La Quinta Inn & Suites DFW Airport South / Irving

I love La Quinta in DFW!
It’s clean, the rooms are nice, they have a nice little fitness center, free Continental breakfast, a pool/​jacuzzi, & free shuttle within a 5 mile radius!
It’s location is right off the freeway, so it’s not the most prime of spots. But it is conveniently located within walking distance to a few restaurants (Denny’s is located right next to it, about a minute walk away) & Walmart Supercenter across the street/​freeway (5 min drive).
If you’re staying in DFW looking for rather cheap, yet nice place to stay: La Quinta is your place! I would definitely come back to stay here if ever in DFW!

I enjoyed my stay here at La Quinta. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly. They have 24 hour shuttle service within a certain radius. We used the shuttle service and they even have shuttle service to Cowboy Stadium on game day! I would definitely stay there again.

New update! They are renovating! The carpet is brand new! They have new furniture in the lobby and in the breakfast area. Don’t know how far their planning to take the renovations. The bathrooms are exactly the same with the bright orange shower curtain that not clashes terribly with the rest of the relaxing calming room.
Front desk staff is friendly as always, and they’ve added a snack section for late night, or off hours, snacking. It’s ridiculously overpriced however.
Nice changes overall.

Good, clean, friendly, convenient, and priced right! Couldn’t ask for anything more. Definitely will stay here the next time I fly in or out of DFW.

Clean room! Friendly staff! The breakfast is great for people on the go. We left our car there for 8 days while on vacation and we had no problems. Walmart is across the way which is very convenient. A special shout out to the shuttle drivers. One was named Tiffany and the other was a Hispanic Gentleman … Very, very nice… Both of them! Tip your drivers, people!

Great hotel awesome front desk agents stayed at the 5^th floor :). The view is great can’t complaint

It was OK. I stayed here because there was a training at this hotel but prefer other hotel brands in the same price range.
My thoughts:
Free wifi was nice, even if it was slow
Outdoor pool looked Ok, but I didnt try it out
Breakfast was so-​so. Toast, cereal, hardboiled eggs, fresh waffle station. There were whole bananas and apples but I’m not sure the apples were washed so I avoided them.
Coffee was weak and flavorless.
They didnt come around to clean the room until later, like 3−5pm. I was bummed when I came back to the room after my training at 4pm the room was not made up. They did clean the room when I left to go eat dinner but it was kinda annoying.
Room was clean enough, had a desk but if I am back in the area I will stay at another hotel.

Sorry have to disagree. Just checked in found a used condom rapper on the floor between night stand and bed. WOW!!! Coworkers found bottles on the floor in their room hangers everywhere and toilet was just flushed like it was just used! Crazy! So hotel looks good at first glance and usually don’t have any problems with this chain I guess its just this one! House Keeping get it together!!! So this LaQuinta gets a 1 star.

Wonderful place to stay if you have pets! My two dogs stayed with us free of charge and there is a huge field behind the hotel where the dogs can stretch their legs. They serve breakfast in the morning and staff is very friendly! After check in they give you some time to get to your room and then they call you to make sure everything is ok and see if you need anything. Rooms were very clean.

Good clean hotel with great front desk service. I like that La Quinta has a shuttle driver which goes about 5 miles out which at this location you can get to all of your restaurants and mall. The shuttle begins around 6am up to 10pm.
For breakfast in the AM you have a selection of pastries, cereal, oatmeal, sausage patties and hot waffles (make sure you use a lot of oil, waffles stick if you dont use enough)
Room has all of your needs, but the shower was up to my neck which makes it hard to take a good shower.
Gym isn’t good so bring your resistant cables and perfect push-​up.

Very nice property! Staff are proactive and friendly. Rooms are nicely equipped — bed is comfortable, room spacious, bright and clean. Nice recliner, even! Comfortable work chair and large desk for computing. Free wireless internet, free continental breakfast, great location. Definite winner —
