After 15 minutes of waiting for a water glass and my order to be taken I left. It wasn’t very busy at the time and plenty of the staff members were standing around. I’m normally not that critical but this is in an airport, where people are in a hurry. If you have a flight within in an hour DON’T GO. In fact I wouldn’t waste my time with this place, they’ve seen these Unilocal reviews and still haven’t improved.

Worst airport restaurant ever(and I travel a lot). Extremely slow. And bad service. Although I told them I was in a hurry, they didn’t tell me salmon was frozen one so it took ages: 40min+ to prepare it, actually maybe more as I didn’t have a chance to see it, but they still charged me of course. They have many customers just because the other place next to it stops serving food at… 7pm(ridiculous as well).

If you have a flight anywhere within the next hour, definitely DONOT waste your time here. The service is so glacially slow, that I was amazed. Plenty of the staff was just standing around, and the one that was actually waiting tables didn’t really seem at all interested in being anywhere in any sort of rush. Heck, I’ve eaten at my fair share of airport restaurants, and while most of them are mediocre at best, the one thing — heck, the ONLY thing that matters is that you can get IN and OUT of there in time for your flight. You would be much better off picking up a bag of chips from the convenience store than eating at this restaurant.

Some things that I realize and so should you: (a) It is a chain restaurant. (b) It is a chain restaurant located in an airport. With that said, it is still a miserable dining experience. First, you have servers that honestly have no idea how to wait tables. They have no cadence in their visitation of tables, and they haven’t the first clue about the menu. They work here because it gave them a job and I imagine they don’t have to train/bus to JFK from very far away. They are, in general, rude and could care less about your timetable needs(which is odd because it’s an airport where people are always in a hurry). In the end, I think they know that you are essentially beholden to eating with them as there are only two other«sit-down» restaurants in the Terminal — so your choices are fairly limited if you do not want fast food.

I will never eat here again. Total crap. Food was disgusting and aweful. I will avoid Chilli’s in general from now on. Service was fast and attentive, but everything else about this place made me feel so sick for the next 14 hours of flight.

My roommate would like to say something about this establishment she knows how much i Unilocal and needed to vent to fellow travelers so they avoided chilis. the best part, she actually texted me after she ate here and said i needed to Unilocal it ASAP, but i waited for her to write the review.: horrible. no one even wanted to take our table. we waited for 15 – 20 minutes to get our drink order. this is an airport. the table was dirty when we sat down. we had the manager come over and then the servers proceeded to point at my father and i because no one wanted to take us for whatever reason. absolutely ridiculous. do not go, especially if you are in a hurry because they have zero hospitality and customer service. i understand its not a 5 star establishment but at least be courteous to your customers.
