I stopped here this morning because I was waiting for the library to open. When I walked up, I couldn’t find an hours of operation sign and the door was locked. As I tried the door, two other ladies walked up and the owner stuck his head out the door. He let the ladies in and I asked when he opened. He jokingly asked me if I had any money, and I said that I would gladly pay him for coffee. It turns out that he doesn’t open on Sundays. But still he sold me coffee. He even made it just to my specifications. You won’t find that kind of service in the chains.

Owner, Batista, and cowboy Rick will make sure to take care of your espresso needs. The walls are filled with chalk mural and advertising for local music/theater events. Not much room to sit but it’s more of a grab a cup of great Jo on the go kind of a place. Tastes way better than your corporate chain places.
