History

Established in 1986.

Mc Rons Party Rentals, later in 2006 the DBA name of Aloha Event Services was added on to help with advertising. In February of 2009 there was a change in ownership since then we continue to maintain previous customers and welcome all new business both small and large events. This company SAVED my thanksgiving. I had another company lined up (wait until I review them, pissed off review coming). The other company had JDownloader me a time for delivery. No delivery, no answering phone calls.
I called ALOHA at the last minute and they were able to help me get 3 eight foot tables, and 30 chairs THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING IN THE AFTERNOON. They caught their delivery truck in time to add my order.
I was panicking because I’m hosting 45 people and I desperately needed the tables and chairs. (I had a few of my own but I obviously needed more).
I am so greatful that they went out of there way to help me at the last minute.
Thank you! Customer service at its finest. I didn’t even get the lady’s name, but she was phenomenal.
I will use them again. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Everything arrived on time, in great condition, and was set up quickly and beautifully. Aloha was very helpful in planning our event and making suggestions to help us have the best party possible. We used Aloha Events for our wedding back in March and we enjoyed our experience with them. Kathy was so sweet and helpful we had such a great first meeting and she continued to stay in contact with me to make sure we had the correct numbers and items needed for our special day. She even suggested other vendors for things they could not provide. Delivery and pick up was a breeze, their workers are very fast, kind and professional. The only negative was that we ordered gold chargers and almost all of them were so dirty we spent a lot of set up day cleaning them. I swear it was as if the person before us used them as plates and didn’t know what they were for LOL. Also there were quite a few that got broken in transit which they told us might be the case so they gave us an extra few boxes thank god! I would recommend them and use them again in the future! thank you guys again!

I threw a Luau for my 40th birthday party. When searching Unilocal I found this business and loved the pictures. He prices are reasonable compared to the other event service companies I looked at. I would recommend you read and re-​read the invoice to make sure everything is as you want it. I had a little hiccup that we had to work through, but it turned out fine. They had great customer service and fixed my little issue. — Thank You!
$ 35.00 delivery fee seemed very reasonable to me.

Yuri came out to see the backyard a few months before the wedding and gave us an est of how many tables would fit and items that we would need for a wedding of 200, then when we went down to 180, Kathy quickly revised it with no issues.
We did have a lot of Unused glass and pitchers but that was my fault
Bc we opted out to place special water bottles instead of water pitchers at the last minute. I highly recommend this
Company for their professionalism and the quick email responses from Kathy. All their products were in great shape including their nice and clean wooden chairs. The linen was also perfect! They dropped off and picked up with no issues… over all great experience :)

Kathy at Aloha is wonderful. She’s sweet and helpful and 2 years ago when I was getting married, she really understood the budget I was on. She made suggestions and I was really happy with the items. Don’t get spooked by the website– they have a wonderful, large inventory of items. Just reach out and ask and I’m sure they’ll have what you need!
Since my wedding– I’ve reached out to Kathy multiple times to help with friends’ events/​quotes and she’s been wonderful!

Aloha Event Services provided a beautiful dance floor, outdoor runner, and chairs (outdoor ceremony) for our wedding at Castle Green.
Kathy was great to work with, very informative, always prompt to reply to emails, and made working with them very easy. They were very flexible when we weren’t sure what we wanted and made last minute changes. They even sent someone out to Castle Green to measure and double check that we had the right size of floor for our set up.
I researched a lot of companies and found them to have very good fair prices which is a blessing when planning a wedding and you are on a budget because I think in general the wedding industry is way over priced.
They are a recommended vendor for Castle Green so I knew they would be good (as Castle Green is a historical venue and has strict rules on things). So if you are having them at another venue I think they can be trusted to do a good job.
Great company, customer service, and they provided a very nice dance floor. Definitely recommend them!

Aloha Event Services came recommended by the wonderful staff at our wedding venue (Castle Green). We contacted a few places and Aloha Event Services was one of the more professional and prompt vendors that we encountered during the planning process. Their prices were also very competitive which was a huge bonus for us since we had a strict budget. As soon as we booked everything, it was all taken care of with no other surprises or snags along the way. This peace of mind was priceless for us. This review is way over due, since the first time we rented from Aloha Event Services back in July 2011 for our wedding (total emergency the day before). I’m glad they have an emergency line for last-​minute adds, but I didn’t listen to the recording all the way through to get that number. That’s my fault.

Aloha Event Services provided all of the rentals for my wedding.
Before choosing Aloha, I compared numerous companies, and visited a total of four. These guys were the absolute BEST when you break it down to quality, price, and customer service!
I met with Kathy at their warehouse /​offices in Irwindale, and she was more than happy to spend time answering my questions, showing me their inventory, talking about color options, and giving suggestions based on her years of experience. I knew I was in good hands! She was always prompt replying to emails, and had no problem revising our quote over and over.
Our caterer decided to add on a handful of rentals the day before our wedding. I don’t know if it’s typical to add things on so last minute, and I tried not to let it stress me out… Luckily, Kathy was able to get the items our caterer wanted, and keep me from turning into a bridezilla.
Love these guys, and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

This is not my first party that I am throwing… I have called and used others that were more tentative and courteous. I thought I could try out another company because of the good reviews… but I was wrong!!! I should have paid attention to the bad reviews!!!
Before emailing this company I checked out their website… not much to see!!! So I emailed them and all they can refer me to was their website!!! I went on their website 3 times (maybe they updated it) but same thing!!! Two Thumbs down for this place!!!

They are incredibly responsive – usually replying to emails and calls within minutes — and they really make you feel like you are their only client.
