Established in 1974.

Jim Shorkey started out in 1974 with an Olds dealership. Since then, his son, Jim Shorkey Jr, is now the principle, and no less than 13 family members are actively involved in running the operation. Times have changed since 1974, and thanks to our great customers, we have been privileged to grow into one of the leading dealership groups in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

In 2006, we obtained Jim Shorkey Kia, and have steadily grown to become the #1 Kia dealership in the region!

This place is terrible. I visited the Jim Shorkey Fiat dealership on 5÷28÷16. The sales staff is really bad, using deceptive business practices and false advertising.
I had some issues regarding an advertised promotion which I brought to the attention of the sales person. He basically blew me off and never followed up.
I escalated to the sales manager, who also did not respond.
Terrible service + deceptive advertising = LOST CUSTOMER.

This place is horrible. We were there to look at Fiats. My husband had talked via the internet & email with some management/sales person from this place who assured us that YES, 3pm would be great. Her email specifically said that a car would be waiting for us to test drive and we were on time. No one had a clue we were coming, the «saleslady» we got plunked down with knew less about the car than my Husband did, and after she sort of got her crap together she said she was going to get us a car to test drive. After sitting at her desk alone for 20 mins+, we got up and left. It was 3:50pm by this time. We drove about 20+ mins to get there for nothing. There wasn’t even a car in the showroom for us to look at or sit in, etc. When we left I told the receptionist why we were leaving and they lost a sale, she didn’t look too concerned. They just didn’t care at all we were there or make any effort at all. Funny thing is, if you call, the hold message talks about how the ‘Jim Shorkey Family’ treats you so well and all that. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go here. The reason you don’t see many Fiats around Pittsburgh is you can’t buy one, they don’t want to sell you one! What a waste of time and gas.

Here it is almost 2 weeks ago that I had an appointment with Irwin Shorkeys to get an oil change and take care of a warranty issue. I expected a longer wait time to get taken care of but clocked in at 1 and a half hours which was better than what it took before. By the way I am still awaiting a follow-up phone call from Jim Shorkey, Jr. to discuss our issues. But like I said before, out of sight, out of mind. I guess I am in visible and if you have a problem with them they will go out of their way to ignore you. Time ticks away Jim and waits for no one. Man — up and call me back.

Bought a Suzuki XL7 here in 2009. The salesman was awesome while selling the vehicle but after that it went downhill… fast. This is 2014 and I am still having issues with the vehicle. Service writer Ron is rude and argues about warranty and refuses to give you info concerning the warranty. Mechanics tell me all the problems with the vehicle is the «Chevy» parts in it. If it’s not an oil change or changing brakes they have no idea how to fix anything. I could go on and on concerning this subject but bottom line is NEVER again will I buy from them. And just try and get a loaner off of them when having warranty work. They refuse till the are 100% sure it’s warrantied and by then I am home for 2 – 3 days and am not driving the ½ hour to pick up a rental. Was never ever offered to be taken home or picked up while my car was there a week or more.
If the mechanic cannot put a diagnostic computer in your vehicle and it tell them what is wrong you can forget getting it fixed.
I’ve been complaining of the same exact issues since the day I bought the vehicle and I’m no moron when it comes to vehicles. My ex and I owned an auto repair for that has been in business for 35+ years.

This summer, I’ve experienced excessive wait times to get my vehicle serviced. You have to wait over a week to get an appointment at this dealership now. I have a broken tie rod and cannot drive my vehicle safely due to this issue, and I’ve been told that the next available appointment is not for over a week. It’s a complete pain to get any warranty work done on your vehicle as well in my previous experiences this summer. I won’t be returning to this dealership to purchase a vehicle anytime soon, or the service department.
