History
Established in 2012.
Smug Mugz was officially born in the summer of 2012. The Smug Mugz caricature stand can be found at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA every other weekend. As traveling artists, Smug Mugz caricature artists can also be found drawing at a corporate shindig, romantic wedding, fun-filled birthday, or special event somewhere under the Southern California sky.

Millie V.
Business Owner
With a background and degree in Studio Arts from UC Irvine, Millie Velasco a.k.a. «Millz Vanillz» is well-known for engaging her guests and capturing their uncanny likenesses in a fun, flattering style. Prior to her profession as a caricature artist, she worked tirelessly as a front-end developer and information architect in the fast-paced internet industry. Hand-coding, optimizing graphics, and designing wireframes were her passions for many years. Her accomplishments include working for clients such as Disney, Allergan, Energizer, Midway, Honda, Mazda, Toyota & Entrepreneur Magazine. After being «online» for a while, she decided to take things «offline» and pursue her calling as an artist. She was part of the original crew of caricaturists who drew at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney, where she worked for Kaman’s Art Shoppes. These days, you can find Millie happily drawing thousands of faces under the Southern California sky at the Irvine Spectrum or at a special event near you.
