Dr. Deigert graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1977. After serving 3 years in the United States Navy Dental Corps, he went into private practice. Practicing for over 23 years in Maryland, Dr. Deigert and his wife moved to North Carolina in 2003. He has served the Jacksonville community for the last 12 years.

Dr. Deigert is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association and has been the president of the Onslow County Dental Society for the last 8 years. An avid golfer and traveler, Dr. Deigert has been married to his wife, Debbie, for over 41 years. A father of two adult daughters, Dr. Deigert and his wife are blessed with five grandchildren.
