Guelfi Wheel Alignment

I called for an estimate on the replacement of a pitman arm. I had the brand new part already (a good quality Moog piece), but couldn’t take another day off of work or get the chance to replace it myself as I was going on vacation in the next 3 days. After spending 10 minutes on hold Guelfi gets on and I explain what I needed done. As soon as he heard that I already had the part, he shouts «Forget it! I’m not interested in that.» and hangs up on me. I was referred to John Geullfi by a co-​worker who said his shop did decent work. But, his severe lack of business and interpersonal skills more than cancels out any potential benefit in that area. Like the last guy said, go someplace where your business is appreciated. Lord knows there are plenty of shops out there that are willing to treat you like a human being!

This shop charges you top dollar on parts and labor, however if you have an issue good luck. I had a product with lifetime warranty on a product with a street value of $ 60 (double of course through them) and got a song and dance for a week after dropping thousands of dollars there, and walked away having to go elsewhere.
Their labor is good, I’ve never had an issue with the work performed, but do expect them to stand up and do the right thing if an issue occurs. Which they did not. no loyalty.
Bottom line: not worth the upcharge. go someplace where your business is appreciated.
