Called to see if they did oil changes with synthetic oil for my Jetta TDI. He didn’t know what I was talking about. Yikes!

I have a twelve year old car that is also a ford so I have been through quite a bit with it. As such, I have dealt with more car shops and mechanics than is necessary for my car. I have gotten accustomed to asking for an oil change and getting told something to the liking of «If you don’t spend another $ 400 and 2 hours in our shop, your car will fall apart and explode!!!». This experience, however, was different. It went like this:
«I need an oil change. My car has over 100,000 miles.».
«Okay, pull around. How does (this oil) sound?»
15 minutes later…
«Ma’am. Your car is finished. Keys are in it. I filled your windshield wiper fluid too. Thanks and have a great day.».

Professional and courteous. McGee’s Penzoil is located right across the street from the University of Mississippi Hospital and directly in front of the JSU Stadium. This was perfect for us since we had driven a long way from Alabama to visit the hospital. I was in need of an oil change and tire rotation and we just dropped the car off, walked across the street for a few hours and picked the car up on the way out. The gentlemen there were kind enough to give us directions to our destination on the way out. You probably can’t get in and out easily on game day because it is going to be blocked! I would bring my car here again when I visit Jackson.
