We service Orange County, Los Angeles County, Inland Empire, and San Diego. We are family owned and operated, licensed, bonded, and insured. We provide services to both commercial and residential projects. At StoneAge Restoration Services, Inc. we take pride in our work and strive to give the customer the best possible experience from the moment you make your phone call to us to the final detail of touch up work on your particular job. We also believe that once the job is complete, our relationship with our clients is just beginning. We are here to answer any questions regarding follow up maintenance, stone recommendations, or follow up cleaning products. Our mission and end result is to make your stone and concrete look fantastic so that you can enjoy your investment like you envisioned when it was first installed

Business Owner

Marc started out as a property manager working for some of Southern California’s largest and most demanding property management companies after graduation California State University Long Beach.

«When I graduated from Cal State Long Beach, I became employed in property management. I managed properties for retail, commercial, and public properties. I worked with many vendors and tenants over the years. I went through many vendors before I found the one that would help me maintain the properties to the highest level of service that my clients deserved. I gained valuable experience and came to learn what is expected from residential home owners, building owners and tenants in both retail and commercial projects. That experience, as a property manager, has helped me in making StoneAge Restoration into the company it is today. We are a proactive, customer service driven, and responsive company. We will continue to carve out our own „niche“ within the restoration industry.»

Stone Age Restoration just completed a large project for me. They restored my exterior stamped concrete and driveway and they also cleaned/​sealed my pool coping, pool tiles, courtyard tiles, and indoor tiles. Although some of their initial cleaning was below my expectations, their customer service was exceptional and that is why I gave them 5 stars. The owners (Marc & Art) are very friendly and very easy to work with. I was not happy initially with the cleaning of my indoor tiles/​grout. However, they assured me that they would keep cleaning until the work met my expectations or they would not charge me for it. That is the kind of service most consumers want to see from a company and Stone Age delivered. Also, their price was very competitive. Overall, very satisfied. Thanks Art, Oscar, and crew for the great work and thanks Marc and Art for the great customer service.

The man that came out seemed very professional and seemed to know what he was taking about, so I went with this company even though they were a bit pricier. The individuals that did the actual work were a completely different group that didn’t seem to know as much. Main issues:
1. The first man told me that my granite counters would be much smoother after they cleaned/​sanded it before sealing. They weren’t in any better condition after than they were before.
2. There were some holes in my traverine floor that needed patching. The holes weren’t patched very well because there is a ring of black around the perimeter of the holes. The floor was sanded and sealed also. I’ve seen other floors that got the same service done and the floors looked brand new.
At the end of it all, I feel like it was a waste of money.

Stoneage Restoration was recommended to me some time ago by a business colleague because of its high quality work and reasonable pricing. I finally called Marc to restore the beautiful stone and grout in my master bath that had been damaged from hard water. His crew did a terrific job re-​polishing the stone but initially didn’t get the grout right. Without any hesitation, Marc sent his crew out two more times until the grout was perfect. Initially, I hesitated to ask for the re-​do, but when I sent him photos and asked for his opinion, Marc immediately said that it could be better. Having spent so much money to install the stone a few years before, it is a relief to have Stoneage Restoration and Marc to help me keep it looking new. Not only was Marc terrific, his office staff and the craftsmen on his crews were wonderful.

We had our floors, countertops, and back splashes cleaned and sealed by Stone Age Restoration. Marc came to our home for the initial bid/​estimate, and after that was available for the next few days for questions in a fast, efficient, and courteous manner.
The crew came to our home and the work they did was truly outstanding. They «bent over backwards» to do everything according to our expectation and to make sure we were happy with all procedures.
They use products that are environmentally safe and non acrylic. They match the product selection to client’s expectations and take time to listen and understand what is truly important to their client.
A big thank you to Art, Gloria, Oscar Q and Nic for a job well done.

We are just adding to our review: after the job was complete, we asked Marc if they could return for some grout repairs that we forgot to bring up the first time. They are fantastic with grout repairs too, very professional and pleasant to work with. Once again Gloria, Oscar Q., and Nic did a great job!

We have had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, and needed to seal and stain some of the mistakes made. Marc gave us the best quote, was highly responsive and professional. We were delighted with the results, and appreciated the extra customer service, advice, and time the team took to get the final result exactly how we wanted it. Our travertine floor had been neglected for a long time and it made the whole downstairs look and feel depressing. I called a few companies and their quotes and time to do the work varied widely. A few even treated me like I was an idiot. Art from Stone Age Restoration was the last company. I liked his humility, the time he took to explain the process, what to expect and pictures of their other work. He had such pride in his work. Found out he was one of the owners! Their work was great! Price competitive, work completed timely and on commitment. Even came back to repatch a few holes. I will call them when I need to refinish my marble in the bathroom. Highly recommend Stone Age Restoration.

We needed our natural stone porch cleaned and resealed. The stone was dirty and dull due to bad installation from another contractor. We called about five different companies to come out and give us bids to clean the stone, strip the previous sealer off and reseal. Marc gave us the best quote by about 100.00 dollars. Plus he gave us an extra 10% off from a coupon we found in one of those home improvement mailers. I asked a bunch of questions to each person who came out to give us a bid. Marc was the only one I felt comfortable with. Everyone else seemed to be «making it up as they went.» After Marc left, I e-​mailed him with a few more questions. He responded back right away with the answers. On the day of the job Angel and Oscar came out. They were right on time! Which was very appreciated due to our busy schedule. Plus they came out on a Saturday (again very much appreciated). Angel and Oscar were professional and super nice. We had to leave our home and when we returned they had finished. Angel and Oscar left the house all cleaned up. The stone looked (and still looks) awesome. A zillion times better than before the work was done. Now we can see all the variations in the colors and can see the «veins» in the stone. Our porch looks brand new. I would definitely recommend Marc and his team in the future!

OK job … did not go above and beyond. We tried the point out a few things to fix, the workers seemed to be in a hurry to move on to the next job (even though the job is scheduled for one day).
Marc however is very nice and professional and he respond all inquiries right away. I would consider to use them again.

i called around and got a few estimates to get our marble floor cleaned and polished. It was dull and was not cleaned properly in a long time.
Marc came out and gave an estimate and art came over and worked his magic. if you need your floor clean and sparkling they do amazing work! They gave an estimate and the price never changed when it was time to pay. everything was included in the price, they repaired cracks and ships i had (a couple big ones) that were a real eyesore
fyi.i called two other company’s that came over and gave me estimates and in the end they left the estimate open due to the chipped tiles that needed to be fixed. i didn’t like that!!!
I will tell u that stone shine did everything clean/​fix the ugly discolored grout/​repair/​polish for HALF OF the Price$$$$$… of the two other places that i got estimates from =]

Dull marble floors got you down? Water stains on your counter tops? Why waste your time with all those cleaning products (cue dramatic black & white footage) and scrub and scrub with little to no results?! You need to call StoneAge Restoration (cue color shot with family smiling in background).
Marc Ruiz came to our home for the estimate. He was on-​time and professional and detailed with his explanations. Their price was reasonable for what we needed done. Arturo Solis is the guy who did the work. He was great! Our counter tops have been rejuvenated and our marble floor looks better than the day it was installed. I’m so not kidding either. It always seemed to have this annoying film over it that did not let it look as glamorous as a marble floor should be. That has all changed now and walking in our bathroom makes us feel like we are walking through South Coast Plaza. OK, maybe it is not quite that grand but the floors sure make it look that way.

I feel stoned. Not like… high stoned. I feel like I’ve been stoned to death by awful flooring. Oh yes people, bad flooring can ruin your day just as badly as horrible lighting. That’s why they say… dull marble flooring is the new florescent lighting.
You should have seen it. It was ghastly and straight out of a horror movie. Imagine impeccable marble floors newly installed, but sealed with this aweful product that just made everything not shiny. I mean, when I walk into my bathroom, I want to feel like I’m staying at the Venetian. I want to feel that smooth cold marble beneath my feet and the fabulous countertops that are naturally and carefully vained by God.
StoneAge helped make our place all shiny and new again. The way two gays invisioned this masterpiece. God, I love marble. You can stone me any time as long as I get my StoneAge fix every few years. they did a knockout job with polishing and sealing all of our natural stone. They even showed us how to do it ourselves so they don’t have to come over as often. Now that’s a mark of an honest professional service! I kinda wish they took off our fixtures before polishing the counters… that would have been a huge plus to get all the creases around the sink hardware. But that’s okay I ain’t mad at cha! It still looks bomb diggity.
If you feel stoned, you should call them. They will get your rocks looking hot!
