A long-​standing favorite among locals & visitors alike, we offer a full breakfast menu, along with daily selections of fresh baked; croissants, muffins, coffee cake, danishes & more. Hearty lunches include great soups & delicious sandwiches served on our famous OSM (Oats, Sunflower and Millet) bread and don’t forget our tantalizing desserts. We’re located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, just ½ block north of the Town Square.

History

Established in 1975.

In a Valley called Jackson Hole, in a small log cabin that once was a blacksmith shop, a bakery was born. Soon this bakery expands to a restaurant. From 1975 to this day «the bakery that’s a restaurant» uses only the finest and freshest of ingredients to provide the most wholesome and nutritious foods possible. Went into grab a quick breakfast before heading back on a long drive, decided to stop by and check it out. While being seated, served, and even while eating the meal the service was extremely lacking. Coffee and drinks didn’t get refilled. Food wasn’t checked on, not even once. It seems like chatting with coworkers is more important to a couple servers then making well earned tips. Went up to pay, we were asked how our service was and explained the situation, management (I believe) took really good care of us, so 4 stars. Probably just an off day (we all have those).

The service is outstanding. I hear the place may not exist due to rising rent and that is a sad thing to hear especially since the breakfast food is pretty damn good!
First day I had the bacon omelet! So good!
Second day I had the Belgian waffle with strawberries and blueberries! Perfectly crispy and fluffy! Coffee is strong and good! The fresh juices are outstanding!
Ask questions the waitstaff is super friendly! Get the pancakes as well!!! Soooooo good!

What a deliciously warm place! The Bunnery is a breakfast and lunch place serving up plenty of hot coffee and absolutely scrumptious breakfast pastries.
I had quiche Florentine (fab-​TAS-​tic buttery crust topped with fluffy egg, spinach and Swiss cheese) and a glutinous substitute of a house-​made buttermilk biscuit with sausage gravy in lieu of the side of fruit. I was on vacation; don’t judge. :)
After my fill, I ordered a few pastries to go for the family. Each choice was an instant hit: My nieces went bonks over the cinnamon twist. My brother-​in-​law loved the chocolate croissant. The cheese strudel mini buddy cake and butter croissants disappeared.
I bet this place is PACKED during peak season. On our off-​season visit, we were seated immediately and were given just the right level of attention by the staff.

What a great place! Make this a regular stop! We had breakfast and it was delicious. I had the salmon scramble. It was scrambled eggs, red onion and smoked Norwegian salmon. Soooo savory!
My husband had the Teton burrito. It was stuffed full of scrambled egg, green pepper, onion, ham, bacon, cheese. Everything tasted super fresh! My toddler’s meal came with coffee cake. She didn’t to try it because I was a jerk and ate it all. I’m not even supposed to eat bread. I was extra naughty and also got a chocolate cheesecake muffin… TO DIE FOR! I’ve never enjoyed anything so much. My husband got a blueberry danish and he wanted us to turn around 40 miles out on our way home to get more lol. All of their food was great, the server was very kind and attentive, and the lady at the register, maybe manger or owner (?) was very friendly. Now our kid is older, travelling is more realistic. We will definitely return everytime we drive through.

Ate breakfast here twice and took pastries out once during a trip to Jackson. Great little local breakfast place. Excellent pastries and selection. Priced about what you’d expect in Jackson. The menu was varied and had decent kid’s choices. Can’t wait to visit again sometime.

My husband and I wanted to eat a light lunch. We chose The Bunnery Bakery & Restaurant specifically because it advertised soups. I had the vegetable soup, and my husband ordered one of the cheese sandwiches. We each considered our meals to taste quite average.
The baked goods looked fabulous, but we did not have any. Although the employees were quite nice, I would not go back again there for lunch.

The Bunnery is obviously a hot spot for breakfast. We waited outside for about 10 minutes in –7 temperatures! They have some heat lamps out there which kind of helps. We were seated within about 20 minutes. Waited 5 minutes before our server came to the table. Waited another 10 minutes for our drinks to come. Food was very good. I would go back, at a less busy time.

I always see long lines here in the summer so I thought we’d try it in the winter without the wait. I had the OSM oatmeal which was amazingly healthy and full of whole grains with blueberries and raisins on the side. The host was very friendly and courteous and our waitress was great. I’m afraid of all those fattening pastries and baked goods but they look very pretty and good. They kept the coffee coming so that earns a star in my book.

I was sick of my hotel’s crappy free continental breakfast and decided to treat myself. I ate here 12 years ago and thought to visit again. Staff is friendly and prompt in this clean rustic feeling eatery. No wait on Sunday at around 10AM with a few empty tables still around… everyone still asleep and hungover perhaps?
$ 13 Jackson Benedict… ham, spinach, cheese, and a not good but not bad either hollandaise sauce. They don’t do poached eggs, but over-​easy is close enough. Overall pretty standard but quite pricey, though this is an expensive town anyway. Hash browns are greasy and fantastic!
$ 3 Coffee… its Starbucks brew with free refills.
After tax and tip it was almost $ 20…a bit pricey for breakfast, as mentioned, but still very satisfying and you’re on vacation anyway.

We visited this local eatery on a Thursday morning in October. We were seated immediately. As you walk in, you’re delighted by the sights of all their wonderful baked goods. We both had coffee. I ordered the bacon omelette and he ordered the avocado omelette. Each comes with hash browns and two pieces of toast. The only downside to any of it was the fact that the hash browns were bland. I had to add salt, which I absolutely never do! But that’s a simple fix, and they perked right up! If a little salt is all my meal needs, no biggie! The omelettes were cooked perfectly as were the toast and hash browns. The service was great!

The food was forgettable. Nothing special. What does stand out was the lukewarm coffee, the brusque hostess, the disheveled-​looking host, and my daughter’s breakfast order seemed to have gotten lost somehow. So, the server brought her a stale muffin to make us feel better (I guess). Nobody liked it, well, because it was not fresh.
We were touring The Tetons so they probably don’t strive very hard. They know they won’t see most of their customers again anyway. I don’t even know why I gave them 2 stars. Overall, it was just meh. The lukewarm coffee? That seriously sucked, and I guess I couldn’t get past it. Had to ask them for «hot» coffee. Here I thought coffee IS served hot.

The Bunnery for breakfast was just so so for us. Hubby ordered buttermilk pancakes with a side of sausage. I ordered The Regular (two eggs — sunny side up — sausage, hash browns, and toast) with coffee. The waitress brought two cups of coffee and two water glasses with a water carafe. The sausages were cold. The hash brows were okay — needed salt. The coffee was «Starbucks» and it was okay.
The restaurant is fairly good size and the tables turn over quick. The server was okay. She did refill my coffee once. Luckily, I had two cups.

We were visiting Yellowstone and drove through Jackson on our way home. I had researched breakfasts in Jackson the night before and decided this one looked like one all 5 of us could enjoy. We arrived on a chilly morning and to our delight, heaters above warmed us while we waited-​about 5 minutes for a table. The dining area inside is crowded but the food made up for that. The bacon omelet was amazing-​it oozed chopped bacon and cheese. My son had strawberry French toast, also wonderful. The fresh squeezed orange juice was pricey but worth it. We bought some homemade granola on our way out and I now wish we had bought more-it’s amazing!
I highly recommend this place. The menu is wide and the food is fantastic.

The Bunnery is a cute and popular breakfast place right off the square. I arrived here early with 2 friends and were (surprisingly) seated right away. The service was good and they refilled our coffees consistently. The food was alright, but nothing terribly special. I had the croissant breakfast with the strawberry and cheese croissant, eggs over medium, and potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly and were good, but nothing you couldn’t get anywhere. I was very excited to try the croissant. This thing was massive, I think it weighed 2 pounds… packed full of cream cheese and strawberry… and it was good… it just was maybe a little too much, for me anyway. Regardless, if you were in the neighborhood and wanted a sit down breakfast, this isn’t a bad choice, there just were a couple other breakfast places in Jackson that were much better.

This place was our second choice since our first choice was packed and this had open seating. Once we got through we understood why.
They seated us quickly but apparently in the no-​waitress area. Once we flagged someone down for menus and water our waitress came over. She apologized but said she was one of a few wait staff. Apparently the other people standing around were for show… I mean other duties. Didn’t see them doing much of anything but being on cell phones or talking to friends. Our poor waitress was running all over.
My Unilocal check-​in got me a free beer. We ordered and waited. The food came out shorty after but the sandwiches that had cheese had cold cheese, like something you added after the sandwich was made and you realized you forgot the cheese. All the plates were hot but the food was room temp.
Our waitress did her best to keep our water full and deal with ALL the other customers. We tipped her well.
Paying was another adventure. One register for the entire place. It was a line for the restaurant, bakery, and store. Chaos. There were more thane a few people who put stuff back on the shelf and just walked out. if I could have paid cash I would have done the same.
