Meet the Business Owner
Soli B.
Business Owner
The founder of SOLI Architectural Surfaces, Soli Besharat, did not begin his entrepreneurial career with an artistic goal in mind. To please his parents he studied chemistry and attended law school but his true passion always lied with Art and architecture. During his college years he travelled around Europe, and his passion grew for classical architectural motifs, including ancient stone mosaics and pavements.
Initially, he nurtured his passion for design and art into a hobby, which then finally evolved into his current profession. Soli’s specific interest in items such as reclaimed hand-painted Majolica tiles, antique encaustic tiles, reclaimed terra cotta and limestone and Porphyry inevitably segued into the establishment of SOLI Architectural Surfaces and Solistone.
His stunning surfaces grace the homes of many celebrities and major buildings throughout the world, including the Burje Khalifa in Dubai and Antilia in Mombai.
