History

Established in 2007.

Kurt Robertson, CPP and his wife Cara, who manages the studio, really enjoy making their clients members of the family. They find it an amazing experience to document those special moments whether it is the beginning of a new life, those first wobbly steps, coming of age as high school seniors or those special family relationships.

Kurt Robertson is an award winning photographer and a Certified Professional Photographer. He has worked all over the Midwest. He left West Michigan in 2007 and came to Jackson to be closer to his wife’s family. This year Kurt completed his Masters certification and will be awarded his medal in January 2012 at the Imaging USA. He is also Professional Photographers of America Certification Liaison, which means he mentors up and coming photographers so they can qualify to be certified.

I am usually the voice of Studio One both online and if you call. I love trying to find the information about our clients that lets us capture their story in pictures.

My background is theater construction and Business/​IT management. I get to use all of it as studio work is quite dynamic.
