Two Paws Up

I love Two Paws Up! I moved back here 7 years ago with 5 rescue dogs from the streets of Florida. Some of them were NOT that easy to handle but they were always great with them! Treated them like their own. Trust me. I’d know if they weren’t treating them right. I’ve done rescue for years! My mother, brothers, aunts, and cousins … ALL bring our furry family members to Two Paws Up :) That’s a LOT of happy dogs! Thank you Ana and Cherisse!!! We love you!!! ~ Dawn Avello

I’ve been bringing my dog to Ana & Cherisse since 2004. Whenever I ask my dog if she’s ready for a bath and to see Ana & Cherisse she starts running around in excitement and goes for the car. She can’t wait to go. I’ve never taken my dog anywhere else and never would. Ana & Cherisse have been the best all these years.

I was a little nervous taking my fur baby to a new place. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed her with open arms. They finished her up promptly. I was unfortunately running very late to pick her up, but they were so nice about it. She looked amazing! I could totally tell that she liked the place. I’m so excited that we have found new amazing groomers so close to our home!

Great place to bring in your pet after a nice fat skunk decides to spray them. Love the staff and the service is amazing.

The owner to this place Ana saw my review for Two Paws Up and emailed me about it. She was very rude, impolite, and abrasive in her email. I was very taken aback by her rudeness and needless to say I will not be recommending this place in the future.

I found this groomer through an online search when another nearby groomer lost my business because they were rude and ignorant (see Eclipse review). I was able to get in the next day and Sherise (the employee who answered the phone) was very understanding when I said I was bringing my senior mother’s dogs in and that one has a spinal issue. When she discovered that new construction was impeding entrance to the parking lot she called me and told me so I would not be inconvenienced. The owner Ana was just as gracious and loving. They took extra special care of the two dogs knowing that it was a stressful experience for both the dogs and my Mom, and the dogs were happy as clams when I picked them up. The haircuts were perfect-​just what was asked for, and the price is more than reasonable. There are not enough stars to give in this review.

They do a fantastic job with my dogs here, I have a bichon and a yorkie mix. They even remembered both my dogs after just one time (they do have some unique names though). They do a great job, for an even better price. I can’t believe they charge what they do for what you receive. My dogs are always happy when they come home, and they look so cute in their little bandanas. I’m so glad I found Two Paws Up and I will be bringing my dogs back here for as long as they are in business.

I have a yorkie named Louie that just turned 5. We used to take him to Yuppie Puppy in Schaumburg on Roselle Road and that was a mistake. For the 3.5 years that I took Louie to Yuppie Puppy, Cheryl, the owner, would always tell me how hard it was for her to cut his hair. That he was aggressive, he would bite her, etc. Remind you, this is not the character of my dog at all. I often thought about taking Louie to another groomer but didn’t want to make it more traumatizing for him if he did have a hard time getting his haircut. At least he was familiar with Cheryl and maybe gradually he would be more accepting of the process. The last time I picked Louie up from Yuppie Puppy he seemed normal but then when we got home I saw bruises on his chest. I called the animal hospital to see if I should bring him in to get checked. I was really worried and concerned about Louie and was so angry with Yuppie Puppy. I knew I had to find a new groomer to take Louie.
I was referred to Two Paws Up by my boyfriends sister. They do a really great job cutting his hair even and they follow directions. If you want your dog to have a yorkie face, shorter body and shorter legs they will do it.
When I first took Louie there, I explained the situation that had gone on at Yuppie Puppy. The lady was very nice and said that she would work with Louie. When we picked him up she said that Louie was fine and that he didn’t like to have his back legs cut but that it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.
I am very happy that I have found a groomer that I feel comfortable with. Thanks Two Paws Up!
