The teachers in the VUSD are very good to put up with the level of B.S. that they do in order to help the children of Visalia learn. The administration in this district is a joke! The district suffers from myopic thinking from the top down. When your administrators are more concerned with keeping their jobs than they are the product they turn out (educated children) there is a fundamental problem. If I were a parent in Visalia today I would send my children to private school. My deepest condolences to those of you raising children in Visalia who can’t afford to do so.
