Boardwalk ObGyn

Dr Chessir has been my ObGyn since my first son 13 years ago. I kept coming back to her because she is so sweet, and makes you feel comfortable. A big plus for me. She made going on BC [iud] painless and worry free. I was so nervous but I knew I was in good hands. She explains everything to me in great detail and always asks about my boys which she delivered. My youngest is 11 now so it’s pretty cool she still knows and asks for them by name. I love this office and will forever be a returning patient.

Dr. Chessir is a good doctor in person, but this office is a total nightmare to deal with. The receptionists are rarely available when you call in; and 90% of the time you are left leaving a voicemail for the nurse staff which goes unreturned. I have been waiting four days for their office to make a small change to my BC prescription allowing me to pick up more months at a time for insurance reasons; and my pharmacy still hasn’t received any response from them after multiple times trying to contact.

Dr. Chesshir is amazing!!! She is so kind, patient, and cheerful. She’s always got a smile on her face! She will sit and chat with you, ask about your life, and answer any questions you might have. She is wonderful. I live in north Plano and drive 25 minutes to Irving to see her. If you are looking for an obgyn, check out Dr. Chesshir! You will love her! :)

Dr. Ellis is amazing! She is a well-​educated, warm and dedicated doctor. She was my OB for my first pregnancy and was incredibly helpful and supportive! I was having difficulties toward the end of my first pregnancy and Dr. Ellis gave me all the information I needed about making an informed decision regarding my baby’s birth. I ended up having a C-​section and as a surgeon, she is incredible! I had very little pain and you can barely see my scar! When I was having problems getting pregnant with my second child, she was just as wonderful, giving me options and suggestions about getting pregnant again. I am finally expecting my second child and am looking forward to «working» with Dr. Ellis again.
Dr. Ellis’ office staff is also very caring and nice, they know my name and even my daughter’s name. They are very sweet to her and don’t mind when I bring her to the office for my prenatal visits. I have never had an issue with billing or with scheduling appointments and in an emergency, have been able to get an appointment at short notice.

I’ve started seeing Dr. Ellis here and she’s awesome. I originally booked an appt off ZocDoc and it gave me some pretty early options to come in as opposed to calling in the offices and then always having to wait 2 weeks. The office is easy to find, warmly decorated and the staff is nice as well. I’ll write an updated review once I have more interaction here.
