I passed by this little shop dozens of times before I finally ventured in. I have a world-​famous black thumb, but the expertise at The Flower Concept has made me a happy owner to two thriving house plants and two pots of seedlings. They sell really healthy plants and can tell you how to properly take care of them. Their prices are great! I bought a medium weathered clay pot for 3 dollars. They also sell flowers, and it alwasy smells like a dream inside. Check out their little plants on the front, they selection changes every day.

Places like these are one of the best reasons to live in Queens. You get quality goods at a very reasonable (cheap) price. I’ve been to a number of florists, but have been a repeat customer here for years. Nick is one of the co-​owners of this shop and he is very talented when it comes to floral arrangement. It really is an art and Nick has a good eye. He is also patient and generous. The flowers are fresh and reasonably priced. I would not go anywhere else for flowers. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Love this store, it’s one of my favorite places. It’s a small store, but high quality. This store is not on street level, it’s within the E/​F Roosevelt Avenue subway station.

Nick is the best, delivered on time that morning. I was worried that he might not be there on time for the birthday delivery, as my time was between 9 and 10am, but he told me he opens his store at 9:30am.That was tricky.
I thought this would be a such a great surprise for the person i love and actually she was. I truly thank Nick and his team from the bottom of my heart and would definitely recommend more customers for his awesome job that day!!! I ll be back Nick.

Nick is the best! He used to run his shop in Astoria and everyone on our block was heartbroken when he left. His flowers are beautiful– a true artist (he used to do floral design for a prince of Saudi!).
Let him have free reign– don’t buy those lame bouquets of roses or chrysanthemum! Unfortunately, the selection at this new site isn’t as interesting as his old place. He’s restricted by what sells. But if more people request more interesting items he’ll carry them– If you order ahead /​request items he doesn’t sell and he’s able to get it he’ll find it. He’s always happy to pick up something special. Free delivery too!
When my bf bought flowers for me he always remembered what I like/​didn’t like and made sure to make something just for me.
We love/​trust him so much he’s doing flowers for our wedding.

First I have to point out that this place is actually underground in the Jackson Heights — Roosevelt station next to the ATMs.
I went in, told the guy my price range, the colors I want, and he went to to work and made a gorgeous and huge bouquet in 10 mins. It looked so much better than the price I paid. They also have smaller premade bouquets at inexpensive prices. Plus the place is conveniently located in a train station so you can pick up some flowers when you’re on your way to see your significant other.

I bought some hydrangeas from here last week for my girlfriend and she loved them. She said they were the best hydrangeas she’s ever received and posted a picture of them on facebook.
It’s nice to see a flower shop in Jackson Heights that has more to offer than just roses and daisys. The person at the shop was also very helpful. I was going to pick out my own flowers, but he picked out the freshest hydrangeas for me instead. I will definately be visiting again!
