After trying the Princeton Review SAT class, and not getting the results we had hoped for, we opted for private tutoring via Tutor Nerds for the ACT. Adam is super helpful in finding the right tutor, and insists that you not pay for your first session if you aren’t 100% satisfied. Highly recommend.

After talking to Adam at great length he assured me that he has the perfect tutor to meet my daughters needs. he set us up with Jeric. Jeric came to first (and ask the rest) sessioms professionally dressed, prompt, and prepared. He is a very skilled math teacher, he comes with his own teaching materials, practice problems, and worksheets all geared in areas our daughter was having hard time in. He is in constant touch with parents sending weekly/​bi weekly emails and if you email him with a question or concern he gets back to you right away. Jeric is awesome he’s made AP Calc. Theorems and formulas actually Understandable and for that we are so grateful, he is an awesome tutor. Our daughter has had 6⁄7 sessions so far and is so much more at ease with the rigorous curriculum. We highly recommend him. And thank you to Adam at tutor nerds for setting us up with Jeric.

My daughter is taking AP Calculus and needed help to prepare for a test. Fortunately, we found Tutor Nerds! I love how their tutors come to us– no need to worry about the hassle of driving somewhere to meet. We got connected us to Wesley, and man, this guy really knows his stuff. He is registered on Mensa with an IQ of 152 and graduated from Berkeley with a perfect grade point average. Apparently, he’s already a famous math tutor in Irvine who has helped many get perfect 800’s on SAT II and 5 on AP Calculus B/​C. My daughter got a 94 on the test, thanks to Tutor Nerds and Wesley! Going to be back again when we need help.

I’ve used Tutor Nerds on a couple of occasions. The first time I utilized their services was for a statistics class that I needed to obtain my BSN in nursing. I had been out of college for over 10 years and was a little embarrassed about needing the extra help; needless to say my tutor was extremely knowledgable, empathetic and made me feel very comfortable with the material. I passed the class and obtained my BSN.
2). Now this time around I’ve decided to acquire my Master’s degree in FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) and I had to take this pesky little research class and I wasn’t quite sure if Tutor Nerds would be able to help me, in no time at all I was able to research dependent vs Independent analysis, inductive analysis and cohort studies; things of that nature. So if you ever question if Tutor Nerds is the right company or whether they can help you, my answer is: YES they can, and YES. they will!!!

I called Tutornerds half way through r the school year because my son was having difficulty with high school chemistry. My initial conversation was with Adam. He was professional and understood exactly what my son needed. Adam made the arrangements for an educator to come to our home. After Nick’s first visit Adam made a follow up call to make sure we were happy. Nick, the tutor, was respectful, enthusiastic and punctual (most of the time)! I contacted TutorNerds because I needed immediate help with an online college algebra course. They were extremely professional and returned my call promptly. I explained that I needed to meet with a tutor by the following day in order to make my assignment deadline. I figured I might be out of luck due to short notice, but no — TutorNerds had someone available to meet with me right away. I met my tutor, Ross, the following morning and I couldn’t have been more impressed. He is so kind and patient with me, and has such a great disposition, that I never feel anxious or rushed. His ability to explain concepts in a way that I’ll actually grasp them is seriously amazing. Honestly, working on math usually brings me to tears of frustration. I am happy to say that hasn’t happened. Ross makes sure you understand the concepts you’re working on so when your session is over, you aren’t left wondering how to complete the next problems on your own. Having a personal tutor has been so much more beneficial than the free tutoring offered at my school; there I never had their full attention and was constantly rushed. Calling TutorNerds is the best investment I’ve made in my education. With Ross’s help I feel confident I will pass this class. I highly recommend them — and Ross!

My daughter is in Honors Chemistry and wanted someone to help her develop an even better understanding of the subject, aside from what she was learning in class. Tai from TutorNerds has provided her with a tremendous amount of insight and knowledge. His grasp of the subject (and all of the math, too) is incredible. He works so easily and naturally with her, giving her insight into the subject, as well as testing strategies. He’s also an incredibly kind person. The managers of the company have also always been professional and accommodating. I highly recommend them.

Used their private test preparation services for my 11th grader. He prepared for and took both the SAT and ACT tests with great success. TutorNerds had two of their test prep tutors at our home twice a week for about 2 months. My son ended up scoring above 2100 on the SAT and a 33 on the ACT. We will also prepare for an SAT subject test and AP Tests this spring. Our tutors are very professional, extremely knowledgeable and my son enjoys their instruction.

I searched high and low for the right tutors for my children. I asked other people, I asked the schools and it would lead me no where. Meanwhile time is going by and nothing worked either the people who were recommended didn’t get through and help my children or they just didn’t show up. My children seriously needed some tutoring. Reluctantly I searched online, I found the name Tutor nerds and gave it a try, told them what subjects my daughter needed help in and the first professional tutor came to our rescue. I can tell you that whole process was very professional and they actually helped my daughter after the first session. They will meet you at the library or your house or office. They showed my daughter how important it was to be organized by being organized themselves. First question was when are your test dates and tutor quickly added these to his calendar. They got her to understand her subject. Her grades have greatly improved and I am very thankful that I found tutor nerds. I would recommend them to schools, parents, children anyone looking for some great help.

My niece was struggling with reading and sadly it was incredibly discouraging to her. As an educator, I tried to help her but soon realized she needed someone else to sit with her. Tutornerds not only helped her raise her grades, but the help also gave her back her confidence. She did so well on her last report card that her parents decided to also get her tutored in math for extra reinforcement. Tutor Nerds have been helping my kids for over 3 years. The staff is very friendly and trust worthy. I have had several different tutors from other places. But tutor nerds are college educated and really know how to make my kids 11 and 17 happy.
My 17 year old is doing SAT prep work and has had a tremendous improvement on his Math and English. You can get a cheap tutor or a Kumon, but TutorNerds Really works.
Also all the time they spend with my kids is very flexible and they come to our house.
