Haven’t been in NY in a bit over 3 years. What a surprise to have a Dave and Busters close to my hotels. Went here on Thursday night for a gathering for family and friends. I mainly enjoyed the time with my family and friend. The drinks served from the bar were not very good and left much to be desired. Everyone who ate enjoyed their food. My cousin ordered a brownie/cookie thing for dessert but she said it was very hard, not soft at all. When they closed at midnight, they didn’t give any warning, the just hit the switch that shut down all the games. Didn’t reference last call for food or drinks either. If I was playing a game I would’ve been mad by how they just shut down with no prior warning. When you are busy having a good time with family and friends you don’t pay attention to the time.

Used to come here all the time with my friends. They have some good specials. The prizes kind of cost a lot of tickets. The food is ok, but what you would expect out of a Dave and Busters. A lot of different games. Sometimes it’s really busy sometimes it’s not. Only 10 minutes away from where I live.

I’ve been here many times but this is my first review. It’s a great place to go with family or co-workers because because as the tagline goes, you can eat, drink, and play. Though nothing over the top, I’ve always found the service and food to be good. It’s very typical American fanfare food. And after you’re done eating and drinking, you can go play the games! I feel they have something for everyone — both kids and adults. I think D&B did it right and I’m surprised I don’t generally see more people there.

Awesome environment for a good night out HOWEVER, the bartenders are awful. Super slow service. If they were a little bit more energetic and didn’t move at a snails place I would be here at least once a week and would be happy to take care of an attentive bartender. They do nothing to even earn a tip. FYI to D&B, get a better crew in there and this place will be packed every night. Based on what I saw business probably sucks, it’s a shame.

Great place to bring the kids on Wednesday. Why? Because the games are ½ price! The full price is a bit much. The game prices are in points, so it’s a bit difficult to figure out the actual cost per game, which is usually about a couple dollars a game. When it’s ½ price, its definitely worth it. The kids(and me) love to play to get the tickets after playingthe game. You can cash in the tickets for prizes and candy. Its only like 10,000 point or so for a piece of candy. For extra fun and prizes, look for tickets that someone else left at the machine or dropped. It’s pretty busy on Wednesday due to the ½ price special, but it’s worth it. Food is a bit on the higher side, but that was expected. There are some quite spots closer to the door, just in case you want to let the kids have a good time playing games, while you and the wife have a drink. Plenty of screens for sports. Fairly clean. Enough parking. Remember to bring your Dave and Busters game card each time you go there, or there is a fee for a new one. Sylvester knows best!

The entire staff at this Dave & Busters is incredible! I’ve never had a bad experience here. I took my Fiancé here on our first date and we’ve gone back consistently ever since. Recently the Staff and Managers there helped me coordinate an elaborate plan to propose to my at the time girlfriend. We set up the ring in one of the prize boxes in the winners circle, after a night of fun and games it came as a complete surprise to her when she stumbled upon the ring with a custom ticket card/note, the manager came over with the keys to unlock the ticket box, i grabbed the box and unveiled the ring and proposed, she said yes, everyone around applauded and the staff was waiting with champagne! They even had a photographer tae pictures for us! It was an incredible and memorable experience that we will never forget! Thank you Dave & Busters! Particularly their manager Nick who was a huge help setting this all up!

I’m only reviewing the food. It’s not that great, each time I come it’s a disappointment and I’ve ordered a variety. The wings were okay, the burgers weren’t anything special and the tots aren’t exciting. It’s a chain restaurant, I guess what do you expect? Each and every time I have a bad experience here. I think it’s the games that keeps me coming, and being there as long as I do just makes me hungry so I have no other choice because Mcdonald’s is too far across the parking lot.

Good times! 2÷12÷16 for my birthday. Wanted to do something fun with my young nieces and nephews. We had fun playing all the games but I wish they had more games geared towards the younger children. Regardless everyone had fun playing and winning tickets. Our party of 10 were seated for dinner. We had a friendly server, he handled our crowd kindly and saw to our requests and needs throughout. Quesadillas(app): they were ok, nothing memorable. Served with sour cream, salsa, and diced jalapeños on the side. Boneless wings: these were cooked well, good flavor and a nice serving size. Would order again for an appetizer. The Boss Chicken club sandwich: flavorful, soft bun, crispy bacon, avocado and«special sauce». It was delicious. Crispy onions were minimal and not like the photo on the menu which is a thumbs down. Wish there were plenty of crispy onions as pictured! Side of fries for me and sweet potato fries for my guest. Both good and a good serving. Fish and chips: Nice cod fillets with crispy potato chips. My guest enjoyed this dish and would order again. It looked nice and crispy but not overcooked. Short rib and Mac n cheese sandwich: with a side of tots. Perfectly cooked, portioned and flavorful. Caveman combo: Ribs and mini cheeseburgers with fries. My nephew enjoyed it. Ribs were well cooked, good amount of sauce. Children’s menu: Mac and cheese. The kids liked it. It looked like Kraft Mac n cheese. Children’s menu: Pretzel dogs with side of sweet potato fries. I snuck a bite. These were pretty good. I almost ordered them for an appetizer but glad I didn’t bc they were kind of soggy on the bottom. Donuts: they weren’t served warm. The chocolate ones tasted a bit like peanut butter which I don’t like. The donuts were disappointing. Chocolate fondue: my guests enjoyed it and so did the kids. Served with fruit, pound cake, marshmallows, graham crackers and brownies to dip. I had the alcoholic cherry slushy drink. They but a light up ice cube in it so it made for a fun drink. Not very strong though. Other guests had beer and margaritas Overall, it was a fun night filled with games, drinks, food and family. We will be back. Oh and I like the renovated D&B, it looks good! Wish there were bathrooms closer to the dining areas. We had to walk all the way back into the game area and head all the way to the back. Kinda far especially when having to take children to the bathroom during dinner.

Ever since they revamped the place and made a new food and drink menu, the décor and food are great. The food is decently priced and quite tasty. The drinks are what knocks off a star for me. The drinks are WEAK! And for the amount of money they charge, you would think your having a cocktail at a penthouse party in Manhattan. It just doesn’t make sense. As for the games… there really aren’t an overabundance of them, and it’s disappointing. Years ago i remember the games were everywhere there, but sadly times have changed. Also the cost of games on a card are somewhat pricey for the amount of games you get to play. The bathrooms… they are THEMOSTDISGUSTINGBATHROOMS I’ve ever seen. The smell immediately hits your nose the minute you walk in. There’s toilet paper all over the bathroom, there’s water on the floor, theres water all over the counters, and it’s dirty. Those bathrooms need to be cleaned more often because it’s despicable! Overall, I wish I could love this place because it was a wonderful idea for an «Adult Arcade» but the drinks, games, and cleanliness is disappointing. Hopefully things will change.

Only reason it gets 2 stars is because of the amount of games they have. But one thing this place DOESNOT have is good customer service. I am not placing names on this review because I don’t want them to get in trouble. But if you really don’t like your job maybe look for other options. There’s a girl in the back that helps you ring out your prizes you claim. Let me tell you, she is one nasty person. Zero eye contact with you, Zero positive attitude. Totally ignored us until the other girl next to her said to help us. No thank you at all or have a nice, wonderful night. When we went up to the counter she throws her hand out while still talking to her co worker, she doesn’t even say ONE word to us. This all happened on 01÷27÷16 after 8:30pm. I think Dave and busters should fix this problem. I can just imagine how many other people feel this way but don’t say anything.

Very enjoyable family experience. Not cheap and the money you put on cards goes very quickly but a good time. The machines are all well maintained and the place was clean. While I didn’t have a chance to sample the food or drink both were bustling with activity because of the Mets’ game. Easy to get to and adequate parking. Some many locations have closed-I hope this one stays open.

It’s disappointing to report the service was abysmal at the bar during the NFL games this week. With the exception of Byron, the bartenders were awful. Our glasses sat empty for long periods of time, and when asking for a bud light– I was told«gimme a few minutes». The bar wasn’t even full and there were 4 bartenders on. Last year was so great, so I am sad to see the decline this year. The atmosphere was pretty good though.

The video games are ancient. The food is unbelievably bad. The prizes are pathetic! This place rots! Hopefully it will go out of business and they will open a Home Depot in its place! For shame!

Besides waiting twenty minutes to be served, I enjoyed the food more than I thought. I had the sweet BBQ wings with sweet potato fries. That was really good. My boyfriend had the Hottie burger which he didn’t like so much because it was too messy and too much to handle. The fries were good but not as good as my sweet potato ones. The hot wings weren’t so hot haha

To say I’m disgusted with this establishment is an understatement. Their new drink, the«painkiller,» is the most unintelligent, upsetting, and just downright insensitive marketing I’ve ever seen. With the widespread heroin and opiate epidemic destroying our loved ones, young and old, how could a well known establishment make light of painkillers? This drink consists of rum and coconut– they couldn’t come up with another name? Tasteless. Heartless. Lost my business.

I tried spinach dip pretty good! The wings were a tad cold coming out but still was tasty. Also tried the quesadillas it was pretty good. The service was kinda slow. They did accidentally messed up on one order but fixed it right away. The server dropped a side order but cleaned n replaced within mins with I liked. Only prob I had was I had to find my own silverware.

Date of visit: 6÷21÷2015 We were seated in the main dining area — the floor was filthy, I have no idea when it was last mopped. It was covered in debris. We walked past 4 forks, 2 knifes, the top to a ketchup bottle, and countless amounts of food and napkins on the floor as we were escorted to our table. The back of my chair was sticky. I mentioned to one of the people I was with how dirty everything was but we weren’t sure what else was in the area and were just having a quick appetizer so we decided to overlook the mess. That was a big mistake. Waitress was polite and prompt, no complaints about her. Food came out quickly. But … Here is the kicker. Someone I was with unrolled her cloth napkin(silverware is rolled up in napkin) and finds a chewed piece of gum in it. This was it … I can’t overlook this. I spoke with the manger who was speechless but said I guess I should say I’m sorry. Ummm, yeah that is the least you can say or do. Our waitress came over right after the manager left our table and I mentioned to her what happened. She was more shocked and empathic than the manager and she said let me talk to him(the manager) and see what we can do. They ended up comping the bill. Which I do appreciate. Overall this experience will cause me to never eat there again.

Being a parent of a 3 and 5 y/o I have frequented quite a few Dave & Busters. This is by far my favorite. The managers and staff are extremely polite and helpful. The place is very clean and the food is pretty good. Great selection of games and a great bar for me.

I really don’t care about the food I guess but I love spending time on the game floor. Nice and exciting environment. Friendly servers. Once in a while their machines doesn’t work properly but after all they are machines and they have malfunctions. Other than that I like it here!
