Tom Q.
Business Owner
Hello, my name is Tom Quickstad, but patients and staff just call me Dr. Tom. I was born and raised in the Seattle area, graduating from Newport High School in 1976. In 1980 I graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Zoology. During my undergraduate years I played soccer for the Huskies all four years and captained the varsity team my senior year. (Go Dawgs!)
From 1980 to 1984 I attended the UW Dental School. I enjoyed my time in dental school and still spend Friday afternoons teaching the freshmen students at the dental school.
My first job out of school was in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, as the school dentist to several schools in the Canton, and my next was at the Policlinique in Lausanne, rounding out my experience with all ages. In late 1986 my wife Allison and I moved back to Seattle, and in 1989 I opened my own dental practice on the Plateau in Issaquah. For over 25 years it has been my great privilege getting to know and help our patients here.
