Decent organic selection and pretty impressive showing of local breweries in their beer aisle — especially considering its location. Also, they boast a much more friendly staff than your average grocery store.

This review is only for the deli and the people who work behind the counter there. This Tom Thumb location was the closest to my house, and I frequently stopped there on my lunch break for a sandwich. The first time the lady behind the counter helped me I was shocked at her lack of customer service and her«i don’t give a crap» attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day, so I brushed it off. The next few times I went in and she was there it was the same thing. It even came to a point where she said an expletive because the hinge of their deli case was broken and she was having trouble with it. The other people who have helped me have also had an attitude like they would rather be doing anything else than being there. I get it, it is work, and it is customer service. But whatever kind of a day you’re having you need to put a smile on your face an deal. No one is making you work there. Don’t make your life and the lives of the people you are helping worse because of it. Needless to say I made it a point to avoid the sandwich area of that store. As far as everyone else, I have never had an issue and the folks checking were always awesome, so keep it up.

Came to make a quick purchase, changed my brand purchase due to a sale they had — upon checking out and checking my receipt, we were overcharged by $ 7!!! Like, why have a sales tag if it’s not going to be entered in your system? I literally walked back in, checked the tag, and took it to the front for correction. I’m currently still standing in line after at least another 10 minutes just to get refunded the difference. Ughhhhhh!!! KROGER, PEOPLE!!! KROGERISACROSSTHESTREET!!!

This is my favorite store in the area. The employees are helpful and friendly for the most part. The staff in the deli is the best and Brian the manager is awesome. He is helpful and friend.y. Prices might be higher on somethings but my experience is always a good one!

I will give them three stars but I will stick with the MacArthur location.

Pretty good gas prices. sometimes the lowest in town. You can renew your tags and stuff there. Clean store! Pharmacy! Delicatessen! Bakery! Gas station! And a coffee shop I think its a Starbucks.

The nicer grocery store in the area. Otherwise I go to the other one off of Macarthur since it’s closer to where I live. This one has fresh produce and the Starbucks inside.

This review is for the bakery. I ordered a cake here for a baby shower that was being held at a restaurant nearby. I have ordered cakes from grocery store bakeries in the past, and although they were decorated nicely, they weren’t so delicious. I was a little worried it would be dry and overly sweet, but I had no time to go to specialty bakery. I picked chocolate with raspberry filling, and it turned out to be moist and tasted good. It is not as inexpensive as Costco’s cakes, but it has a far more natural taste and texture, even the frosting. I think the décor looks a lot better than costco and sam’s too.

I really like this store. They have a larger selection and a very clean store. One thing though, they are more expensive than other grocery stores(not including Whole Foods), but it’s so worth it! Just keep up with the sales, coupons & the ‘just for you’ area of your app & it will all work itself out in your favor! It just takes a little work. Also, their produce selections are great and I can always find a beautiful assortment of fruits from all over. Next time your at a Tom Thumb try something you have eaten before! Most likely you’ll be amazed! ;-)
