I was in and out in about 10 minutes, I wanted to get my upper lip threaded and didn’t have time to hit up my normal salon. I’ve been doing this for years and have become used to it, but this was one of the more painful experiences I’ve had. I actually got a small cut on my upper lip… not exactly the place you want to potentially scar.
It was quick and cheap but after how painful that experience was I don’t think that I would do my eyebrows here.

Laxmi is gone! For last couple of months, they kept saying she is out of town/​country. But recently I came to know, she has left. :(. I want to give other ladies a chance, but cannot take risks with eyebrows. Maybe waxing can be done.
The last time I got my eyebrows threaded, they were done okay. NOT so great. But manageable.
I will be here only for emergent needs or I have no other option. The fact this place has a convenient location, has gotten the 3rd star.

Quick, affordable, and nearly painless eyebrow threading! Highly interested in going back for henna tattoos. Only downside is that it tends to get hot and a little crowded in the shop.

I’ve been here a few times and you definitely get what you pay for. $ 5 is definitely a deal for eyebrow threading but the last time i was in there, the lady who did my eyebrows hands reeked of whatever she had eaten for lunch. I kept telling myself the threading would go by quickly but the smell was terrible. Laxmi used to be my go-​to but I think she’s gone and the other ladies aren’t very friendly and you definitely have to tell them you want to keep your eyebrows thick otherwise they will thread too thin. Don’t think I will be back again unless it’s an emergency

Loved this place! I don’t have to wait long and the threading process doesn’t take long either. I like my eyebrows thick and they never thread them too thin. I’m sad that I am moving and can’t come here anymore :(

I walked in and was immediately able to sit down to get my first eyebrow tint ever. It was a little scary but they did them exactly like I would like, and then offered threading for $ 5 additional which I couldn’t turn down. Reasonably priced and very good quality! I also had to get a henna tattoo while I was there which turned out great! Definitely my new favorite spot and I will keep going back.

Laxmi use to tread my eyebrows! I’ve been back several times over the last few months and and she hasn’t been here, they keep saying she’s out of town. I’m starting to think she’s left and they just aren’t telling her regular customers. Does anyone know if she still works here?

They just raised their eyebrows prices from $ 4 to $ 5. I paid with card so they charged me $ 6 without telling me that would be the charge. They had a sign hidden about the credit card charge where no one can see it. The threaders are great especially the lady who did mine but wasn’t happy with the whole card charge

First time here. The location on MacArthur and Kinwest is just too convenient to not stop by and try at least once. I was sort of greeted when I walked in, signed my name on the list and waited for no longer than 5 minutes. I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm so it wasn’t too busy and there were only 2 people ahead of me. I forgot to ask the name of my threader (so sad because she was really good) but made sure to tell her I just wanted a clean up and to keep the thickness of my brows. I was nervous after reading several reviews about their brows being too thin. She did an excellent job and I will be returning. Staff isn’t overly friendly and I didn’t really expect them to be, they do their job and they do it quickly. Only $ 5 if paying with cash, you can’t really beat that price.

I was very disappointed with the final result. I have gaps in my eyebrow. Which the technician also pointed out. I’ve been getting my brows threaded for many years and this has been the worst service ever. I was still expected to pay full price.

I love coming here to get my eyelash extensions! The tech was so patient with my fluttering eyes (thanks to the caffeine), and was so nice! $ 25 + tip for eyelash extensions is insanely affordable. If you went anywhere else for the same service, you would be paying double or triple the price!

I’m so happy I found this place so close to work! I’ve had my eyebrows threaded at Just Strings in Towneast mall for years, but since I found this place I haven’t been back.
Convenient location with plenty of parking around. I’ve gone during lunch time and after work and it’s never too busy so I am usually seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The threaders are very nice and even throw in a little eyebrow massage/​temple rub afterwards.
They also do henna tattoos here, which I’d like to try some time. My only suggestion is be very specific with what you’re looking for, they once left my eyebrows too thin. It may be useful if they asked before they started working on it. I recommend this salon highly to anyone looking to have their eyebrows threaded!

You know that awkward feeling of doubt and skepticism you feel before you go to a new eyebrow threading joint? Definitely felt the skepticism before walking in here.
I actually went during my lunch break expecting it to be packed and I would have to wait and be annoyed, but it wasn’t packed. There were a couple of customers before me but the traffic was moving pretty quickly. I finally got my caterpillars on my face tamed within a timely manner and they were #ONFLEEK. Also, prices are fantastic and affordable for anyone that needs to choose between five cheeseburgers at McDonalds or a quick eyebrow threading. Very impressed and satisfied! I’ll definitely be back!

Bollywood hooked up my eyebrows and my eyelashes and it was only $ 20 bucks! I didn’t know they offered eyelashes, so I was surprised to find they did, and a fill was only $ 15. They used bundles instead of individuals as I had previously but after they finished, it blended just fine. They also do hair and facials and I’m coming back later this week for eyebrow tinting. So excited o found this place. Great prices, no appointment necessary and the girls are cool.

Zero for boys!
I stepped in, checked into the register as per instructions by one of the hair stylist and was asked to wait.
After 40 minutes another hair stylist came and told that none of the hairstylist’s at the moment knows how to do a scissor haircut so I might again want to come back and check on Saturday.
Wow…I missed my volley ball game just to see ladies getting their eyebrows done.

I like this place alot! My friend told me about the cheap eyebrow threading. I was a little nervous to go because the threading is $ 5 (6 if you posy with a card). The price just ended up being an extra perk on top of the great threading provided! I loved my eyebrows! The lady that did mine, her name was Laxmi. All the ladies were nice! Great service. I gave it 4 stars because I got my lashes (individuals) done there ($ 25) & they were okay. Not the best I’ve ever had but it will do. The place I usually go to was booked and I desperately needed them done!
You won’t be disappointed coming here!

I came here for threading because I was told my favorite lady at styles of India no longer works there, I thought I would check this place out.
I have blonde hair so I understand my brows can be tricky, the first thing I told the lady was PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THEM THINNER, just clean them up.
I have been left with a completely different brow shape and appearance. They are so thin it makes me sad, I just pray they grow back to their previous fullness, I’ve heard they don’t always grow back :(
I am so upset at the complete disregard for my own requests about my brows…

This review is just for the arm waxing. The honey wax was different than other places and not in a good way. The person who waxed me rushed through it and left spots of hair all over. She had to re do it twice and still I could see spots. I finally just gave up, paid, and left. The wax left over wasn’t even removed properly and I was sticky the car ride home.
Their prices are fair which is why they are getting more than 1 star but I won’t be returning for obvious reasons… I’ll stick to Styles of India from now on for waxing.
