The rooms have been drastically improved since the last reviews on Unilocal.It appears that the management has listened. The breakfast is what you would expect at any other hotel free breakfast. As far as airplane noise I either slept through it or it was nonexistent. But they could update the mattresses because they are horrible.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dumped here by American Airlines because their crappy planes had mechanical delays.
The noisy, worn out AC/​Heater woke me up every time it kicked on. The shower doesn’t drain. Poorly functioning toilet. Bath towels thin as paper towels. Worst soap bars ever.
In general, appears very worn and run down.
Girl at check-​in desk was polite.
Avoid this one unless there’s nowhere else to go.

This place sucks.
— WiFi is spotty, 7 access points that randomly go in and out — and max speed on the strongest signal was 0.7 down, and 0.4 up — so business users and Netflix fans will be out of luck.

— shower head sprayed water everywhere, entire pipe through wall rotated as well.
— floor to ceiling ac unit that served double duty to drown out the overhead air traffic — was literally that loud
— had one of their kitchenette rooms. 1 glass, 2 coffee mugs, 2 bowls, 3 saucers, 1 plate, some silver. Basically looked like what was left over from a yard sale.
— crappy fluorescent light bulbs everywhere in the room — dim, off tone, absolutely depressing
— neither end entry door key slot works. Must enter through lobby every time, unless you prop the door open — even then seems to be roving hall patrol who will kick out the rock, and then stare and point around to the lobby entrance, even as you’re showing your card and mouthing «I’m staying here»
— happy hour is sad hour — usually 3 or 4 mixed beers and a plastic juice pitcher of warm wine, microwave snacks
— I heard a guy in the breakfast line say he hadn’t seen those eggs since the army, didn’t elaborate — assuming that’s a shitty thing, since the eggs were watery and tasteless.
I don’t know, this place could be really nice, but all the little things that get on your nerves while traveling are present here — would almost rather stay in a shit hole just to find pleasant surprises — running water, no hooker under the bed, niccccceeeee…

I can’t complain about the service because the people working were pretty nice to me. Let it be known that I woke up and crushed a cockroach with my bare foot. Never again. Please avoid this place at ALL COSTS.

BEWARE!!! This place was/​is a nightmare. There’s many other places to stay near dfw that are a lot better. The guy behind counter had very rude attitude.
Let’s start with checking in, got the keys, went to my room and they don’t work. I go back down get a new set of key cards for the room and same thing, they don’t work. I go back down tell the girl again she asked me all these questions like I was lying so she brings new keys and maintence key and goes up w me. Keys dont work again. Finally she let’s my mother and I in w the maintence key. She says she will brb w another key that works, never see her again. we felt like hostages.
The alarm clock didn’t w, mind you I was waking up at 3:45am to catch my flight.
The phone didn’t work next to the bed, no dial tone nothing when I push buttons. I see the phone in bathroom, call front desk for wake up call at 3:45am and let them know about the situation again. She keeps me on hold for 10 minutes before I hang up,. I’m pretty sure they forgot about me because no one called back.
Luckily I was smart enough to set alarm on my cell because there was no wake up call.
There’s a bed bug/​flea problem, I got home to find about 20 bites.
I call the manager Mark the next day, had to call 4 – 5 times to get a hold of the guy. Another rude person. He tells me he can sign me up for points and 5k free points. I said comp my room, he says he can’t because I booked through Expedia. I have no clue if that’s true or not so I wasn’t going to argue I told him I would just have to write a review. He says he will comp a room for me next time however it expires in 3 months. Not going to work for me, he then says just give him a call when I want it. I told him I doubt he will remember so he insists and takes down email address. I thought that was very strange and can’t ever have my mother or myself stay at such a terrible place and never want to even see that hole again.

This hotel was provided to us free of charge by American Air since they delayed our flight to the next morning. The hotel is old and outdated. The workers were even less friendly and basically had the «I don’t give a Sh** about you» attitude.
I was waiting in the lobby for our pizza delivery and while waiting a huge cockroach landed on my foot. Ugh Gross! I looked around and found another dead cockroach to the side of the couch I was sitting on. Wow!
Their shuttle service is on a timed schedule which is about every hour only. They require you to reserve in advance at the front sign in. We left on time for the 9am shuttle and our driver was friendly so that deserved a star.
I don’t think I would stay at this hotel again unless we were forced to.

Woah… I mean WOAH… Really? For the rate I paid this should have been at par with a Hampton Inn. To be honest, I don’t think there was anything worthy of a positive review. The entire hotel was dated and came with a welcoming mildew stench. No A/​C running in the lobby or corridors really?!? This is Dallas where 100° is common any day during the summer. The elevator was broken which made me walk to the end of the hotel and trek up the 3 flights of stairs which could also be used as a sauna. The room was poorly laid out and felt like it wasn’t fully cleaned in weeks. I am just glad the sheets were clean where I only had to sleep 4 hours. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 1 star is because I didn’t see any rats or cockroaches.
Make your reservation if you dare.

Room was clean. Furnishings were a little worn. Bed was comfy. Towels were a discrace. Super thin. The soap was aweful/​cheap. Wasnt a terrible place, just lower-​end then what I expected. Think Motel 6.

Disgusting! This place was so bad (look at all the other reviews) that I didn’t even stay there. It REEKED of old cooking odors and mildew. The room was dilapidated. Just simply gross and disgusting. Here’s the best part. I’ve been trying to get a refund since I actually never stayed there for the past 2 weeks. Every single time I call (a total of 6 times now), I’m told the manager is «not available». No, the staff isn’t friendly or professional.
They are incompetent and apologetic with NO actions. I am tired of being told «today is my first day». I don’t care. And that’s even more reason to let the manager deal with it. Not keep blowing me off and telling me «I’ll give you a call back by the end of the day» (Gabriel Morales). Had to get their corporate office involved in NJ (973−733−6000, option 2 and 2) just to expedite something as simple as a refund. STILL NOT RESOLVED. Don’t ever pre-​pay a hotel in full, non-​refundable. You are gambling with your money and more than likely, you will lose.

This hotel is pretty dirty. The carpets are stained (even in the lobby) the paint is coming off the walls. My bathroom toilet in my room wouldn’t flush. It seems extremely outdated. They have a shuttle to and from the airport which is nice but the van they use is filthy. The staff were pleasant enough and they do have free breakfast. My flight was delayed and that’s the only reason I stayed here. If it wasn’t free I would never have stayed at this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are big, but the service hasn’t been stellar. We are here for business training. When we got here, the conference room wasn’t set up at all. The printer needed a good talking to in order to print anything. And the elevator is incredibly slow! I would stay here again if someone paid my way, but not otherwise.

Rooms are basic but large, clean, airport view so nothing special but the front desk gentleman was great, very helpful and patient. Plus ! They give free alcohol and sodas (wine and beer, unlimited at that) and food (appetizers) ! What hotel does that !?? I’ve traveled all over and to many hotels from 3 stars to the highest quality. I am astonished at this Dallas airport hotel. And will visit again !

I stayed here for one night on a recent visit to Dallas. The hotel looked outdated and needed significant renovation. The bed comforter and the couch all had stains. This hotel reminded me of one of those roadside motels in movies where people get killed– definitely not the feeling I want to have when I travel.

No recommendation for this place. 1 star is generous! Stayed overnight after American Airlines cancelled our flight on June 17^th. Got vouchers so didn’t have to pay. Had to wait over an hour for the shuttle even after calling 3 times (Admirals Club called the 1^st time and was assured the shuttle ran every 15−20″). When we brought this up the front desk guy suggested we were not in the right area but my husband showed pictures. He then said that the driver went by twice and we just didn’t see him. Not true! We were keeping our eyes peeled! Things got pretty tense as he was suggesting we were lying. No apologies offered by this guy. We then got put into a room with an AC that rattled on & off all night VERY LOUDLY every 10″. This guy needs a lesson in customer service. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. It would be in this review for all to note!

I had a great experience here after many hotels were booked.
Was a one man crew working the night shift who did a great job getting guests checked in.
Price was cheaper than most around.
Room was big and accommodating to my needs. If you need a bigger room this place has them and they were nice in my opinion.
Hotel shuttle to airport is on time and works very well.
I had a great experience, not a bad hotel in anyway. This would be a good choice for anyone staying near the airport.

I staying here overnight due to a canceled flight. The staff has been friendly and accomodating, but the actual accommodations leave quite a bit to be desired. There are bare patches on the hallway carpet, the sink plug doesn’t actually work, the handles are falling off of the dresser, and the toilet smelled sort of awful. At least the room is reasonably sized.
For a quick overnight stay, it’s fine, but it definitely wouldn’t be my choice if given options.

Inside the Air conditioner in our room looks like it got m_​_​_​_​thats why i didnt turn it on. Out side hiding under the bushes are used up tiles from their constructions, our lamp was not working. Comforter got ink.
People are good though.

Sorry to break the chain or 1 and 2 Stars but… my experience was different. Maybe because this is my field and I see it in a different perspective???
After a horrendous 14 hour flight, a 1 Hour travel from the plane itself through customs, and then another hour of waiting for boarding… American Airlines trolls me by saying «FLIGHT IS CANCELLED!» Great. Of course, they paid for this hotel, directed me to the shuttle area to be picked up, and told me to call them to schedule a shuttle pick-​up.
I called the hotel, told them where I was and asked for the shuttle to come. 20 – 30 minutes later the shuttle shows up. They did tell me it would take 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive so that was expected. Once the shuttle showed up, the driver helped me load the baggage and we were on our way to the hotel.
The front desk staff was nice. It was a quick and easy check-​in and she even showed sympathy for the hardships at the airport. She provided me with a toothbrush and toothpaste as requested without a problem and I was on my way to my room. My room was clean, well-​lit, everything worked, bathroom was clean, towels clean, toiletries were provided. So far, no problem!
Yes, the walls are paper thin. Yes, I did hard planes overheard. And yes, I even heard my next door neighbor on the phone, snore, and even flush the toilet. So I admit that is a problem. But because I was so tired from my flight and because American Airlines paid for it, it met my expectations and fulfilled my needs.
There is a computer provided in the lobby free of charge and wi-​fi is free everywhere. They do not have a full-​service restaurant but there is a room-​service menu contracted ($ 15 minimum) and they did tell me that they are willing to take you to nearby restaurants via shuttle. They do have happy hour from 5pm-​7pm and complimentary in the mornings. I did not try either so I cannot comment.
Overall, everything was great regarding management and service the only problem is the building itself. I wouldn’t complain staying here again if American Airlines was covering it.

I cannot recommend this place. Okay, it was the only place that had availability b/​c of NASCAR being in Dallas.
The staff was friendly, that I cannot knock. They do have free wifi so that is a plus in their direction. They do have a shuttle, I didn’t use it.
The amenities leave a lot to be desired. The walls are thin, someone else stated this as well. I can hear people upstairs and next door. The breakfast is self serve but pretty much old French toast and make your own waffles, apple and orange juice, and some other stuff.
I would only stay here if there was no other place open… Sorry Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham!

It’s kind of shocking that Windham put their name on this hotel. It is a dive hotel with zero services which is close to the airport. I got put up here by American Airlines when they had mechanical issues and I missed my flight. The room was small and dirty. Toilet broken. Walls are paper thin and linens stained and dirty. The hotel does not offer good services and isn’t located anywhere near any food. This is the definition of a 1 star hotel.
