a couple of months back. I’d been wanting to give this place a shot, but I kept realizing I had Mexican food the day before, so in order to space it all out I kept trying the other restaurants here. Well, today was the day for Sharky’s and they definitely didn’t disappoint. This is a nice cozy little restaurant with the typical nice fast food Mexican restaurant décor. You order at the counter just as you enter and you can see all the food being prepared behind. Around the back is where the freshly made selection of yummy Sharky’s salsas of different heats… and the drink station right next to that. Since this was my first time here I decided to order from the«Favoritos» menu… which I’m assuming means favorites :) I have always loved Enchiladas since I was a little kid so I ordered the Stacked Chicken Enchilada which comprised of two decent sized Enchiladas stuffed with delicious chopped grilled chicken with a Tomatillo cheese sauce, 4 cheeses, cilantro, onions, cabbage, and topped with a dollop of sour cream. On the side, I took the Mexican Rice(choice of white rice) and Pinto Beans(choice of black beans). I must say that this was very delicious! Hot, fresh, and the dish presentation was what you’d expect from a 5 star restaurant. The only reason I took a star away was because I had gone to the salsa bar to grab my favorite salsas expecting to snack on some chips along with my meal, but no, it didn’t come with any. Perhaps I’d gotten too used to Baja Fresh :) Anyway, my Enchilada was still delicious nevertheless. What really surprised me is that I later realized that the ingredients here wasn’t only fresh, but in most cases natural, organic, or GMO — free. Wow, healthy AND delicious. FYI…just because it’s natural, organic, etc. DOESNOT mean it’s low calorie! I just found out that my Enchilada lunch was 1003 calories… ouch…thank goodness I went to the gym earlier :)

I really like Sharkys, their food is very fresh and a lot of it is organic. I have had the two taco plate, numerous times… I mostly get one chicken and one steak taco, original style, with beans are rice. I have also had the Sharkys burrito with chicken. The salsa is very good, and fresh… and the service is friendly as well.

So I thought I was eating something healthy until I logged the food on MyFitnessPal. OMG, I ate an 800 calorie salad — and this was part of their healthier menu. The salad was good but OMG I ATEAN800CALORIESALAD! I got the Naked Chicken Tostada Salad and ate the tortilla. DON’T EATTHETORTILLA! The salad was tasty enough as long as you get a mouthful of all the ingredients because there’s no real dressing. Next time I’m going to try the Quinoa salad. That one looked yummy and there’s no 300 calorie tortilla that you can accidentally eat. OOPS!

This place is a white establishment serving organic and fresh mexican food. It may not be authentic full of lard and grease, but I know that if i’m craving a burrito I can go here w out feeling guilty afterwards. SHIIITTTTT who am I kidding? It’s ALLL about the lard and grease. I live for that stuff. The artery cloggers are my favorite. Although this place does have delisshh fresh salsa: Fire roasted salsa is very yummy. I do have to add that this place is a tad pricey. About $ 10 for a burrito, but I’m sure the people that live here in Quail HIll and Newport can afford a measly $ 10 burrito. I will be back.
