Established in 1949.

Started by John Burke in 1949 Johnny’s has been the premier choice for tree work in Jackson and surrounding ever since. John passed away in 1987 with Greg Smith taking over in 1989 after purchasing the business. Since that time Johnny’s has grown into the largest locally owned tree service in Jackson with services offered to all of mid Michigan year round. Now run by Cameron Smith, V.P./Owner and ISA Certified Arborist #MI-​4118A, Johnny’s Tree Service Inc. continues in the tradtion as the leader in family owned and operated tree care for mid Michigan.

Cameron Smith V.P./Owner of Johnny’s Tree Service Inc. has had a lifetime to appreciate trees and all they offer. Since 6 years old he has been continually learning and working in the industry to carry on the tradition of a properly run company in the business of tree care. Starting from the ground up he has done everything from running a rake, grinding stumps, running a bucket truck and operating the log truck to running the whole show. Now a ISA Certified Arborist #MI-​4118A, EHAP trained for utlity line clearance, and trained in all aspects of equipment required for any type of tree work there is nothing that can’t be taken care of with Johnny’s Tree Service Inc.
