Advanced Bodywork Solutions, Inc. specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy and Structural Bodywork. These therapies are goal-​oriented forms of Bodywork which address specific pain problems, trigger points and possible postural distortions. These usually occur as a result of various reasons, such as repetitive overuse, direct trauma or general poor posture. Within a treatment session, an experienced practitioner will assess and identify the source of the client’s pain, as well as educate him/​her about this pain

History

Established in 2013.

Advanced Bodywork Solutions, Inc was established by Deborah Wooding Moody in 2013. Mrs. Moody has been a licensed, practicing massage therapist for over 22 years. The business is conveniently located near the heart of downtown Jacksonville, in the historic San Marco area. It occupies space with an experienced acupuncturist and is downstairs from a popular yoga studio.

Business Owner

Deborah Wooding Moody has been a practicing, licensed massage therapist for over 22 years. She graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 1993. She later earned her BA in Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from the University of North Florida in 1995 and completed a degree in Interior Design in 2006.

Mrs. Moody’s work experience includes extensive training in advanced bodywork, in addition to working with chiropractors, neurologists, acupuncturists and physical therapists. She is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal/​Postpartum, Infant Massage and aromatherapy. For 10 years, Deborah was a key instructor at both Southeastern School of NMT & Keiser Career College, teaching students seeking licensure in Massage Therapy. She taught the Structural Anatomy & Kinesiology and the NMT courses of the program. She also wrote, developed and administered the Neuromuscular Certification Exam to those students seeking post-​graduate certification.
