Flowers Of Las Colinas

It was almost a year ago to day that we picked up the most beautiful arrangement from Flowers of Las Colinas. It was for my parents 60^th anniversary. I gave them a general description of what I wanted and they gave me far more than I had expected. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful, even on a busy Mother’s Day weekend.
The flowers were beyond beautiful and they lasted for a very long time. My mother was thrilled and that is all that was important!

I hadn’t found a florist in Dallas area since my daughter recently moved to the area and took a chance and sent flowers for her birthday. They were delivered on time and they were beautiful! She said they made the whole office smell great! I will definitely use them again!

I received flowers from here in November 2015 — they were very pretty but someone taped the base of the flowers to the vase (which was delicate and painted) creating damage.
I called to see if I could receive a replacement vase and they were out of stock of the one I received but they ordered more and hand delivered it to my office.

This place is wonderful. Very accommodating, kind and considerate. I came in very for a last minute arrangement for a funeral and they were more than helpful. They created exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. Special thanks to Athena who I felt went above and beyond and with so much kindness. Would definitely recommend this floral shop.

My husband has bought flowers from here several times. Each time they are so big and beautiful. They deliver to my work and they are always so fresh and arranged so beautifully. I’ve received flowers through other companies and they tend to be squished somewhere in the arrangement — but not these, always looking great. And the balloons are always a great addition. I can’t vouch for the cost (I would never ask how much he spends) but I can tell you as the receiver — it is well worth it. I see pictures of arrangements on line and then when they are received it’s quite deceiving. But Flowers of Las Colinas delivers what they promise, really. And speaking to some of the other reviews — Flowers of Las Colinas has delivered on the right day and before 1 pm each time for me.

Can I give «0» stars? Was a walk in customer– I asked for a specific item of which I needed 4 of them. I and asked them to show me what it would look like before I paid for them. What they showed was a acceptable– nothing fancy mind you… then 10 minutes later some other lady came up and said we can’t do that for you — the price now is twice as much. Ridiculous! I asked for my money back– which she gave me. I live across the street from this place– But I will NEVER EVER step foot in that establishment AGAIN. Tom Thumb floral department is right Next Door!

Bad experience! I wish I had read the other Unilocal reviews before I used this flower shop.
I had ordered online, a bouquet of flowers, along with a mylar balloon and a stuffed animal, to be delivered to my girlfriend at her work as a surprise for her birthday. It wasn’t delivered until right at 5pm, so I ended up having to tell her about it so she could stay late to wait for them… so much for getting flowers in front of the co-workers…anyway, when they arrived, there was no mylar balloon or stuffed animal with it (which I had paid an extra $ 20 for)!
I went to their store the very next morning to voice my complaints and get my $ 20 refunded… which they did.
I would HIGHLY recommend using a different florist. …just read the rest of the reviews of this place on Unilocal and you’ll see that this place isn’t very good.

The cardinal sin of a florist: they did not deliver on the date promised, and missed someone’s special day.
Inexcusable. Avoid at all costs.

I specified when the flowers were to be delivered, they were not delivered at that time. I called the flower shop and spoke to Barbara Ferris who just happens to be the owner. I told her the flowers were not delivered and to just cancel my order if they were not there on time and that I would never use them again. Barbara’s response to me was, that’s fine and then I told her she was being VERY rude, she HUNG UP on me. Very poor business and customer service practices. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Positive experience. Kristie made a bridal bouquet with a walk in last minute request. Very helpful. Beautiful done. Reasonably priced. Allowed us to walk in the back cooler to pick our flowers. Thank you.

Horrible customer service, owner is very rude and uncaring, quality of flowers is horrible. Save your money and buy flowers at Walmart because I guarantee they will look nicer and not as ugly. The arrangement that was sent looked nothing at all like the beautiful flowers in the picture, instead it looked tiny, cheap, and very ugly. When I spoke to the owner about the delivery arriving late, she lied and said no time was specified. The owner was unapologetic of the late delivery and blamed me for not specifying a delivery time. Unbelievable. No wonder her business is failing!

I ordered flowers from FTD through a florist in Indiana for a funeral that was taking place in Irving, Texas. I ordered a cross that had carnations and red roses. I guess maybe they thought that I would not show up for the funeral, but I did. The wake was from three o’clock to nine o’clock and my flowers did not arrive until seven o’clock that night. The roses were falling out of the arrangement and it looked terrible. The next day, my arrangement wasn’t available at the church or the cemetery. When I asked the funeral home, they informed me they didn’t know where it came from and the cross was broken and they had to fix the arrangement before they displayed it. They apologized for the way it looked but said they tried to fix it the best they could. They said they could not bring it to the church because it wasn’t put together well. They had no idea why it wasn’t at the cemetery. The worst part is that there was no card showing our names, so if we weren’t there, the family would not ever know who sent that arrangement. This flower arrangement cost $ 276 and yet it just mysteriously showed up at the funeral home who claims they had no idea where it came from. If I bought a piece of furniture for that amount of money and it was broken, I would have returned it. I truly believe that these florists should also be held accountable for the arrangements that are sent in their trust. It is bad enough to deal with death let alone knowing how badly the flowers were that I sent. Hopefully, you never have to go through the frustration that I went through.

Had flowers delivered for a friend’s birthday. The flowers that were delivered were an entirely different color scheme, and an unattractive one at that, from those pictured on the website. When I called and mentioned that I was unsatisfied, the person on the phone was less than helpful. I made the effort to call this shop directly instead of ordering through Teleflora, because I wanted the benefit of personalized service and a local florist. Like someone else on here mentioned, I should’ve read the Unilocal reviews first.

Three mistakes with one order!
1. The flowers were supposed to arrive on the Friday before Valentine’s Day — they didn’t make it till the following Monday.
2. I called to make a complaint and was told someone would call me back — no one ever did.
3. When I followed-​up the owner (after three days of no returned call) she was rude and dismissive.
Buyer beware!

I have ordered flowers from here through
. They have been consistently late. I finally meet one of the delivery drivers and she tells me that if I order directly through Las Colinas it will improve my delivery time.
I order 2 dozen long-​stemmed rose for my wife for our Anniversary and the flowers never arrived. When I called, I was told by Barbara that they had over 100 orders for the day and somehow my flowers were last. What???
I am officially looking for another florist that can convey my wishes in a professional and on-​time manner. You should too.

WOW I should of read the damn reviews before i paid! Bad service ever!!! What a freaken waste of 80.00!!! It was for my mothers birthday! and They want to wait last minute to deliver? Seriously no go to a different flower place bc this one does not give not one care in the world for flowers. The pictures on the site are not like the flowers delivered

I went on a whim and bought a birthday bouquet to be delivered to a friend, the website was quick and easy at least. But the flowers didn’t arrive till almost 4 when I told them my friend was leaving at 3:30 exactly. They said they would accommodate and get them there ASAP. They arrived almost 20 minutes late and the arrangement was less than fabulous unlike my friend. Wilted and sad looking for 75 bucks upon being late. I love flowers but will not be recommending this place to anyone or returning. Better luck on your flower hunt!

We did NOT get what was paid for. This was a ProFlowers SECOND attempt to send my an arrangement for our first wedding anniversary. The first order went to Irving Community Florist. Stay away from them as well. Their bouquet was actually worse thank the one from Flowers of Las Colinas. ProFlowers used to send their own flowers in a ProFlowers box and they are now just farming the orders out to ANY local florist. The bouquets that were sent were cheap and sloppy and nowhere near worth the $ 60 my husband spent on an upgraded PREMIUM bouquet. Stay away from these people, Irving Community Florist and ProFlowers!!!

I got flowers delivered from here for my birthday. The flowers began to die and wilt by day 2. Then come to find out the sender said I was suppose to receive chocolates and a balloon which I did not. Sender had to call store and my chocolates and a half deflated balloon arrived 2 days late. I called to complain and they redelivered out less flowers than in my originally arrangement and the balloon was appropriate for a 5 year old’s birthday, not for an adult. The apology note that the store sent with redelivery was a poor attempt for making a bad situation worse. I would NOT recommend using this flower shop!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

THESE people came up to my job, to correct their garbage prior flower arrangement. They asked for the old arrangement, which they were supposed to pick up f. another location. They wouldn’t leave until I gave the corrected flowers back… AT MY PLACE OF WORK!!! THEY blew up my phone from reception/​would not leave my job until the corrected flowers they dropped off were given back to them.
TRASHY…TRASHY…TRASHY business with GARBAGE flowers/​weeds.
