Thyme on Broadway opened in August of 2013 as a local café, specializing in coffee, soups, salads and sandwiches, the restaurant temperarily closed in July of 2015 and reopened in September of 2015 under new ownership. Thyme is known for great coffee and food served by energetic and friendly staff.

I used an app to look for somewhere to eat. Did NOT want another fast food burger. So we gave this place a try. What a surprise to find a very unique and tasty menu in a small town. The food was fantastic! You really need to give this a try! If you want options, definitely support this local café. You will be glad you did!

Tried this place on a Thanksgiving week visit to family and friends. On the plus side the menu is interesting and there are some out of the ordinary choices that are generally well executed. We had both the Chicken Pesto and the Ham/​Swiss/​Apple sandwich.
On the other side — staff taking orders and reading orders in the kitchen seem a bit challenged. Not the sharpest folks — order was prepared wrong, delivered to wrong table and just generally confused. The other issue was my order of the French Onion soup — the soup itself was quite good — but wasn’t prepared in the traditional style with cheese broiled on top and served with bread. That’s what I was expecting when I ordered it.
They’ve got something that has potential here — but unless the wait staff and some of the execution get it together it’s not going to get many return visits.
