Alicia rocks my world! The L15 salon is such a cute place to go and I’m glad they gained her as a stylist because I will travel anywhere to see her. She genuinely cares about her clients and making them look and feel beautiful. I have always struggled with my hair but Alicia works her magic every time and makes it 3000x times better. I never have to even tell her what I want, she just knows and performs miracles! Put your trust and your hair in Alicia’s hands

This is my 2^nd go around with L15, left when my stylist moved and I came back to L15 recently for a cut. The stylist was very nice and did a nice job with my cut, but it’s not what I wanted. I had pictures of a razor bob and I got a traditional bob. I called to get the cut fixed with another stylist and the salon told me that my original stylist would need to fix it. Not a fan of having such strict rules, if the customer wants to have another stylist fix the cut, they should just do it. Not going back.

This place is great! I had been going to the same stylist for 14 years but the trek to Leschi was wearing on me. After some research on Unilocal for great Stylists in Issaquah I looked up L15 since I drive by it almost every day and loved the look from the outside.
I saw great reviews on Veronica and took a shot. So glad I did!!! In all honesty I wish I’d found her and looked into L15 a year ago. When you walk up the steps to the front door you see this sweet little patio with comfy chairs and even a table and chairs to enjoy some water or coffee while you wait. Once inside the waiting area is filled with warm, natural accents and everything looks and feels like quality craftsmanship (without any pretense!).
Veronica gave me the best haircut (and I really loved my stylist I’ve been using forever!!!) She was great at listening and interpreting some issues (insane cowlick) I have and did a great job of not falling into the trap of a first timer with my challenges. Such a pro!
If you’ve been waiting to try this place out… don’t!

Had a very good experience with stylist Tamie! My little sister and I came in for back to back haircuts with her and she was great! Will definitely be going back to her. The salon is also super cute and has a good vibe to it.

I really like this salon. I’ve been getting my haircut by Alicia for the past year or so. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if I’ll return as out of the blue, they raised her cuts from $ 30 to $ 40 without notice. I was just asked to pay more when checking out. A note to management; A 33% increase is too much all at once.

AMAZING!!! I will never go anywhere else! everyone here is amazing! no one had disappointed me. if the stylist u pick doesn’t feel comfortable they will have u scheduled with someone else! I love the honesty! no money hungry ppl here!

It turned out I suffered a second-​degree burn on my left ear from getting burnt by a curling iron while getting my hair done for a bridesmaid role at my friend’s wedding. I really want to like this place but unfortunately, I will not be going back.

I don’t go into hair salons very often and I am super chill about my hair. But it was my first time being in the salon and I had a really great experience! My stylist, Jeremy, I highly recommend. I told him how I wanted my hair, showed him pictures for examples. He definitely listened to my wants and offered his personal opinion on a hairstyle that would work with my lifestyle of wanting something stylish and low maintenance. Friendly service and cute salon!

I have been going to Veronica for almost 3 years. She is an AMAZING stylist & colorist. She LISTENS to her clients and is honest about what will and will not work. I am extremely picky about my hair and I have never been disappointed. She is very professional, sweet and fun and makes every effort to make sure you are comfortable and have the very best experience while you are in the salon. She has created the most beautiful hair color I have ever had in my life, a color I might have overlooked had it not been for her extraordinary expertise in color. She also custom dyes my eyebrows to match my hair color — I have never experienced that in a salon before. This gal has it all!
The salon is gorgeous and looks like a spa, with beautiful candles and natural wood floors. They also serve wine, which is very relaxing after a long day.

After reading a previous review, I felt compelled to comment on a post. I have been a client of Veronica’s for over three years, and I can’t say enough positive things about her! Not only is she a FABULOUS stylist, but a wonderful person as well. I too have been to stylists around the globe, and consider myself to be EXTREMELY picky when it comes to choosing a stylist. Veronica is professional, personable and should be considered as one of the best of her profession. I have absolutely no complaints, and will continue to recommend her highly and without hesitation to anyone looking for a stylist who can appreciate her expertise. It is a travesty that anyone would even attempt to slander or defame her in any way.

Beautiful salon with a friendly atmosphere, so I really wanted to like my stylist, especially since she was from AZ. I thought salon was nice, calming, and clean, which is the reason for the extra star. However, this review is for Veronica, who is one of the worst stylists ever to cut my hair, and I’ve lived in «austere» environments all over the world. First off, before the appointment, on my internet-​based reservation, I outlined my desired haircut, my individual hair «issues», e.g. having a long fine, bi-​racial (Asian/​Caucasian) hair, with the propensity cowlick and to frizz… Secondly, that I had long, heavy hair that I wanted to trim, just to take some of the weight off – but wanted to keep long, because I was planning on getting married soon and wanted to have long, romantic waves in my hair for my wedding. And third, the trim needed to stay long enough for me to keep my hair, up in a ponytail, and off my nape, for my profession. All explained to Veronica during my appointment. However, Veronica also had long nails and kept scratching me in the face, throughout the entire appointment. It was annoying and mildy hurt, so I wasn’t going to complain while she had scissors in her hand. She also gave my hair trimmings away to another client who wanted to use it to keep the deer away from her property, which she said yes to (while I was there – without asking me) which I thought was impolite/​rude. Lastly, she overcharged me by $ 140; by doubling the amount of the appointment + tip by accident; which their receptionist caught (after the charge), which required my fiancé and I to call the salon back several times and come back to the salon on a workday (I work 50 miles away) to have the charge taken off. Despite this poor experience I still tipped her well. We understand accidents happen. The final straw though is that my hair was trimmed in such a way that my hair is impossible to keep in a professional looking bun or ponytail (which was a stated requirement for my haircut); and plainly put – looks sloppy – even six months after the trim. I keep waiting for it to grow out of this annoying habit of looking unkempt, but it hasn’t yet… Which is the reason for this review. This poor experience means I won’t be returning for a wedding hair appointment here. Thankfully I didn’t trust Veronica off the bat with that responsibility, untested. I think I would have been really, really unhappy.

I’ve been going to L15 for nearly 2 years and still love it! Ashley does a great job, listens to what I want done to my hair and gives me great advice on styling and color.
The salon is bright and done well. The pricing is reasonable, less than I paid at Gene Juarez for a much more experienced stylist. The parking lot is small, but I’ve always found a space. I definitely recommend L15.

I LOVE this Salon.
I’ve been going to Lindsay for all my hair needs since the week the salon opened, and have no complaints. Sure, they’re a little pricey but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for.
Anytime I walk in the door, the receptionist is always friendly and quick to offer to take my coat and get a refreshment while I wait.
Lindsay is incredible, attentive, and very pleasant to talk to. She has helped me transition from dark to very blonde, from long hair to a pixie and now on my way to long again. All without the dreaded «awkward» stages that usually come between haircuts or colorings.
The parking lot is small, but I’ve personally never had to park on the street. Also, it’s good to keep in mind that this place transitioned from an old house to a beautiful salon so the parking is really what would have been driveway/​yard space for a residential building.
The only person I trust with my hair or brows nowadays is Lindsay, and I always look forward to my next appointment with her.

I am extremely disappointed with L15 Salon. I have tried them multiple times, and in the end, I just feel disrespected and overcharged.
I first made an appt at L15 to get my haircut after my old Hair Stylist went back to school. L15 placed me with Alexis, who is nice, but overall I didn’t think was the right fit for my hair. My haircut was also expensive for the quality. I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed here too after my hair-​cut. The girl did a good job, and I was happy and made a follow-​up appt. As I was driving home, I ran my fingers through my hair to discover that there was wax all through-​out my hair. You know how your hair never looks as good as when it’s first cut? Yeah, I didn’t get to experience that since I had to wash out all of the wax. I emailed the owner, Lindsay, and she was very apologetic and offered to comp me the cost of my eyebrow wax, and give me a Blow out. The girl who did my eyebrows also called and was extremely apologetic. I thought they handled it well, and I was happy to try them out again.
The next time I showed up, apparently the eyebrow waxing person had quit, and they had called to reschedule, but I never got the message. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and rescheduled another appt with Lindsay herself, she gave me a discount for the inconvenience.
I ended up getting another hair cut from Alexis, which was once again not what I really wanted, and the new eyebrow waxer, Elaine, just didn’t do as good of a job.
The final straw was when I showed up for my appt to get my eyebrows waxed and I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting for an appt that only takes 10. The receptionist was unapologetic, and didn’t even seem surprised when I said I was waiting for 20 minutes and wanted to cancel my appt. She asked me if I wanted to re-​schedule, and I told her no, and to cancel all my future appts.
On top of all of that, the parking lot is TINY, can fit maybe 6 – 7 cars, so everyone is forced to park on the busy street.
You may have better luck with other stylists, but I was unimpressed with the business.

Like other Issaquah residents, I watched the transition from an old home to a salon, and wondered what the result would be like.
When my husband wanted to try something new with his hair, I made an appointment for him with Jeremy based on other Unilocal reviews. He has had salon cuts before but frequently shied away from the price and the drive to Redmond’s Gene Juarez. I’m happy to report that he got a great cut from Jeremy, and felt comfortable with the entire experience. One of our friends even told him he looks younger with this new «do.»
Encouraged by his experience, I thought I would give them a chance as well. My own experience was more frustrating — I tried calling to get a recommendation from the receptionist on who would be best for my hair type, and no one answered (it was the middle of a business day.) Next I tried to forge bravely on ahead and reserve through their partner website, as I had done for my husband, and got an error message. I tried calling again, got an answer (yay!) and then promptly was put on hold. I was working so didn’t mind, but after more than 20 minutes on hold, gave up on L15 altogether. It shouldn’t be that hard to give someone my business.
Other thoughts — They have a tiny parking lot, so I frequently see people have parked just off of the busy Newport Way because their «lot» is full. I advise against taking a giant vehicle if you can help it.

This salon is hip & stylish! I chose to try it because I needed a new place closer to home. It’s clean and each stylist has their own area to work in (from the way they rearranged each work space).
Made an appointment with Elaine Dong. She means business and immediately sits you down, fugues out what you want, then you get to the washing and cutting. What I liked about her style was that she cut some of my hair first to get a feel for where it would lay dry and then she cut some while it was wet. She was also great about explaining what she was doing to my hair each step of the way.
Now I have found that my right side is slightly longer than my left… They called back and said I could get it fixed but I can live.

Jeremy is a talented colorist and always cuts my hair perfectly. I was thrilled when I found him after he left his previous salon. It’s very hard to find someone who does great color *and* cut! He always listens to what I want my hair to do and look like. He offers great suggestions for everything from suitable cut for my hair, length, color and has always been spot on. I always love my hair after I see Jeremy.

I have been going here for a few months now and am ready to review this salon. I know there have been negative comments about the front of house staff but either they have been replaced or retrained because in the many times I have phoned to make or change an appointment they have been nothing but polite and helpful. They were also polite when I was actually in the salon too. Love the option of having a wine while having my hair done! Larissa has been doing my hair and I have to say she has been wonderful to my hair. She listens to what I want and makes appropriate suggestions. I love the color and highlights she has done to my hair.

Love this salon! It was recommended to me by a friend who has gone there for a while. I was super nervous about finding a new hair stylist because mine was moving out of state, and I am not a natural blonde! When I called the receptionist was super friendly and made sure to book me with someone who’s great with color. I saw Brianna and we immediately hit it off (personality is hugely important in a hair stylist, I think!) She did a great job following my color formula and listening to what I wanted for the cut.
The salon itself is super adorable. It feels high end but also really welcoming. They also offer you refreshments including wine and beer, which is a nice touch. Plus the prices are reasonable. I’ll be looking forward to my next appointment!

Beautiful salon! It is a high end yet intimate feeling. I hate the assembly line feeling you get at some of the larger high end salons. This salon is very friendly, personable and nice feeling.
I have visited this salon exactly twice and the first visit was good. I left happy enough to book a second appointment. However, my second visit was not great. I asked for bright blonde chunky highlights and a trim. I left with a completely blended, orange/​gold colored hair with layers from hell after having no layers. My hair was under processed and then a toner was slapped on to try to disguise all he orange and gold tones. The toner was such an unnatural and unflattering color that I couldn’t wait for it to wash out. My haircut was so overly layered on the sides that I had to go to another salon and cut off 4 inches to even it out. My stylist must have forgotten that I was trying to grow my hair out :(There was not one aspect of my hair that I remotely liked when I left that day. I am not super picky about my hair but everything was completely opposite from what we discussed in the consultation. The foils were not tight, looked like I needed color again after a couple weeks. I would have expected something like this visiting a beauty school and having student work done, not a high end salon.
I’m sure this salon has some great stylists. Unfortunately, the woman who did my hair either forgot what we had discussed or needs some more training. I really wanted to like this salon.
Yes, I could have called and asked for a redo but I really had lost all confidence when both my cut and color were awful.
