Staff refuses to listen to dietary needs I asked for a lettuce burger and got a bun?! Second time this has happened not sure why it’s hard for them to understand that order.

Our daughter introduced me to Smashburger in Tucson, and it was DE licious! But when we came to this particular branch, we ordered at ten minutes to closing, were asked if we would dine in, and waited the usual time. I asked for a gluten free bun which I didn’t get. The onion curlies were the dregs. And the very rude personnel flashed on and off the lights to try to get us to leave before we had finished. Sorry when I pay $ 27 for two burgers, two drinks and a side, I expect more.

I love the burgers here. The fries and sweet potato fries are also delicious! Last time we went here it was especially fantastic-extremely fresh and tasted amazing. There is a sauce they put on the burgers that is yummy. Highly recommend!

My black bean burger was good, though not as amazing as other Smashburger locations I’ve been to. I ordered guacamole on my burger, which they charge extra for, and only got about a tablespoon of it. My smashfries were extra oily which was pretty gross. Biggest issue that I had was I came in mid afternoon(no rush) and still waited 23 minutes for my food. I watched others return their orders due to errors and another couple not get their milkshakes until they were done eating and trying to leave.

It’s been six months or so since I’ve been to Smashburger, but i had a real craving for burgers today so I decided to drop by. It was either Smashburger or Five Guys, and I went with Smashburger. About a minute after I left the restaurant with my classic smashburger and smash fries, I got into my car and decided to try a few. The fries were cold. Not lukewarm, but actually cold. There’s honestly no excuse for supposedly fresh fries and a burger to be anything but hot/warm. The olive oil was also a bit much so I’m thinking someone overdid it in the kitchen. The burger was also lukewarm so overall I’m just extremely disappointed by the experience. I even tried to call the store to speak to someone, but no one bothered to pick up the phone. That’s kind of pitiful. Next time, I might just go to Five Guys. Even In N Out delivers hot and fresh food for half the price.

Really good hamburgers! The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly. What more is there to say? My burger was great. They have a whole grain option, which is fantastic. And we had some fries and onion rings which were really good as well. Not too greasy, just right. Good spot to stop in at when you are craving a burger.

Smashburger is my favorite burger place(along with Whataburger). I love crispy french fries. They have that here. The burgers are amazing too!

Eh. Burgers are pricey and dry. Tables are so close to each other. Great to meet other people, I guess. But you don’t really want the splatter of someone you don’t know eating right next to you. Got Baja burger which has guac and jalapenos. Just too dry for my liking. And the smash fries is way too oily.

Decent as a burger can be on a grill, but c’mon, a jalapeño bbq burger with 5 slices of jalapeño? Really? Jalapeños cost about a nickel, surely you can toss a handful on there. The wusses will pull some off, but the rest of us will be grateful. More jalapeños = more stars

I stopped by for a late dinner around 9pm. Even though they close at 10, it looked like they had already started cleaning(tables were flipped over, etc). I ordered at the counter, and the lady taking my order was not friendly at all. She never smiled and would just stare at me rudely, and I was kind of intimidated by her. The food was pretty good though, and it had a very interesting presentation because the two buns were separated and the chicken and bacon was on one side and everything else was on the other side. Even though the food was not bad, I don’t think I’ll come here again because the customer service was not inviting.

4 of us had Smash Burger today for the 1st time today. My brother said the black bean patty was a little plain on it’s own, but was good in the burger. The other 3 burgers were all wonderful. 2 had shakes & said they were one of the best shakes they’ve had. Smash fries were very tasty too.

Goodness, this place is super jam-packed during the lunch rush on the weekdays. If you ever plan on eating in the area during your lunch break, be prepared to fight for a parking spot. I had to drive aimlessly for a while before finding a spot… far, far away… I had the avocado club with buffalo fries. I love how their fries are so thin and flavorful. It has a nice subtle kick to it. The avocado… don’t get me started on the avocado. Anything is good with avocado, and the way SmashBurger handled it was perfect. I left the place feeling full and satisfied. I had to take a doggie bag home because it was a little too big a meal for me — even the kid’s meal portion was just as big. This is my first time eating here. I’m most definitely going to visit again, but next time an hour earlier or later than my initial visit. Maybe parking and the business crowds would be less dense.

HAIR and DIRT on my burger. I ordered it with lettuce instead of a bun. I asked if they could wrap it in lettuce. She answered, «It will be on a bed of lettuce». I imagined more than ½ a wilted leaf. I expected a burger that did not look like it had been used to sweep the corners of the floor. Disgusted and sad that the Smashburger near where we are staying is so horrendously bad. If you dare to eat there– INSPECT your food before you take out. If you eat there, use your flashlight on your phone to really take a look at that food. OR Just stay away from this one.

Excellent burgers seems home made. Bit oily stuff. Customer service was great. It was my first time and they guided me very well. And yes in the end i ordered their strawberry shake, it was yummy. Great burger place

Observation 1: If you are planning on ordering the«healthy» items, you are pretty much going to have to stick with the side salad and chicken breast sandwich. I ordered the veggie patty and veggie frites. My petite wife ordered the much manlier cheeseburger and fries. Our server, as is usually the case, was unsure to whom he should deliver each plate. The burger: Multi-Grain bun is actually good Avocado…fresh Chipotle Mayo… average Cheese — i usually pick it off, but the pepperjack quality was very good. It is real cheese — not cheese type product. Black Bean Patty… basically just refried black beans with a bunch of sea salt on the outside(FYI — I know it’s fancy — but too much salt is still too much salt). The patty was already salty; and the coating outside pushed it over the edge. There was no flavor or texture to the patty, and it is served luke-warm. I felt like I was eating left-overs. I assume that they know that the patty is terrible, but can’t use a gluteny binding agent since everyone is now convinced that they have celiac’s(no offence to the less than 1% of the population that actually does). Verdict… should have gotten same sandwich with chicken breast. The veggie patty is gross. Veggie«Frites»: So you think that you will go healthy by getting the veggie straws depicted on the picture? good luck. What you will receive are basically veggies(albeit fresh ones) bathed in oil and smothered in an insane amount of salt(yes we know, sea salt is «gourmet»). After twisting them in a 4 napkins they became edible; but I still feel like I am carrying around a cup of oil in my belly. This was the reason that I forewent the truffle oil fries in the first place; as I am sure they smothered them with obscene amounts of «gourmet» fare. Verdict… should have gotten the side salad… the veggie frites are a purely masturbatory excercise. My wife’s burger was cooked properly; but the bite i had was under-whelming. Her bun fell apart quickly — so I would suggest get the multi-grain for the texture alone. For 1.99, they give you 2 — 3 potatoes worth of fries and they were decent. They weren’t trying to impress us; they provided competent and well executed fries. They cut them thin, so they get cold right away. I would also suggest they use a hotter temperature so that the oil doesn’t completely saturate the fry.

Over the top service! Honestly, this location has the best service I have ever experienced at a burger joint. The staff used positive language and they were ultra attentive. The restaurant is spotless and smells delightful. I ordered the bacon jalapeño burger. This is a fairly thing patty 1⁄3 lb if I had to guess. It’s cooked to a well temp and slathered in BBQ.(I personally felt they could have not slathered it so heavily) The grilled jalapenos were absolutely incredible. I could taste every bit of flavor from the grill, garlic and jalapeño. I also enjoyed their rather fluffy bun. The smash fries were so crisp and tasty that I ate every single crumb. I plan to go back here as I am sure with the excellent service and tasty options I would be overly pleased yet again!

Smash Burger Las Colinas This one is going on my «Best Burgers» list! Overview The actual building has a Chipotle feel, in that there are menus up front to look at while you are in line, you walk to one side to the counter and order, then go find your seat. The building itself has the same type of set up and décor. You don’t; however, build your own as in front you. You just order from the menu, they hand you a number, and they’ll bring it out when it’s ready. Soda selection is basic. Dr. Pepper is a must, and it’s there! The burger was AWESOME! I got he Spicy Jalepeno Baja Burger and SmashFries. The SmashFries are tossed in OliveOil and Garlic. The Burger was topped with onions and guacamole, with slices of fresh raw Jalepeno. The bun was a a great sponge texture. Cost Burger, Drink, and Fries are A La Carte,(you buy each sperately). For two burgers, one fries, and one drink, it was about $ 19.00 +/-. Kids Kids menu has burger, hot dog, or chicken strips(with fries and drink). Tips to enjoy it better… Don’t get thrown off… the sign makes you think you are approaching a GameStop(same color and design to the sign). Look twice. Final Thoughts This was a good burger. Definitely one I will go back to, and definitely one that will be added to my list! Twitter: At #SmashBurger! — Darrell Wolfe(@DarrellWolfe) February 16, 2015 Life In Fort Worth By Darrell Wolfe

This place is in my neighborhood and I’ve heard good things about it. Decided to try it for a late lunch. I was immediately underwhelmed by the customer service. We were not greeted when we approached the register and the guy was very cold. I should have left then, but decided to give it a shot. The food was decent. The presentation of the meal was better than the actual meal. It wasn’t bad, but it was nothing to write home about. We did the create your own burger option. The burgers came out looking good. I added jalapenos to mine. They were fresh, which contributed to the burger being complex. The onions were sautéed, but the jalapenos weren’t and that created a texture dilemma for me. I like fresh jalapenos, but on a hot sandwich that has other sautéed veggies, sautéed peppers would be more fitting. It was just okay. The smash fries didn’t win me over. They had too much olive oil and oregano. Bad aftertaste. I might give them another try because the chicken sandwiches are appealing and because they also carry real pepper jack cheese. I do like Five Guys’ burger better though.

My go-to when I want sweet potato fries with my greasy burger, or when I just want sweet potato fries. I like the burgers a little better at Five Guys, although the topping choices here are more plentiful. Smashburger has a bigger selection of buns, proteins and sides, as well as salads too, which is good when you want more choices than the standard burger and fresh-cut fries. My husband loves the hand spun milkshakes. I’m a sucker for the fried pickles and sweet potato Smashfries(they have rosemary, garlic and olive oil on them), so it’s nice I have the option to balance out with a salad when I’m not feeling like a full-on grease bomb for dinner. During the noon hour, it tends to be quicker and simpler to get in and out of than the surrounding lunch spots along MacArthur. Evening service can be slow at times, but the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
