Some of the stuff they sell are old stocks — not even 1 day old but probably older. Hopia are hard as a rock, pandesal with filling is 95% pandesal and 5% of filling — wow ! I will never bring my business here

Not worth the money! You can not see nor taste the filling of their hopia. It is all crusts!!! Same for the empanada. It is all tough, hard crust. You need to use a magnifying glass to see the filling!

I was waiting on my orders for Jollibee so decided to check this place out. I got their pandesal(beef, corn beef and adobo) and tuna empanada. Of the four items, I think their abodo pandesal tastes the best. Others were just OK.

I always buy pandesal here, they have fresh warm bread. But today, they have their breads and the person on the cashier insisted the costumer to get pre packed even the costumers including myself requested the one that is newly baked. So sad that instead of giving costumer satisfaction to attract more patrons they just giving the bussiness negative feedback !

I wish I could give this place a better rating but whenever I come here the okoy isn’t ready and that is only reason why I come here. I’ve had the bread here and other pastries and they are delicious but they don’t have a lot of the fried desserts, or fried foods in general, ready when they have been open for a few hours already.

Horrible customer service, I would almost go as far as saying racist. Their was a long line which is fine and when I got to the front I said hello in English. The lady at the counter ignored me. She then proceeded to talk to the people behind me in ilocano. At first I was ok maybe they had a preorder or something. Then she cont bird to assist 3 more people behind who spoke ilocano. I said hello again and tried to order and she proceeded to go around me. Very unprofessional, will contact the better business bureau as well. We don’t need racist people like this.

I am from Atlanta Georgia, I visited my sister in California and she told me about having Valerio’s in Irvine. I got wowed because finally they opened one close to my sister’s place :). I really liked pandesal and okoy it’s the best. Thanks Valerio’s for opening one at Irvine. Goodluck to you and your staffs.

They have the same name as the Valerio’s in West Covina but their pan de sal is nothing like the one in West Covina. West Covina’s is the BEST. That’s too bad since Irvine is so much closer. I’ll just have to stock up on pan de sal and stick it in the freezer whenever I’m in West Covina.

Their empanada is bomb dot com! Best empanada ever out of all filipino bakeries I’ve been to. It’s not greasy because it is baked. I’ve called ahead of time before leaving to make sure they have what I want and they run out fast. Karioka is something very popular that sells out pretty quick. It’s a donut served on a stick. Very yummy and sweet. When I went this morning I asked for Turon and the lady said that they sold out already(I came around 9; store opened at 8) which was very surprising. Lesson learned: go early!

This place was okay, nothing spectacular. I picked up a couple of items from this bakery such as Hopia Langka, Veggie Lumpia, Chicken Empanada, and a Banana Lumpia type of eggroll. The best thing was the Banana Lumpia, it was glazed and crunchy and was really good. Nothing else was memorable. I’ve had better empanadas elsewhere, as they one that have here has too much crust and not enough chicken filling. If I come back, I’d definitely get the Banana Lumpia.

This is their Irvine location inside Seafood City. Love their spanish bread, turon and empanada. My go-to store for all my Pinoy carb fix.
