History
Established in 2014.
Becoming Alpha Performance started in a small 1000 square foot warehouse to give those looking to improve their health, fitness, strength and performance an edge over the programs of commercial gyms. Since opening in September of 2014, we have grown substantially and have upgraded to an 1800 square foot facility, complete with an in-house massage therapist. Additionally, we work with local athletic teams including the Jacksonville Roller Girls who we’ve helped improve from number 16 in the world all the way to number 8!
As we continue to grow, our new programs have developed into not only helping people lose weight and gain strength, but recover from injuries and regain their lives. Becoming Alpha dedicates itself to improving all of its members regardless of fitness level which means we continually unveil new areas of fitness and performance that won’t be found anywhere else.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
I’ve spent the last several years pursuing my goal of learning as much as I can to help others reach their fitness goals. In 2012 I received my B.S. in Exercise Science as well as an additional B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maine. I recently completed my M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Wake Forest University. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and have helped numerous athletes at various stages of their careers from middle school to Division 1 collegiate athletics. In addition to sport performance training I have a solid background in fat loss, muscular development, recovery and rehabilitation and prenatal training.
