In town for business and Alamo gave me a car that constantly shows low– filled it twice. Pulled into Sun in a panic and a rush. The short of it: the sensor was showing for the wrong tire– the awesome staff fixed all pressures. Alamo will get a earful. These guys are GREAT.

Best experience ever! Was told by another shop that my tire needed replaced. Sun Tire looked at it and no replacement needed– not even a patch (nail didn’t even break thru) Honest, trustworthy, accommodating, and fast service. Nice to go somewhere and not be sold something you don’t need. Ask for Jamie– awesome manager!

Total waste of my time. Brought my vehicle for an oil change at 8 am on a Tuesday, and after an hour they informed me that they couldn’t perform the service because I have an aftermarket drain plug (a Suredrain). Their policy is that they will only do oil changes on factory equipment ‘to protect themselves’ for legal reasons. I offered to sign a ‘hold harmless’ waiver and alleviate their concern. Nope. Because that might make actual sense. So they wasted an hour of my time with no compensation and sent me to their competition. Help stamp out stupidity in America. Don’t give these fools your business.

After being a Discount Tire fan for years. I needed a alignment and knowing it wasn’t offered there I called Sun tire. I was surprised on how competitive their pricing was and the amount of services offered! Needless to say I would much rather spend me money with a local shop then the Big Tire Corporations! I loved the customer service and feeling like more then just another number! Thank you Sun Tire!

I must say I have been very pleased with their service here. The prices are great! They beat almost anyone in town. Sometimes there are coupons online that sweeten the deal even more. The staff has always been friendly. Calling ahead for an appointment is always ideal but there has been a time I needed something done right away and they took care of it.

I have had my 2007 subaru sti oil changed here a couple of time with fast and excellent service. They even let me bring my own oil and oil filter. I bring my own because my subie is modified and I buy I quality products. Only charged me like 15 bucks for the service after I bought and brought my own stuff. But I do bring my wifes 2006 rava 4 and they do an oil change with their oil filter and oil for about $ 30. I will always go to them first when it come to my cars

These guys are awesome! had my tire ordered and fixed in no time flat! Also put the spare on so I could get things done in the mean time. Fair price and awesome service!

I used to always go to Tires Plus for oil changes, but almost always left frustrated. Their mechanics work off commission, so every time I came in for a visit they would try to talk me in to some kind of protection plan or extended warranty.
The first time I visited Sun Tire it was for new tires and an alignment. I was quoted an out-​the-​door price that included all of the fees and taxes, and they even told me after looking at my car that an alignment wouldn’t be necessary and took the cost of that off of my final bill.
The last time I went in for an oil change the associate behind the counter saw my car pull up and had my information pulled up before I even walked through the front door. In less than 30 minutes they were calling me to let me know my car was ready, and they didn’t try to sell me a single additional service.
I tell everyone who brings up mechanics in the Jacksonville area to go to Sun Tire. You won’t be disappointed!

I hate mechanics because I used to be one myself and every auto shop I have ever gone to always tries to rip me off, not knowing my past job experience. I have never had a problem with Sun Tire through, and it is the only place I would bring my car. They do great car alignments, the first time I went there for one they even gave me a coupon discount even through I didn’t have the coupon and had no idea about it!
When you do get a alignment they give you the print out also, which is great because you can actually see what they changed rather than just them telling you it is good now. My girlfriend once thought she need a alignment and went here. They took a look at her car and since her alignment was barely off they did it for free since it was such a small adjustment. She also went once to get her struts changed and even through it was a busy day they were done in about a hour.
