Friendly people, cut your hair much better than other places around Irvine. Could be a bit cleaner though.

Whoever said that Cheryl(the blonde lady) doesn’t listen to you and doesn’t have younger customers is wrong. I’ve been going to her for over 3 years now and I specifically only go to her because she knows exactly what she’s doing. In fact, she convinced me to change my hairstyle from just a regular buzz cut to now a professional grown out look and now I couldn’t be happier with it. She’s really sweet and always makes great conversation! She always works with me to try to fit me into her schedule even when she may not have enough time. I highly recommend her and will continue to go to her for as long as I live here!

Great to have a Barber. More of us just want haircuts. See Cheryl or Jim. Professional and mature adult oriented.

Cheryl is a true professional! I’m going to refer my son and all his college friends. She’s a pleasure and did a great job when I stopped in.

Ive been getting my hair cut, mostly by Bill Wills for near 45 yrs at this shop, and will continue potentially for another 40+ yrs I hope. Although there is much less of it to cut today!

Do NOT get your hair cut by the blonde lady. She doesn’t listen and only cuts your hair how she wants it. I think she is so used to cutting older gentleman’s hair(most of their customers seem to be 50+) she cannot do a younger, more contemporary cut. You MUST ask for Tina! Tina is the Asian lady and can do anything you ask for, she will never let you down! I paid $ 18 for a standard haircut(Saturday) plus tip. I would happily pay $ 25 for the cut — as long as it was from Tina!!!

This is my first review on Unilocal and I felt like I had to write this because of the terrible haircut I received. My hair is uneven on both sides, my collar is full of hair since they took no precautions to prevent it from getting all over me. The gentleman took no more than 5 minutes to cut my hair and it shows. I can’t believe this place has 3.5 stars. Worst haircut I have ever received.

I had a hair cut before edc by the Asian lady. Pros– no lines on weekday Cons– Terrible hygiene practice Cash only Uneven hair cut This place is in a nice are but the quality of care in this establishment does not reflect the area in any way. After she was done cutting hair of an older gentleman she flipped her fabric and tied it on me which had all of this white hair on my black clothes. Very disgusting. Looks like no sterilization was made to any of her tools or equipment. Will never come back or refer to friends and family.

Today I cut my hair with the Asian lady and it was perfect. I think her name is Tina. She do whatever you want, exactly as you asked for. She is good doing military cuts

I have lived in Irvine since 1983 and have been a regular at this neighborhood gem. From Bill, to Jim, Cheryl and all the rest the folks here are great.

Haircut is uneven. Asian lady seemed in a hurry for other customers. Very low hygiene(she didn’t even wash my hair before and after the haircut.) 16 $ for a very basic haircut. A complete waste of time and money.

Came in the shop in the very last minute today, but even though, those ladies barbers were very nice and they did a fast service and my hair came out looking great, I’m very happy, and for sure I’ll come back again.

Great place to get a haircut. When you get there, be sure to ask for Cheryl. She does an awesome job at cutting all kinds of hair. When she gives her customers a fade it is always top notch. She always makes me feel right at home whenever I sit down in her chair. Every barber does a great job of cutting hair quick and efficiently. Every time I leave this shop I know I am looking sharp!

16 dollars for a very average haircut ⋯ asked for a taper from 1 – 2 and a combover. Didn’t even use scissors on top. The shape of my hair looked a little square. Will probably look for someplace better.

Great place and even better barbers! They all obviously know what they’re doing but Cheryl always does an AMAZING job. Highly recommend her. Great conversation and she understands what I want every time.

Ask for Tina, everyone else does a good job but she is just fantastic. It’s nice to find someone who takes the time to make your hair look great without rushing though it.

I just came here cause my hair was getting a little crazy and I needed a simple fade on both sides, I got the Vietnamese woman… probably cause I was Asian, but she did a pretty decent job. aside from being the only student/non-stereotypical-white-senior the environment was pretty nice to. Id definitely come back here to try a more complicated cut at some point in the near future

My absolute favorite barber shop – I stop in whenever I’m down in Irvine. These men and woman offer great men’s cuts at $ 16, and have been doing it for decades. Definitely give them a shot!

Just had my first experience here and it was the best haircut I have ever had. Who knew my haircut could look so good? Hint: it might have something to do with the fact that the lady who cut my hair has almost 30 years experience! She took her time, did a great job! They are always very busy so I highly recommend that you call first and make an appointment. Otherwise if you just show up when they are busy be prepared to wait 45 minutes or more(like any other good barbershop). The only advice I would give the barbers is to greet, wave or smile to people when they walk in or have the receptionist girl sit up front near the front door so that they can answer any questions that new people may have when it is their first time in.

Never ever go to this barber! And if you go by mistake, stay from a lady who is in her 40s. She did not take more than 3 minutes to cut my hair and she was in a real hurry to get done with her customers waiting in line. It was like she did not care how the end result was and whether they are satisfied or not. I want to use blunt language but guess I do not want to be like that and be harsh. One advice: Stay away!!!
